Where's Devon? (EMBER)

[Akkii]

Alice was at the house alone. The other night she'd gone hunting by herself, because she'd felt like it. And today the others were all hunting. Since she wasn't hungry she'd stayed home.
It was really quiet, kind of nice. But then her face blanked.

Akito was coming. Okay. And Akito was crying. Why? Why was Akito even coming here, she wondered curiously.

Minutes later there was a knock at the door.

"The door's open, you can come in!" Alice called.

Akito walked in. "Is Devon here?" She absolutely had to make sure... see if Devon had left yet.

"No... He left for... Rome," Alice replied.

"Da**it! Da**it, da**it, da**it!" Akito said, tears streaming down her face again. Tears of both anger and sadness.

"Akito, what's wrong?" Alice asked, feeling sympathy for this person... this person who acted like a boy. She had a pretty good suspicion that Akito was a girl though.

Akito was aware of Alice's suspicion, and knew that the short girl would figure it out soon enough anyway. So she came out with it. It was amazing she could confide in this girl that she hardly knew... only remembering her from when Carlisle had saved her from being turned into a vampire.
"I can't stand it. The thing I wanted to happen the very least happened. Devon left me, and I'm hurting so much because of it..."

"Do you want me to watch him, see if he decides anything?" Alice asked.

Akito didn't understand at first, but then rememberd that Alice could see into the future. "Ummm... yeah, I suppose." She said awkwardly. She felt silly for confiding in Alice.

"You won't tell anyone about this, will you?" Akito asked nervously.

"My lips are sealed. Hey, did you walk all the way here? You live back out in the city don't you?"

"Yes." Akito replied. She was still scared, sad beyond belief, but somehow she could remain calm. She must have cried it all out.

"Want me to drive you home?" Alice asked, sympathetic.

"I guess..." Akito replied, sort of grimacing. What was she thinking?

Then Alice blanked. She was having a vision. A vision about Devon

"Alice? Alice, what's wrong with you?" Akito asked as Alice stared into space, unresponsive.

Alice rocked back and forth on her feet. "Devon..." She mumbled.

"What about Devon?!" Akito asked. When Alice didn't answer she grew impatient, slowly losing her temper. "Alice! What's wrong with you?!"

Alice was blanked out for a few seconds, which probably felt like minutes or even hours. She looked up at Akito, a small, hopefull smile was on her pale face. "Sorry, anyway," She pasued, then continued.
"He misses you, he's trying to figure out what to do. Every time his mind changes, his future chanes, so I can't say exactly what he's planning next, but for the moment, he's going to fly to Veince and try to control his hunger by being around more people, kinda stupid, if you ask me...which is why he's changing his mind right now." She blanked out for a moment again, but it wasn't as long.
"Now he's thinking about going to France and live out in selcusion..." She gave Akito another hopeful smile. "Maybe he'll change his mind and come back, but it's hard to say, I'll keep you notified." She paused again.
"He'll be getting on a train to France pretty soon." She added quickly.

Akito nodded. She felt like an idiot. Just coming here, crying to this /girl/ as if she'd known her all her life. God only knows if she knew about Akito.

Akito sighed. She knew she'd regret this, but she started talking to Alice. She needed something to keep her from crying, to keep her mind off of Devon. "Ugh... I feel so stupid, just running in here like this. What's wrong with me?!" She complained. "Hey, Alice..." She suddenly added. "You won't tell anybody about this... will you?" Her eyes were narrowed, a sort of anxious edge to her usually smooth voice.

[Platinum]

Alice laughed her beel-like laugh.
"Of course not, I wouldn't tell a soul." She said.

[Akkii]

"Thanks," Akito said, sounding a bit reluctant to utter the word.

[Platinum]

Alice nodded. "No problem." She said.

[Akkii]

Akito sighed. "I think I'll be leaving now..." She said. But her feet were so sore from running through the forest. She was thankful they weren't bleeding. They were already scratched up terribly, she'd come here barefoot...

[Platinum]

Alice got up. "I'll drive you." She said.

[Akkii]

"Fine... I guess," Akito said, feeling a bit awkward around Alice. She hardly knew the girl and she was already being offered a ride from her. This was really odd.

[Platinum]

Alice grabbed the keys to her Porsche, then led AKito out to her car.

[Akkii]

Akito blinked when she saw the car. Wow. A bright yellow porsche. She wondered how fast Alcie was going to drive.

[Platinum]

ALice quickly got in on the drivers side and waited for akito to get in.

[Akkii]

Akito got in. Nice leather seats.

She looked out the window of the car.

"This is a pretty nice car..."

[Platinum]

"Thanks. Edward got it for my birthday after I stole a wholebunch and decided that I liked them." She glanced over, then let o ut a nervous chuckle. "It's not what you think...I had to do it save Bella's life..."

[Akkii]

"That's... interesting," Akito said, surprise written across her face. This little thing, who was at least half a foot shorter than she stole cars? "Who's Bella?"

[Platinum]

"Edward's human girlfriend." She said. "Bella wants to be a vampire sooo badly." She said.

[Akkii]

"Sometimes I do too..." Akito confessed before she could stop herself. "Considering I have two or three years left. But if Devon's gone forever, I don't care. I'd rather just die all ready than live my last few years without him."

She slammed her hand against her forehead after she finished. "What the HE** am I thinking?! I'm not..." She muttered to herself. Really, what was she thinking, just coming out like this.

[Platinum]

Alice was slightly amused, but kept a calm face.
"Devon doesn't hate you, he still wants to be around you, he just needs to sort things out." Alice said.

[Akkii]

Akito sighed and nodded, trying to calm herself down, so she could think before she said anything. It was hard, she couldn't manage to calm herself down all the way, so she didn't say anything.

Then Akito saw little spots everywhere. They got bigger and bigger and then disappeared altogether and the headache started. Migraine.

"Ow..." Akito groaned, puting her fingers to her temples, rubbing, trying to make this stupid pain go away.

Alice looked over at Akito.
"Do you need anyhting?" She asked.
