Razi & Anger Managment

"Livvy." Razi corrected him. "Her name is Livvy. And she can come with us. Lets go." she said, grabbing a sweatshirt and Livvy's jacket.

When she was out the door, Vanessa apologized. "I'm sorry. It's just...she sees her dad when she looks at you. Thats why I sent her to anger managment. Course, it didn't exacly work. I just don't know what to do."

"Don't worry. It's alright. It's hard for a kid to watch their mom dating some guy they don't know anything about, especially if they didn't get along with their last dad. And sorry about messing up Livvy's name." Rei said.

Vanessa smiled. "She wouldn't notice. She'd probably start calling herself Lizard." she laughed. "You know how I told you about how he used to cut Razi's knees and make her kneel in salt so it burned?" she asked. "She won't eat salt now. Its almost sad. I spilled some salt on the floor once, and the poor kid freaked out."

Razi tried to calm herself down. "I can't believe she did this to me!" she exclaimed. "First this, and now that..." she trailed off. She stomped angirly the whole way to the sushi bar. She ordered some, and waited for Kenny.

Kenny just ordered some Salmon rolls and seared Ahi Ahi tuna.

"This guy might be different, Raz," Kenny said in a soothing voice.

Razi sat down at a table, putting the sleepy Livvy next to her. "I don't care." she replied.

There was a short silence. "There's something I gotta tell you." she said slowly.

Kenny nodded, not worried at first, until he heard the seriousness in Razi's voice.

Razi put her head in her hands. "Well, I've been feeling sick latley, so I went to the doctors..." she trailed off and looked up, pushing her hair out of her eyes. "Kenny...I've got stomach cancer." she said. She bit her lip and looked down again.

Kenny's face was completely blank for a moment. "Y-you're... you must be... you're just trying to kid with me? Right? That's all. You're just trying to freak me out."

You could tell Kenny was more trying to convince himself than ask Razi if she was joking.

Razi shook her head. Tears stung her eyes. "They said it could be worse...they said they might be able to treat it..."

"They'd BETTER be able to treat it." Kenny said, suddenly sounding a little angry. Not at Razi, of course. "I hope they're wrong, I hope they made some mistake and it turns out it's nothing! That's happened before, like when I got hurt once and they thought a broke my ankle, but they'd really just made a mistake..." He trailed off, tears starting to sting his own eyes now.

Razi shrugged. "I've got my surgery to try and remove a little in two days. I start my khemo after that. Basically I sit in a chair for three hours while they pump drugs into me." she said, trying to laugh. It came out more as a choking sound.

Kenny nodded. He swallowed and forced a smile. "It'll probably go fine..." He said quietly.

((When she has the actual surgery it should be really close! ^^))

"Yeah." she said. Livvy looked at both of them, yawning. "I'll have to go myself an iPod." she said. "Dropped my blue one in a puddle last month." she laughed.

"That sucks." Kenny replied.
