Snow was nice, she decided as she trudged through the white powder. It hadn’t been where they had last lived, and although it was very wet, almost annoyingly so, it was a novelty, and while it was here, she was set out to enjoy it. She was going to act as though her life hadn’t changed, that she was still the same she had been before, no matter what happened. She would show Gabriel and Schatten that she could take care of herself---as well as get out of the house as often as she could. Sighing softly, Storm watched the white puff of air float away; her rich golden eyes dancing with amusement as she gently caught a snowflake on her hand. The park was a paradise of white, and with a childish grin, Storm spread out her arms and spun around, red brown hair flying around her as she did. Laughing softly, an almost musical sound, she suddenly tripped, falling into one of the deep snow banks, face down. Blinking against the sudden cold on her face, Storm picked herself up, shivering slightly, and giving a slight cough. Ugh, it seemed as though she was getting another cold, great. Schatten and Gabriel were already at each other’s throats as it was.
Plodding over to the first bench she saw, Storm drew her knees up to her chin, sighing softly as she watched the empty landscape. Those two were both so dominant, each trying to be the boss of each other, even Dad couldn’t control them. But then again, it wasn’t as though Dad had been the same after the incident. Everyone had changed; they were no longer the same happy family they had once been. With Schatten and Gabriel always trying to kill each other, her Mom desperate for any male attention, and her Dad almost in an ignorant state about everything, refusing to stop any fights that broke out, it wasn’t surprising that this was their third move this month. She couldn’t make friends, she always had to leave them behind, and she could never become too comfortable around anyone. Being alone might be easy for her twins, but it was unbearable for her. Angrily wiping away at the single hot tear that ran down her cheek, Storm bared her teeth for a moment, anger flaring to life for a moment, before another cough sent it away; leaving her feeling as empty as she had when she had first arrived here.
Quickly bounding off the bench, Storm set out on the somewhat frozen path, skirting the ice patches as she did so. Being new to an area sucked worse then being a new werewolf had been. She didn’t know if there were any other wolves around, and she had learned the hard way what happened if you invaded their territory, even by accident. Or maybe it had just been the group she had run into that had been like that, it was hard to tell. Whatever it had been though, it really didn’t matter, and almost without thought, she rubbed her arm. The scar was hidden by her thick, bright red parka, another reason she loved the winter months, you didn’t look like a freak if you wore long sleeves. The forest today, she noted, was peaceful, and aside from the crunch of her boots on the snow, there wasn’t a sound even her hearing could pick up. Maybe there really were no other wolves here after all; something she dreaded and hoped for. Storm didn’t want to be alone, but other wolves made her two brothers even worse, they had more scars then she did from various fights, and they were like her, only seventeen. Curse that male ego!
The patch of ice seemed to come out of nowhere; one moment she had been simply worrying about her family as usual, and the next, the slim seventeen year old found herself rapidly falling backwards, knowing as she did so that she wasn’t going to be able to catch herself in time. Gritting her teeth, Storm braced herself for the impact, knowing that it was going to hurt. [/blockquote]

10 years ago, he became a vampire. And through those ten years, he have grown to control himself when he's around town. But he still has a bit of trouble though. Jonathon was walking through town, on his day off. The snow was nice. He wore his usual red winter coat, which makes him easily seen. He rounded a corner when he saw a teenage girl about to fall. Reflexes taking over, he sped up and caught her before she fell. Then helped her to her feet. "Are you alright? You should really more careful where you walk with the snow on the ground."
((Bleh. I hope this works))

The feeling of falling was never something that she had ever enjoyed; it was the reason she had never been able to go on any of the roller-coasters that her brothers had always challenged each other too, seeing who could go the longest without barfing. How she had always watched enviously from the sidelines; but she had gone on one once, and that had put her out of the loop for the rest of the day. As she felt herself falling backwards, Storm felt her irrational fear grip her, making her soft golden eyes go wide, her face pale. She could only imagine what the sharp bite of pavement was going to feel like; it seemed as though this was in slow motion, each second ticking down another inch to the ground. She didn’t see her life lash before her eyes—but she wasn’t dying, and wasn’t that only supposed to happen to people who were dying? So, that was a good thing, right? Giving a shaky mental laugh, Storm forced her muscles to relax, knowing that a tight fall was only going to hurt more then it had too. Closing her eyes, Storm shut out the world, and let herself fall, suddenly deciding that she hated the snow.
