Yuki knocked on the door, just a bit nervous. Or maybe embarrassed was the right word? For some reason this felt so cliche, sort of like in the movies. He had a rose in one hand, and a small box containing hair ribbons in the other. He figured the white would look good in her hair... though Tohru had helped him find them.
Alice answered the door. "Oh, hey, Yuki! Erm, what's with the flower and box anyway?" She asked. Yes, she'd seen him coming with the stuff, she didn't know about White Day though.
"Well, a couple days ago it was White Day, basically Japan's Valentine's Day," Yuki explained.
Alice smiled. "Oh, then that's for Ember! Come in! You know, you don't have to knock. I thought that was already established..."
"Eheheh, I know, I just thought it would be more polite, I guess," Yuki said, stepping inside, smiling.

Ember, who was still human, was sitting on the cough, a book in her hands. Her red hair brushed behind her ears. She was wearing a simple light pink shirt with a pain or nice jeans. She was reading Wuthering Heights, she had borrowed the book from Bella. At first she wasn't all that interested in it. But she began to grow more and more intrigued by it.
She hadn't even noticed Yuki step in untill she heard him talking with Alice.
She glanced up from the book, seeing Yuki she smiled warmly before getting up off the couch. She was still rather thin, but she was starting to look much healthier now.
"Hey, Yuki." She grinned at him.

"Hey, Em," Yuki replied. He kissed Ember on the cheek, then handed her the rose, first. "Eheh, happy White Day," he said.
Alice smiled. "I'll leave you two alone! Maybe I should throw a White Day party..."

She looked at the red rose in her hand. "Thanks, Yuki." She smiled at him. "But... uh... What's White Day?" She asked him,f eeling her face heat up. She should have looked it up or something, so she could have gotten Yuki something too.

"Ahaha! Basically Japan's Valentine's Day," Yuki explained, grinning. He handed her the box. "I wasn't sure if you'd like these or not, but they're half from Honda-san, too. She suggested them and practically picked them out."

Yuki smiled and pulled the ribbons out of the box. He looked at her hair nervously for a moment. Then he carefully gathered it up into a pony-tail and tied the ribbons around it. It wasn't as good as he'd hoped, but he'd done... okay.
He flushed. "I don't think I did a very good job."

She gently felt the pony tail with her hand. "I'm sure it's fine." She said to himm, before giving him a kiss on the cheek, having to lean upwards a bit. Alice was right, she had grown a bit, but not much.

Yuki smiled. "Thanks. You know, we should do something. I could take you out to eat," he offered, fingering a bit of stray hair that he'd missed when putting her hair into a rather crudely done pony-tail.
