Akito climbed out of the car. She stumbled for a moment. "Stupid high heels," she muttered.
"Huh. Maybe I could hide behind you. If any of my family only seeme from behind they may not recognize me," she murmered, laughing at the idea of hiding behind Devon.

Devon laughed as well.
"I have a better idea. Take off your shoes." He said. He slipped off his jacket and handed it to Akito. It should cover most of her outfit. He gently wipped the make-up off her eyes, even though he really didn't want to.

Akito blushed and giggled just a bit, to her dismay. Her cheeks turned red. She kicked the shoes off, a bit eagerly. Obviously she didn't like them much. Then she took the coat gratefully and slipped it on. It was pretty big on her, though she didn't seem to mind that. She'd always liked baggy clothes and such. She closed her eyes so Devon could get the eye shadow off of her eye lids, and she rubbed the lipstick off quickly.

He smiled at here. "That''ll do for now." He said, taking the clip out of her hair, letting her bangs fall onto her forhead. He kissed her cheek while no one was looking, then started walking inside.

Akito wiped some of the longer strands of hair out of her eyes. Her bangs were rather long. She smiled at him and then forced her smile to disappear with some difficulty, walking in with Devon, rather quickly. She still didn't want to be seen. People'd still see her legs, and she absolutely despised when her skin showed. It might just be her biggest insecurity.
After what seemed like forever for her, they reached her room. She entered hastily.

Devon entered first. He grinned at Akito when they got inside.
He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer.
"I still think you look beautiful when you're not all dressed up." He told her softly.

Akito smiled, and as much as she hated it, giggled. Again. Her face went bright red. "I-I'm going to go change," she said. The fact that she'd stuttered made her go an even brighter shade of red, and get this. She giggled some more, then half-heartedly pulled away from him.

Akito walked to her room and changed, tossing her dress on the floor and changing into her usual white yukata. She came back out. "I'm honestly more comfortable in this," she said with a laugh.

Akito let him hold her, smiled, content. She didn't hear the door open and close as someone slipped in.
"How sweet," there was a snarl in the voice. Cold, oily, like her hair.
Akito instinctively shoved herself away from Devon, probably shoving him back to in the process.
"What do you want, Mother?" She demanded.
"Oh, nothing," Ren said icily, practically cackling. "Just visiting my darling daughter."

"Ah, Devon-san," Ren said with a chuckle, smirking, pretending to be pleased to see him. Then she turned back to Akito.
"So you were wearing a dress, earlier. What were you doing?"
"What I do with my private life is not of your concern, b*tch," Akito snarled at Ren.
"How shamefull, to call your mother such a disrespectful word," Ren scoffed.

Devon sighed.
"Ren, I must ask you to leave." He said.

"I don't think you are in charge of me," Ren replied with a smirk. She did indeed have a high status in the Main House. She was nowhere near as powerful as Akito was, though.
"I am though," Akito replied, glowering at Ren.
"I'm sorry, but I don't believe the child should have power over the parent," Ren sneered.
"You're hardly a parent!"
"I brought you into this world, didn't I?"
"Not without threatening my life!"
They continued to yell at eachother. Finally Ren said something.
"I feel sorry for Devon," Ren said silkily.
"And why is that?" Akito demanded.
"Why, he has to be with you. It must be terrible."
Akito's fists clenched, eyes wide, wondering if Devon would hold her back if she tried to strangle the woman.
Ren went on. "Of course, he'll probably leave you when he realize you're not worth it."
Akito's eyes widened further. That was it. She jumped forward, wrapping her hands around Ren's neck as she knocked the long-haired woman to the ground. But Ren wrapped her own hands around Akito's throat. They both coughed and choked as they strangled eachother on the ground.
((Those two should hurt eachother first. Poor Devon without his super strength would get hurt by BOTH of them by breaking up the fight.))

Devon jumped up quickly, grabbing Akito around the wasit, he managed to pull her away from Ren. Hopefully Ren would attack Akito next.

Akito coughed and sputtered. "Let go of me, Devon!" She said a bit hoarsely, trying to pull away. She dug her nails into Devon's arm that was around her waist unthinkingly. Obviously she'd lost her temper and was blinded, unaware of what she was doing.
