Rin shrugged. "Not exactly sure. Just... not kind, I guess. But I guess it's probably good we have you around. Maybe you'll rub off a bit on Akito, since you spend most of your time with him," she smirked.

"You remind me of Haru," Rin said, giving him an actual smile now. "You and him are really alike. Kind. You seem really gentle, too."
She couldn't help saying it. He was very nice, not what she would have expected from a friend of Akito's.
"Sometimes nice people are stupid, though," she sighed. She found people who wanted to befriend her stupid, because she didn't believe she was worth befriending.

He looked over at her with his golden colored eyes.
"Why do you think that?" He asked her about why she thought nice people could be stupid. He had really never really met a person that had been stupid. He always had concidered kind people to be wise...

"I kind of think that people who try to befriend me are stupid, because there's no point. They might be hurt," Rin explained a bit quietly, thinking of Tohru and Haru. She'd broken up with Haru, but she couldn't think of a way to have Tohru leave her alone...

Akito was outside looking for Devon. She went wide-eyed when she saw him speaking with Rin. And smiling. How could he? Was he befriending her? She shouldn't have even been out in the gardens!
Rin saw Akito and opened her mouth as if she was going to say something-- or scream, but nothing came out. Her eyes were wide though. She tried to gain her composure.
Akito walked over to stand beside Devon.
"What are you doing here?" She demanded, glaring at Rin.
Rin didn't say anything. She was still trying to regain her composure.

Akito nodded. "Right. Isuzu, aren't you still a bit ill from your last ulcer attack?" Akito said icily, hardly acknowleding Devon at the moment.
Rin bit her lip, averting her eyes, but also looking rigid, mad, irritated. "I had it a week ago, Akito-san," she said, definitely sounding angry, using a tone in her voice so she was sounding disrespectful.
"I suggest you don't talk to your family head like that," Akito said. She was going to slap Isuzu...

Devon chewed on his lip.
"Akito..." He said warily. "Maybe you should go back inside." He suggested calmly. He didn't want Akito to hurt Isuzu or herself, so maybe going back inside would be the best option.

"Not until she leaves," Akito said, continuing to glare at Isuzu.
Isuzu stood up. She was taller than Akito, but she still looked frightened.
"What are you waiting for?! Go back to Kagura's house!" Akito said to the girl.
Isuzu started walking in the direction of the exit from the garden. She didn't run. She just walked.
Akito sat down next to Devon now. "What was she even doing here? She's not supposed to be at the main house. She lives on the outside, with Kagura and her parents," she said.
