All Devon could do was shrug. "She's my sister. What else am I supposed to say?" He asked, smirking a bit at Akito.

Akito sighed. "Of course." There was a slight smile on her face now, and she leaned her head on Devon's bare shoulder for a minute.
Soon they were back in the room. Akito was immediately in the shower, washing the chlorene and ocean water out of her hair. Yes, the waves managed to get her hair. She was out soon enough, dried and dressed in 'pajamas'. Akito pretty much hated them. The bottoms were very short, the top was a tank top. Black with pink lace. She hated it.

Devon had been sitting back in a chair, the front two feet of it lifted off of the floor. When Akito walked out, he starred at her for a good long minute, but looked away quickly, feeling perverted. He probably would have been blushing if he could.
"Nice... pajamas." He murmured, having to find his voice. But he was still thinking to himself how stupid he sounded after saying that.

Alice smiled to herself as she watched them.
Akito had glanced the opposite way when she caught Devon staring. Face heated up, arms crossed across chest. She walked across the room stiffly and took a seat on the couch. She searched for a blanket she could use to cover herself up, to prevent her from more embarrassment. She found one, and laid it over her legs.
"Awww, Aki, you're no fun at all!" Alice whined. "Devon liked it."
"I don't care. You should know by now that I don't like to show so much skin. Or look like a sl*t."
Alice looked offended. "I'd never dress you to look like that, Akito! Calm down! It's pretty on you. If you'd just allow yourself to understand that you look good in it, you could enjoy it! Or at least not mind."
Akito sighed. "Get me advil or something. You're giving me a headache." She closed her eyes, and leaned her head back against the back of the couch. This was her way of saying the conversation was over.
Alice sighed and got advil for Akito, tossing her the bottle. It landed lightly in her lap. Akito picked it up and opened it, swallowing a couple without water and then closing the bottle up again.

Devon didn't say anything as the two bickered. He didn't know what to say. He wanted to deny that he thought it looked good, just because he was male and naturaly spiteful and still a bit upset at Alice. But if he said that, then wouldn't it make Akito upset... ?
It was Rhea that broke in to the silence.
"You don't look like that, Akito." The girl reassured. "Trust me, I've seen plenty of sl*ts."
"Rhea, don't talk like that." Devon snapped.
"What? Would you rather I say w****?" Rhea asked, perfectly innocent.
Devon grumbled under his breath, then said aloud. "Neither. Now be quiet, you're just making things worse."
Rhea glared at him, her big, topaz eyes narrowing. "You know, you really are an a** hole." She snapped back. Devon blinked. Woah. He didn't expect that. He couldn't think of anything to say, just watched Rhea who had crossed her arms and looked away frm her brother, silently fuming. Devon didn't realize that he had been a bit cruel and harsh to Rhea since she had showed up, only wanting to help.
But he didn't let it bother him for too long. She was just a little girl, after all. Ignorant, stupid, foolish.
((For some reason, I keep thinking that Rhea and Shigure would get along. XD))

Akito glared at Rhea. Usually, the girl was okay, but what she had just said about Devon...
"Don't call him that! Don't speak to him that way!"
Alice bit her lip. "Hey, calm down you two," she said, relaxed. She sure wished Jasper were here...

Rhea now glared at Akito.
"Just because he's your little pet doesn't mean that you can control me, too." She snapped bitterly.
"Rhea!" Devon stood up.
Rhea faced him. "You've changed." She said to him. "You used to be nicer. Nice nice nice!" Rhea said, almost on the verge of slipping into Latin or Greek.
"Rhea calm down." Devon told her.
"No! I won't calm down! You have always left me behind. Always! You never cared about what happened to me." She spat at him.
((Sorry if I'm confusing you. XD This has to do with my Rhea fan fic. ^^))

Akito blinked, watching the sibblings fight. Devon was not her pet! ((That's Kureno's job. XD)) But she couldn't bring herself to say anything. Rhea said something that sounded familiar... wait, wait, she herself had said that once... But she hadn't sounded foolish. At least, she didn't think she did.

"I didn't abandon you." Devon said gently.

"You left me there! You just left, but then you came back to watch me die!" She screeched.

Akito was fairly confused, but she just sat back and watched. She'd get in the way, or ask questions, if she absolutely had to. She hated how Rhea was talking to Devon, though.
Alice glanced at Akito, a silent question. What was going on? Akito shook her head. She had no idea.

Rhea let out a huff and turned away from Devon. Devon just stood there.
"Feeling better now?" He asked for a while. "It makes me feel baby to see my baby sister upset."
Rhea's eyes widened for a moment, but she quickly recovered, but had to pretend to mad now, just to be spiteful.
"Not really."

From the angle at which Akito was sitting, she saw Rhea's reaction.
"You aren't mad," she stated. "Anyway, what's all this about Devon leaving you? I'm farily curious."
The tone she used sounded like Shigure's. She inwardly cursed, irritated that she was able to sound anything like him.

"None of you're buisness." Rhea said to Akito, but her tone had softened. Devon sighed.
"She's talking about when she was turned into a vampire." Devon said. "As you already know, Rhea was changed after me-" He was cut off by her.
"This is none of their concern." She said stubbornly.

Alice laughed. "You sound a lot like Akito when you're mad," she said simply. Hopefuly it would lighten the mood.
Akito was too tired to really disagree, so she just arched an eyebrow at the pixie-like girl, then looked to Rhea.
"I should know whatever he did, though I highly doubt he left, and then returned to watch you die," she told the girl.