To say that she was surprised when a pair of hands grabbed her right before she fell was an understatement; in fact, she was in a state of shock. Having been so focused on the fall, Storm hadn’t sensed the sudden presence of the person; she had thought she was all alone in the park! Her astonishment wasn’t lessened by her gratefulness though; thanks to the stranger who had caught her, she wasn’t going to have to suffer a nasty fall. Getting her feet back under her, the man’s smell suddenly caught her attention. It was…icy almost, cold in a way that wasn’t like the snow or ice, foreign to her senses. However, her wolf seemed to be excited about this presence, whatever it was, at the moment, it wasn’t a threat, and since he had just saved her, this…vampire, her wolf supplied, couldn’t be all bad, like the ones she had heard about from the other wolves, in the moments she had managed to sneak into a camp just to listen to the stories. Still though, it would be best to be wary; at least the mystery of how he got here so fast was solved. Turning around, Storm offered a slight smile, her quietness kicking in slightly.
”My inexperience with the stuff must be obvious.” Storm said in a joking tone as she shook her head, brushing her hair from her eyes. Maybe it was a good thing she had lived in warmer climates, they didn’t tend to be as hazardous. At least, she had never had a problem simply walking before. Casting a dark look at the ice and snow, Storm turned back to face the stranger, meeting his eyes without a flinch. From her stance, it told him that she was not a threat to him, but she was not going to be pushed over; it was painfully obvious that she was a true werewolf, not a shifter. The man had brown hair that seemed to be everywhere; though if that was from the wind of just a style it was hard to tell. His own eyes were a golden color as well; he was a, what did they call them? A…vegetarian vampire, a vampire that fed from game rather then humans? She hadn’t heard much of the story before she had been found, but it seemed as though he was fitting the description. Typical pale skin, though at this time of year, everyone was pale.
”Aside from my near casualty, which I thank you for preventing, I’m actually fine.” Storm said quietly, with a warm smile. The pack had said wolves were enemies with vampires, but why? Maybe she was just getting ahead of herself though, that would be typical. Still, her inexperience with everything paranormal bothered her to no end. ”Anyway, I’m Storm Wolfe, new resident. May I ask your name?” Storm said, curious about this stranger. After all, it wasn’t every day that you met something that you had only heard about; it was only the falling that was routine for Storm.
[I'm hoping I got his description right. ]

((Btw, Jonathon is me. I made myself a character here, XDD))
"Strom...That's a very interesting name. Anyway, I'm glad you're fine. And my name is Jonathon Gerrer. I've been living here in Tokyo for about ten years now." He looked at the girl, and over the ten years, he has come to recognize various smells. Including werewolves. But even though she was a werewolf, she did't really seem like one. She was more frail and lean than the ones he has incountered. "I don't mean to be rude, but are't you a little off balance to be a werewolf?"
((Bleh. And I hope I got her description right))

So, they were in Tokyo, interesting, they really had moved as far away as possible from where they had last been. What was even more interesting though, was that she could understand him, she never had taken any courses on Japanese. Maybe she just had a gift for languages now, considering she had lived in the USA all of her life. Ten years though, was not a long time. At least, not for the kind that wasn’t the same as humans; to humans, ten years never seemed to pass fast enough. Always wanting to do more, at least the kids, always wanting to get older, to be able to drive, it made Storm want to slap them, but at the same time, she was envious of them. They would age normally, she was stuck at seventeen. She wouldn’t ever be able to legally drive, drink, or anything else that were milestones that she had once looked forward too. They seemed like such petty things when she looked at them, but that didn’t stop the longing to be like everyone else for just a little while. ”Nice to meet you Jonathon.” Storm said, pleased that she knew more people then anyone else in their family yet; they had literally moved in last night.
