Shade had been walking around the small apartment, trying to build back some strength in her legs. She had pretty much did nothing but lay there in a hole for several months, so she was pretty weak. She was begining to recall things and people, and she even managed to say a couple of things.
The girl walked into the kitchenette, and saw the blonder haired woman there. Zenri was her name? She was also begining to trust this woman as well.
Shade walkde completely in.
"... Hello, Zenri." She said softly, her childlike voice ringing out clearly from her mouth. Her words weren't muffled or hard to understand like a childs. They just had a soft tone to them.
She smiled slightly at the accomplishment.

Zenri looked over at Shade, catching the slight smile the girl had. She smiled slightly herself. Then wondered if Lee would be in any time soon... Then she glanced off to the side only to return her gaze to Shade.
"Hey Shade." She greeted the girl as well.

Shade was once again silent. She didn't know what to say anywqays, if she could say something. She just smiled again at Zenri and went to go stand next to her.
She opened her mouth, as if to speak, but no words came out, so she shut it again. They were at the tip of her tounge, and it made her agitated that she couldn't find them buried down in her memory. Just one simple question, and she couldn't say it.
But she tried again.
"Dad..." She couldn't think og anything past this, she furrowed her brow and creases appeared on her bronzed forehead. She wanted to now where he was, and when he would be back. She wanted to show off the amazing feat to him. But now she was discouraged again because she couldn't find the words to say so.

Zenri watched the girl as she struggled to think of what to say. Or say it. She nodded slightly as Shade said dad, but tilted her head when the girl didn't go any further with the words. The part Fae had been trying lately not to prod peoples minds in order to find answers, which also included now. So she was just trying to guess. Then again, maybe Shade would rather say what she needed, or wanted, whichever, to know.
So she stuck with a gentle, "what is it, Shade?" Her and Lee had been watching the formerly dead girl, and she seemed to be improving in mood. Shade actually seemed a bit happier. Less... Afraid. Recently Zenri had went to get her the same thing she had helped Lee get, a new identity. With this, the girl could go out without making people wonder... For the most part. The grave was a problem though.

Shade sighed.
"... I need to know... where?" She asked, hoping that it made sence though she was sure that it probably didn't. She still couldn't find the words, though she felt closer to it. Shade wasn't too happy about having to take 'baby-steps' to recovery. In fact, she was rather impatient about the whole thing.

Zenri nodded slightly. She understood, really it didn't take too much for a mind reader to get. "I'm not quite sure where he is. I think he'll be back soon though." She replied, answering the girls question.

Shade nodded once.
"... Th.... thank...s..." She said slowly, concentrating to get the words outs. Ugh. This was so embarrasing. Having to talk like a little kid because she forgot how to.

Dispite the words, Shade blushed and bowed her head bashfully. Though she was smiling slightly, which told her that she wasn't too embarrased.
It was odd, how this woman she didn't know was dating her father, and already she had warmed up to her like a mother. Sure, she missed Hatori and her real mom. And of course he children. She hadn't even seen her newest one. Was it a boy or a girl? Shade didn't know. What did Tadao name... it? She didn't even know how to adress it.
Tadao. That was another person she missed. She missed him greatly. She missed his smile and his smell and his laugh. She looked almost saddened for a moment.
Shade forced happier thoughts into her mind. She was thinking, since she's still eighteen, she might just live here untill she can find a more permanent. At least a good college she can go to, even if it has to be a community college. Though that would be hard, because acording to her records, she was dead. And the college would want to look at those for her grades.

Zenri smiled again at the girl. Her thoughts. It was interesting. Though she withdrew, since it was probably best to do that. She didn't want to be in peoples heads unless it was needed. Though after years of it, it was hard not to be at least a little curious. Especially about the girl who couldn't quite speak yet. Though she did catch the fact that the girl was missing her family.
"You don't have to be stuck here all day. If you want to go see your family, we can." She suggested.
((She can always say no, it was a random idea to keep the thread going. LoL.))

Shade thought about that for a moment. Then shook her head no. She was still afraid of large crowds of people and both sides of her family, The Sohma and the Arata/Sato were pretty huge. She would probably freak out.
"Wait." She said. "... Untill I'm better." She said. One of her few full sentences. She grinned slightly, even though the words were small and simple, it was still a full sentence and an acomplishment for her.

Shade nodded.
The door opened, and a man stepped in, who's hair was damp from the light rain that was dancing outside.
"Hello there, girlies." He greeted them in his usual manner, grinning from ear to ear as he walked over to them, with some food for Shade and other products.
"How ya doin'?" He asked Shade, but if she couldn't asnwer, she was sure Zenri would for him.

With a glance at Shade, Zenri replied, "Good." It was a simple answer, but that was it. She could tell from earlier that Shade had plenty of good thoughts, better then before for sure.

Lee grinned.
"Good." He said, looking over at his daughter. He ruffled the top of her head, moving the long black locks into disarry.
Shade playfully glared at him and fixed it, her face streaching into a smile.
