The bell rang. Edward sighed. School was over. All day he'd been hearing troubled thoughs from Tohru. He had decided he'd talk to her after school. He remembered what her last class was and strided out of the class room to wait outside Tohru's.

Tohru stepped out of the classroom, so deep in thought she tripped over her own feet and spilled her books everywhere. A few people laughed and walked off. The others jast navigated around her.
"Oh! Sorry!" Tohru said to Edward, picking up her stuff. "I'll get out of your way, just let me get my stuff. Ehehe." She picked up therest of her books, but tripped again, her face turned bright red and she picked up herstuff again.

Edward chuckled quietly and bent down, quickly grabbing all of her books then standing back up and handing them to her. "I have to talk to you, Tohru." He said.

"Mm... right, we left out my power... I'm sorry. You know how me, and the rest of the Cullens are vampires. Well, Alice, Jasper, and I all have a special power. I read minds." Edward was speaking even quieter now.
((Tohru already knows about vampires. i know that. lol))

Edward chuckled, noticing her self-consciousness. "I promise I don't try to listen." He said. "Your thoughts just surprised me. You're always so happy, but you sounded very sad today. So... What is your mother's name? And your father's?" He asked. He'd helped Tohru put her books in her locker and now was leading her outside to a place that was quieter.

Edward already knew, but he wanted her to say it.