Blinking against the snow that flew into her face, there was silence for a moment, leaving Storm to wander in her own thoughts. Just moved in, and already fighting. They wouldn’t be able to stay here long, but she liked this place! She had met something that she had only heard about, and it turned out at least he wasn’t as bad as the stories had made them seem. And if there was a vampire there, shouldn’t there be at least one werewolf pack? Maybe one that she could get accepted into, despite the fact she was somewhat dominant fearing, and that she couldn’t handle being around too many different wolves at the same time—it made her close up and go silent, just watching everything. To have a family, one that wasn’t a dysfunctional mess like hers was, it was nothing but a fleeting dream it seemed. To have a balanced power, to not have fighting all the time, it was the reoccurring fantasy. Maybe she could even get Gabriel to join with her; Schatten would never join a pack, even if he got to be alpha. He hated people and other wolves too much to put up with them.
It was as though he was a mind reader, in a sense. With the question, Storm felt herself drawn out of her repetitive thoughts, back into the real world. She was always worrying about what she couldn’t change; it was part of the reason she tended to be sick most of the time. ”Gee, thanks.” Storm commented dryly, snorting as she shook her head, before sighing softly. It seemed as though despite all her acting, she had always been good in drama, he had still seen through her thin guise. Crunching over to the bench, Storm sat down upon it, drawing her knees up and resting her chin on them. Her story wasn’t a pleasant one, and she wasn’t going to share it all with this stranger. ”My changing, like the rest of my family, wasn’t a pretty thing. He was struck with moon madness; we were out camping as a family. You can add up what happened. I supposedly got the worst of it, you see, he had a thing for girls; my mom and I shouldn’t even had come back, we were so bad. But lone behold, we all woke up the next morning as wolves. We’ve adapted since then, but everyone has changed for the worst it seems. Dad doesn’t pay attention to anyone, Mom is constantly making herself look like a…I’m not going to say it, and my two brothers are dominant enough to crush Dad’s will, so they constantly try to kill each other.
I don’t know what happened to me, but I never have seemed to have adjusted to being a wolf---as you can tell. Normal wolves don’t nearly fall from something as simple as ice.” Storm said quietly, not looking at Jonathon as she spoke, but rather, the wide open space of the park. ”Which is probably why I’ve been run out of every pack I’ve come across.” Storm said softly, more to herself than anything else. The freak of the werewolves, that was just great. It was her fault that Gabriel and Schatten were always fighting; dominants were so protective of submissive wolves, and her knack for messing up was more then enough to drive them off the edge, as well as anyone else who was protective of the less dominant.
She was like a walking time bomb; it wouldn’t be long until the next accident happened, and it would be all her fault.
[[xD I can't role-play myself for some reason, I can only give my characters similar personality traits. Such as Storm's reaction to being surrounded by too many people.]]

"Oh. Well...I don't what to say other than I'm sorry," Jonathon said, rubbing the back of his head. He just met her, and she just told him her life story. He felt bad for the girl. Her family was out camping and woke up as werewolves. The family is in ruin. She can't find a pack. Her brothers are trying to kill each other. And the parents....He didn't even want to think about that. "And I'm sorry if I was said anything mean to you."

”The past is past for a reason.” Storm said with a shrug, gold eyes calm as she simply watched everything. She longed to do something now; she had never been able to sit still for too long. However, with a distasteful glance at the ice, she had already learned what happened when she was outside in this snow. Tapping her gloved fingers against her arm almost absently, there were no real thoughts about how much she had revealed; Storm had always been one to tell it all, even if she had just met someone. That, combined with just who she was, tended to make people more than a little nervous around her and most conversations awkward. But, she had no trouble talking about what had happened to her; as she had said, the past was past for a reason. Why bother dwelling on something that you couldn’t change? This had happened for a reason, and one day, she would figure out why. For the moment though, she was just going to live through each day. Coughing into her arm for a moment, a bitter thought seemed to bubble on the edge of her mind; after all, she didn’t know how long she had in this world, even with her new ‘abilities.’
