"Mm-hm. Anyway, go. If you hurry, she might not notice that you are sneaking up on her," Akito urged.
So long as he didn't get hurt, she was happy. And she was sure that he wouldn't get hurt by sneaking up on Victoria.

Devon nodded, then pulled away from Akito.
He dissapeared into the dark.
Minutes ticked by. Devon had been gone for a while...
Suddenly, his figure sppeared out of nowhere, dropping out of the sky. He roughly grabbed Victoria by the shoulders from behind and tore her away from Bella, snarling.

Victoria, in surprise, let go of Bella, who rushed to Edward qiuckly, tripping over her feet once.
Devon came out of nowhere. Even Akito was a little surprised.
Victoria shoved Devon off of her, starting to run off. She needed to come up with a new plan...
When Victoria was out of sight, Akito ran back to Devon.
"Wow... that was vicious," she murmered.

"Er... Vampires. Except they think it's unnatural to abstain from drinking human blood." Azriel replied figuring there was no use in hiding anything. Not that he really would at this point. "I'll explain better later. For now, I really think leaving would be best." He added.

Jade nodded. "Will all of us be catching a plane together?" She asked. "I mean, you and me, um..." She paused as she remembered the name. "Akito... I think... and the blonde, oh, and Bella-- right?-- and Edward?" She asked.
