Blake was walking back to his appartment, he was wearing a long sleeve shirt and black biker gloves. He waited for the cross walk light to turn green. When it did, he started to croos the street. But, some idiot, possibly drunk, didn't stop. There was a screeh of tires, Blake was hit, he yelled in pain, and fell to the ground. He had a large gash on his fore head, his right arm was broken, and he cracked a few ribs. Some one ran up to Blake, seeing if she could keep him awake for the ambulance. "Someone call 911, quickly!"

((xD Just a tip for the future. Maybe be more descriptive with surroundings, say what he was thinking at the time, what was going on, where was he going? Just ideas to make other beginning posts longer. =D))
An ambulance came and picked Blake up, and then took him into the hospital. they put him in the ER, just to make sure no serious damage had been done.
Of course, House didn't come in, even though he was supposed to. To him, the case was boring. So a guy got hit by a car. Nothing unusual about that. Boring. So he sent Tadao instead.
Tadao entered with a few charts. People had already run X-rays on him. He took long strides to the patient's bed and looked at him from behind. He couldn't see the kid's face, so he asked, "Are you conscious?"

Blake mumbled, but he couldn't be understood. He was barely conscious.
((=shrugs= XDDDD, wait til House hears about Blakes armor arm.))

Tadao sighed. He figured he might have to wait a while. He wasn't like House. He wouldn't just shake the kid awake. He sat down and opened a book he'd been carrying around along with his clip board. It helped to have a book, sometimes. He opened it, glancing up ever few moments.
((Just have him wake up. You can like... skip a little bit of time or something. LoL))

After a few minutes, Blake opened his eyes and sat up, "ohhh, what happened?" He then grabbed his ribs, they hurt. "Ow."

Tadao gave him a sort of smile that wasn't exactly happy. Almost like he felt bad for the younger boy, but not quite that, either.
"Good, you're awake. We're going to run some x-rays, to see which bones were broken. Do you remember what happened?" He asked Blake.

Blake laid back down, siting up hurt his ribs, and replied," I think a car hit me."

"Right," Tadao said. No memory loss, which was good, considering he'd hit his head. "It's best that you move as little as possible," he added. "I'm going to roll you out of here on the cot you're laying on," he said, standing and walking around to the back of Blake's cot and gently pushing it forward. The boy hadn't needed any I.V.s hooked up to him, which helped a lot.
They got to the X-ray room.
"Are you wearing any sort of jewelry, or anything like that?" He asked, looking Blake up and down. He had to be sure. Boys wore jewelry too, sometimes.

"No jewelry," Blake replied, he didn't wear jewelry, unless you count the chain bracelet he wears very now and then. But he wasn't wearing it today.
((Want happens when metal gets Xrayed? And should Blake say that he has an armor arm now, or later, if now, I'll modify.))

((It would block out anything in that arm, and it would just be like... solid... gray or black, I think. =D they can find out when they do the X-rays.))
Tadao left the room to get behind the glass and started operating the X-ray machine. He took pictures of the full body, then zoomed in in other places. Then he got the prints and began to examine them after he'd rolled Blake back to his hospital room.
"Oh my...." Tadao mumbled, not finishing the sentence, cutting himself off. "Your arm... what the... Blake-san, roll up your left sleeve..." he instructed.
((It WAS the left arm, right? If not, pretend I said right.))

Blake hesitated, but did as instructed. He rolled up his left sleeve, and his armor arm was revealed.

"How in he**...?" Tadao murmured, eyes a little wide. He was trying to figure out how he could explain this to House. The doctor would certainly find out. He shook his head. He'd think of something reasonable to say to House later. Right now, he'd better ask why.
"Mm, is the armor on your arm, or is it... replacing it?" He asked, back to a more composed demeanor.

Blake nodded. He took off his shirt, revealing his entire arm. At the shoulder, it looked like the armor grew into his skin. The shiny vain-like metal grew abit across his shoulder, and branched out under his skin. "It's to replace the one I lost in a fight."

"Is there any sort of technology, or is it... something else?" Tadao asked. 'Something else' would be something not explained by logical reasoning. Of course, he knew about vampires and shifters and such. Even a little about Fae. Very little, though.

Blake simply took off the armor arm. The arm went limb. He showed the inside of the arm, it was completely hollow.

Tadao's eyes got wide again, and he barely managed to compose himself.
"Heh, and I'd thought I'd seen everything. G*d, how do you expect to explain it to other people?" He asked. Surely this was something the boy would want to keep a secret....

Tadao frowned. "Haven't you ever thought about the trouble that could cause? People who don't know about... preternatural creatures would be trying to figure out how that would be possible." He knew House would feel he just HAD to figure it out...

Tadao nodded. He still felt that the boy should have some sort of story to hide this. Sure, the kid didn't turn into an animal like Tadao used to, but still...
He just shrugged it off for now and looked at the x-ray scans.
"You've got a broken rib or two," he told the boy. "Your left foot is sprained. Your skull doesn't seem to be damaged..." He examined the scans a little longer.
"You got out of that without any permanent damage. I suggest you stay overnight with us, though, just in case. You could have brain damage, with how hard you hit your head, so we want to be sure," he said.