Blinking up at Jonathon, who was standing above her, Storm offered a faint smile, shaking her head slightly. ”It doesn’t bother me as much as it does the rest of my family, probably because I was the one who changed the least.” Why must her family be so depressing? Was it like that with everyone, or was it just her? Maybe she would go and explore the Reservation later on, just to watch the rest of the world. As a human or her wolf, that had yet to be decided, she would have a lesser chance of running off as a human, but she wouldn’t be able to protect herself against anything that meant to harm her. Oh well, anything was better then worrying about going to school tomorrow, if she chose, and having to worry about playing the social façade that everyone expected of her. Or dealing with the popular people, there were very few people that she could stand like that. Watching them as they tormented the weaker, it made her want to go up and punch them in the face, and she wasn’t usually a violent person, which was rather obvious to anyone who watched her for just a mere moment.
Suddenly, it seemed as though she just couldn’t sit still for a moment longer. Jumping up from the bench, managing to avoid the ice she noted happily, Storm looked over at the vampire, a grin on her face. It was time to stop worrying about what she couldn’t help, she needed a distraction from her thoughts, and since he had lived here for ten years, maybe he would know a good place to hang out and have some fun; he didn’t even need to go with her if he wanted, just point her out in the right direction. ”Now, you’ve been here for ten years, tell me, what is the main attraction here? Any amusement parks that you recommend or something like that?” Storm asked, golden eyes laced with excitement. Despite the fact she couldn’t ride most of the rides, she loved amusement parks; the food there was always great, and now maybe she could win a prize! Those little stuffed animals had always taunted her before; she hadn’t had the strength or patience to win one of them. Now though, she thought with a mental laugh, they didn’t stand a chance. Unless of course, it turned out she still sucked at the games, which was possible.
The snow though, had started to fall harder. It looked as though there was going to be a blizzard soon, not that she would know that. Living in the warm climates had hindered her worthless at this time of year. Blizzard or not though, there was no doubting the determination in Storm’s gaze as she surveyed the park, looking for any hint of excitement, or a pathway to somewhere. She still had daylight hours to burn, and she was going to make the most of the day, no matter what the weather decided to throw at her.

Jonathon put his hand to his chin, and thought for a few moments. "Well, most amusement parks are closed due to the snow. But I do know of a arcade a few blocks down. Or the movies about five blocks that way," he said pointing to his left. He nodded a good bye and turned to walk away," have a good day Storm. And remember to watch out for ice patches," he said jokingly.
((Suggestion: maybe Storm runs into gang trouble and bumps into Jon while running away?))

So it seemed as though she was limited to either the Arcade or the movies…She had never been good at Video games, so it looked as though it was going to be the movie theaters after all. Good thing she always brought about twenty dollars with her when she went out; ticket prices were always so expensive, and if you were going to see a movie, then you had to buy popcorn, nobody saw a movie without popcorn. Nodding her thanks, Storm grinned slightly as she watched him leave. Yes, those ice patches were more dangerous then anything else she had run into today so far, which totaled to about three people and a vampire so far, thankfully none of which had been hostile. Maybe it was because she was obviously new; she probably looked like a tourist. Blinking the snow out of her eyes, Storm walked in the direction that Jonathon had pointed, her gait a loping walk that could cover many miles in a short time, but not one that she could keep up for too long. It was getting harder and harder to see the thin path that she had chosen though, and quite a few times, she had had to rely upon her other senses to know she was on the right path.
As the wind shifted, it brought the smell of popcorn, and Storm had to suppress another grin; it seemed as though she was in a good mood today. Taking a deep breath, and ignoring the snowflakes that pelted her face, she followed the smell, not sure what a movie theater looked like here; but there was very few ways to mess up the smell of Movie Theater popcorn. Trudging through the snow, Storm was unaware of the group that was following her, waiting for the pretty girl to stop. As the big yellow building came into sight, it turned out she was at the back of the building, Storm allowed herself a grin. She had arrived, and she hadn’t slipped on any ice patches! Hah! Maybe she was improving her skills in this weather after all. Gently brushing her fingers on the semi-frozen wall of the building, a sudden ‘crunch’ sound of a foot going through the snow broke the silence. Breath catching in the back of her throat, Storm whirled around, not sure why she was so fearful. What she saw was something though, that made her press her back against the wall, trying to get as far away from them as possible.
