((A little story of how the man we all hate (Moshi, of course XD) and how he came to be so cruel to his niece))
I wasn't always like this. When my little brother and Kira got married, I absolutely loved his wife like a sister. She was very nice to me. And she was perfect for Lee.
But Kira and her family had always been strange. She had lived with her older sister until she married my brother. She lived with them, because her parents had disappeared one night. I was fine with that. I even felt pity for her.
At first.
A year after Kira was born, I got married, and I year later, I had a son. I loved my son like you wouldn't believe. My small family often visited them, while visiting, I would learn more and more about Kira. She showed me a picture of her grandfather once.
He had red eyes, and, I don't know if it was just the poor quality of the picture, but he looked like her was sparkling to me. This is what got me thinking a little bit. My Grandmother had red eyes as well, I always remembered her sparkling a little bit in the sun.
I begun to do some research. It took me a whole year and a half to figure out why both of our grandparents looked this way. During that time, my wife had another child.
My wife died while giving birth.
I was devastated, and to distract myself from the pain and misery, I buried myself in my research for another year.
Then, Kira gave birth. By that time, I was convinced I knew what we were...
This is were my story begins.
Kira invited me over for dinner. I was struggling to get my two year old and my one year old in the car. Danny (the oldest) kept running off, and Haru (the youngest) screamed and cried every time Danny left. I sighed, I eventually had to pick up Danny and set him in his car seat.
I somehow managed to get to Kira's house. And it was a miracle that I had gotten through the front door with out Danny wandering away from me.
Kira greeted me with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Shade, their only child, looked up at me with her sparkling green eyes. She looked way too unnatural. Different. She was too perfect in every way. the way her hair fell on her shoulders, how perfectly smooth her skin was, how big and green her eyes were, how beautifully dark her hair was...
"Kira..." I began, not knowing how to word what I was going to ask.
"I....I just can't take care of Danny and Haru anymore...with...her...being gone." I said, my eyes tearing up, I blinked them away.
"Can you take care of them for me? Please...? I just can't..." I couldn't continue, I was afraid that I would cry. Kira, almost did cry for me.
"Of course." She told me softly. "Of course."
That night, I left my two sons there in Kira's care. I doubted that they would remember me as their father, but that would be nice if they did.
When I got home, I did cry. While I was packing my bags. I needed to go somewhere for a while, to find answers.
Volterra. I was leaving that night. The plane ride there was a lonely one. I struggled against my tears the whole way there. And trust me, I was in that plane for a while.....
---
I wasn't sure what to do after the plane landed. I existed the air port, and wandered a bit outside.
"What did I expect? I flashing neon light that said 'Volturi this way!'" He muttered to himself.
"Vulture?' Came a sweet voice. The girl who said it, made me jump. I spun around quickly, the hair on the back of my neck prickled up.
I was surprised at what I saw. I sweet little girl, wearing a dark gray cloak stood before.
"Eh..." I couldn't think of anything to say.
"Follow me..." She said and turned around gracefully and started walking away. I was dumbfounded for a moment, but soon scrambled to catch up with her.
She led me into a sewer, which was very dirty, with rat crawling around every where. The smell was horrible too, but the girl seemed used to it.
The sewer slowly steeped up wards. She opened a white door that was made out of stone, and there was another tunnel, a cleaner one.
It continued on like this for a while. We then soon reached what looked like a waiting area. There were quiet a few people crowded around in there.
A small woman approached me. She looked so Innocent, she reminded me of my wife.
She was wearing a dross around her neck, and she began asking me things rapidly in a different language.
"I'm sorry ma'am...I don't understand..." I told her, she continued to talk to me.
The girl grabbed my hand and led me into another room. Details are a bit fuzzy...sorry...I wasn't looking at the room, I was looking at the three men sitting down in the middle of the room.
"Ah! So he's here...he's here!" A blacked haired man said, he leaped up, and almost floated over to me. I was started at his grace, for he seemed rather old to me.
"My name is Aro and you are....?" He strartled me again, by taking my hand.
"Moshi! How are you Moshi? This place makes you feel strange?"
I was very surprised, again. He could tell what I was thinking, before the words ever left my mouth.
"You came here for answeres. And we will give them to you." He said with a smile.
"Aro I must pro-" Another man from behind him said, but Aro cut him off with a wave of his had=nd.
"Yes...both you and you sister-in-law are part vampire. It really is quite interesting." Aro said.
"Also...Kira's parents..." He began.
Now I was thouroughly confused. I didn't want to know anything about Kira's parents.
"Were rather trouble some," He continued. ", we had to take care of the ourselves." He said almost darkly. It seemed to me, to be like a warning.
"Good day." Aro let go of my hand, and I left.
A few minutes later, I heard screaming from inside that room. the lady who had talked to me, her's seemed to be the loudest. I gritted my teeth.
---
When I got home, I visited Kira.
I looked at her daughter, and narrowed my eyes.
That little child...was a monster.
((Eeeehh, not my best, i admit. I was just bored...))
