((Don't ask about the title. I was trying to be creative. *laugh*))
Momiji skipped through the woods. Sadly, Tohru wasn't home. -Sigh-
So he was walking around in the forest with his violin. He saw a huge house. He'd heard that they'd sold some of the Sohma land for people moving in. The Cullens. Wait... the Cullens! Yuki's girlfriend was there... and Akito's friend Devon.
He leaned against a tree near the house, and put his violin into the playing position and started playing. He'd made it up. It was slow, a melancholy song. As he played he thought about his mother. And his sister Momo.
I miss Mama, He thought. Even if she did reject me. I guess I'm being selfish, though. If she still remembered me, she may not be as happy as she is right now. Too bad I can't see Momo, much... He recalled the memory of when his mother had her memory erased by Hatori.
Momiji realized he was crying now, and stopped playing his violin to wipe his tears away. Mama's better now, He reminded himself with a sad smile. Stop being selfish, Momiji. Besides. At least you get to see her and Momo sometimes. Ha'ri doesn't even get to see the lady he once loved, He told himself. He smiled a bit wider, glad he was lucky enough to see them, even if his own mother didn't know he was her son. The young-looking fifteen year old started playing his violin again, a happier tune.

Momiji poked his head into Hatori's darkened office, unseen. He watched as his mother and Hatori spoke with eachother.
"Are you absolutely sure this is what you want?" Hatori asked, sounding gravely serious. "Do you really want to erase the memory of your only child? Are you sure... you won't regret it?"
Momiji's mother was crying, looking down at her hands in her lap. She slowly looked up at Hatori, slouching slightly. "Right now, my greatest regret is that that /thing/ came out of my body," She said, her curly blonde hair falling around her tearstained face. She was still crying. Momiji was watching silently, blinking tears from his own eyes. Terribly sad his mama was rejecting him, though his papa had already said that this would help her, because his papa had said she was very ill. Momiji being erased from her memory would save her. His papa promised that he would love Momiji twice as much for him, since his mother could not give him love.
Hatori sighed. "Very well then." He lifted his hand to her forehead, covering her eyes. Momiji couldn't take it and ran off then.