There were about six of them, all in masks. They all wore the color blue, and they all held what looked like knives. Glittering in their eyes was cold anticipation, and with a sudden dropping feeling, Storm knew what they wanted to do. Panic consumed her, and with that, her wolf broke free, her eyes narrowing more so, growing colder, more like the creature she was then the light and seemingly innocent gaze that she usually carried. ”What are you doing here all alone? This isn’t a safe part of town, you could get hurt.” False sincerity dripped from the man’s voice who spoke, it was evident that he was their leader, just from the way everyone stood behind him. As he stepped forward, hands spread out in a gesture that was well known to Storm, a low growl came from the back of her throat. Oddly enough, it only made him smile that much more. ”Ah now, come on, don’t be like that.” He said soothingly, but he couldn’t hide the malice, the intent, that was in his smell. It was overpowering, and made Storm want to gag. He was a pro in this, his scent told her. And he wanted her.
Breath coming quickly, pressed against the wall, Storm didn’t know what to do. She couldn’t change, that process took more moments then she had. They were all pressing around her now, surrounding her, their voices calling out words that she didn’t want to hear. She couldn’t focus on them though, only on the one that was the alpha of the group. There was something wrong with him, he wasn’t mentally sound, that was all she could tell. Heart beating quickly, it seemed as though there was going to be no escape for her; she was going to have to fight them. But what did she have? They all had knives, and who knew what else for weapons, all she had was her fists and the ability to change into wolf form…Maybe if she surprised them, she would be able to get away without resorting to any of that… ”If-if you’ll back up please, I won’t fight.” Storm pleaded, eyes brimming with tears. Her voice had gone up in pitch, as it did when she was stressed, and every instinct in her body was telling her to run. Slowly, the group backed up, leaving only the leader there, his anticipation obvious.
”There we go. Now, was that so hard?” The leader asked, his voice a purr. Stepping forward, he gently caressed her under the chin; his breath was foul, before stepping back, laughing softly. ”The best part is when they feel the fear you’re feeling. Don’t worry. It won’t hurt anymore then it has to.” He said, grinning a hauntingly crooked smile at her. There was no doubting the pleasure in his tone; he liked what he was about to do. Eyes closing, Storm was about to make herself oblivious to everything, when a savage snarl sounded from behind her. Eyes flaring open just in time to see a large wolf, though it was obvious he was built for speed not strength, jump onto the leader, knocking him down before the other members could even react. The dark red streaks that shimmered as the light hit them told her who it was; Schatten had found her. ”Run! He growled, though how she knew what he said was beyond her. Without even hesitating, Storm dashed by the rest of the group as they ran to take on the wolf, unaware that he could and probably would kill them all as soon as they got in range.
There was no doubt in her mind that her brother would be OK, and that was the only reason why she ran. He could take care of himself, as he had taught her many years ago, and it only made him angry when she worried about him, or got in the way trying to ‘help’ him. She didn’t know which way she was going, the snow was blinding her, but it didn’t matter. The familiar smell of tree was the only thing she needed to guide her. Deeper and deeper she ran into the forest, slipping several times on ice patches and slicing open her clothing, but thankfully, not her skin. The smell of panic and fear was sharp on her; anyone could feel her wild emotions as well as smell them; friend or foe. Here though, if she needed it, Storm could shift easily, so she didn’t worry about running into anything, or anyone; her attention was focused on just getting away. The snow fell harder, blinding her as she ran, and before long, her boot connected with a fallen branch, tripping her, and sending her head first into a snow bank, which pretty much consumed her whole body it was so big.
Shivering, Storm sat up from the snow bank, stiffening as she heard someone approach, to wound up to figure out who it was.

Jonathon, now wearing his hood over his head, was walking in the direction of forest. He was exploring the city and the forest, since most of the past ten years was spent training to control the erge to attack anything with blood in it or on it. Plus this was his first day off from work since four months ago. He stopped when he noticced Storm's scent again. But, didn't she go to the movie theater or something? He followed the scent until he saw her. Bur was blurred by the snow that was blowing hard. He truded through the snow and stopped when she was only a few feet away. "Hey Storm. Weren't you...." he stopped mid-sentence when he saw that some of her clothing was ripped. "Storm, are you okay? What happened," he asked in a surprised and worried tone.

Though she had not been touched explicitly by those who had shown up unexpectedly, it felt as though her skin was crawling with dirt; just their scents alone had made her feel as though she needed a bath. Especially his scent, the one who had dared to come so close to her. He, he had been someone that shouldn’t even exist in nightmares. The others, they hadn’t been as bad as he had, they had almost been human. It was almost as though they didn’t want to do it, that they felt some type of guilt for what they did. Had they been humans, those things that had come up to her? It was impossible to tell, she did not know the scent of everything that lived around here, she didn’t know what to expect until she accidentally ran into it. She was weak, she was helpless….just as she always had been. Looking behind her from within the snow bank, with no want to move, Storm thought of the rest of her family. They were all wolves, they could fight, and they didn’t have a problem with what they were. Maybe that was her problem; all along she had thought she hadn’t changed. Maybe in the end, change was what was required for this…
The footsteps crunching against the snow warned her of the other’s presence before the scent of who it was could filter to her mind. Whirling around, and using the agility that proved her previous falls wrong, Storm flipped out of the snow bank, her normally calm golden eyes wolf-like, intent on who was speaking, seeing without seeing. With a deft twist, she landed lightly on the fallen tree a few feet back from who had spoken, a snarl drawn on her lips, leaning forward with one hand bearing most of her weight on the tree, the other held in a half fist, a fighting stance. Maybe it had been her problem before that she couldn’t, that she wouldn’t, fight. But having to deal with that, it had knocked out Storm herself, leaving her wolf in control. And her wolf was not one who was going to sit around looking pretty and get attacked. She would regret things in the future, Storm would, but for the moment, it was time just to get through each fleeting moment, to fight while she still could, despite all the odds, be them in or out of her favor. Breath coming out in small white puffs, looking quite intimidating surprisingly, Storm stared at the vampire for a few moments.
Slowly, his words registered in her mind, the tone, the scent. As those things came to her, flashing by in her mind like a gust of wind, Storm slowly let her gaze focus in, seeing not an enemy, but the vampire she had met in the park earlier today. Ever so steadily, Storm came back to herself, losing her snarl, and her defensive stance. In a blink of an eye, she went from wolf to human once more, though there was still an edge to her, a wild thing that promised something dark to whoever decided to push it with her. However, as her wolf left; fading into the background, the memory of what happened filled her mind, causing an all over shudder. Suddenly dropping eye contact with the vampire, he had said his name was Jonathon; Storm spoke in a hoarse voice. ”I was at the movie theater…They came up behind me. Such nasty thoughts, such nasty smells. Especially from him, the leader. Their intent was obvious. I could feel the filth in their minds just from their scents. Thought I was done for. Scared me, they wanted to do…private…things to me. Schatten came. Told me to run. I ran. He’ll deal with them, kill them all for me. Now I must keep running.” Storm muttered softly, voice distracted.
And then it all became clear to her. Looking up at the vampire, she offered a very pained smile. ”Until we meet again, hopefully on better circumstances.” Storm whispered. There was almost a broken part in her gaze, as though something had been wronged that wasn’t going to be set right. With one last look at the vampire, Storm turned and dashed into the forest, going from human to wolf faster than she ever had before, but then again, she’d never had this urgency to change before. Her wolf looked a lot like her brother’s, but instead of the shimmering red streaks, Storm bore streaks a dark violet color, glinting as she ran through the forest on the sunlight that shone even through the blizzard.
To get away, that was all that she had to do. She had to get home, away from everyone, she had to get away. Schatten was already home, she could sense it; and thankfully he had no major wounds.
