Lee nodded once.
"So what was your mother like?" He asked, his own mother had died when he was young and his father had disowned him and his two olde brothers. He lived with them untill one had died and the other left.

Zenri shrugged. "She was fairly nice. At least, she understood the whole mind reading thing better then dad." She replied answering his question. The woman wandered out of the apartment building now; with Lee. It was a nice day, though it was starting to look and feel more like fall.

Zenri shrugged again. "He was... A dad." She said blinking. "There's not really much to say. He was Japanese, mom had the German." The woman added.

Lee nodded once.
"My mother died when I was young an my father disowned me." He said simply. "I wanted to know what real parents act like..." He felt childish and stupid for saying that, but he really did want to know...

Zenri glanced back up at him. "Mm... That has to suck." She murmured. Finding that she had to be lucky; having normal parents. Well, normal being the run of the mill your in trouble when you are and praised when needed.

Zenri nodded slightly. He was so nonchalant about it. It wasn't hard to tell he had gotten over it. "Alright." She said. "You still contact any of your family?" She asked looking back up at him.

"My son." Lee said. "From time to time I see my daughter..." He said, then scanned down the street. He chuckled.
"Speak of the devil. There she is." He said, pointing his finger to a blacked haired girl in the crowd.

"Ah..." Zenri looked to where he pointed and nodded slightly.
"Lets go say hi." She said looking glancing back at him.

Lee grinned. "Alright." He said. He took Zenri's hand and led her to the girl, who was presently leaning against a metal pole, just observing.
"Shade!" He called out. The girl's head snapped in the direction of her name being called, and her dark face stretched into a large smile.
"Dad!" She said, jumping up and tackling him in a huge hug.

Zenri smiled slightly as the girl hugged her father. She was careful to keep her mind mostly to herself. Like Emeric had been teaching her. Though around Lee she could simply focus on his mind, since she couldn't read the vampires mind.
((I don't think Zenri would speak at this point... XD))

"Dad, who's this girl?" Shade asked, letting go her father to give Zenri the 'evil inspector eye'. It was the look that she gave machines that didn't want to fix
"Eh, Shade, this is Zenri. Zenri, Shade." He introduced the girls.

"Hi." Zenri said smiling slightly and giving a slight wave. She wondered vaguely what else Shade used that look for. It was pretty effective in making her... Just a little uncomfortable. Now she could tell Shade wasn't human, Fae or vampire. Her thoughts were more animal like. So... A werewolf?
"We were just talking about you." She said lightly, just to add to the conversation.

Shade nodded once, slowly, still inspecting Zenri.
"Ooh really?" She aske, lifting one eyebrow. Lee gave her a chiding look.
"Be nice, Shade." He told her.

Zenri glanced at Lee as he spoke then back at Shade. She smiled slightly and nodded.
"Heh, yes..." She said trailing off. The woman hadn't exactly expected the tense situation. And she couldn't really think of anything to say at this point.

"Girlfriend." Zenri replied simply. Being mostly human she didn't really think anything of looking the girl in the eyes. Then realizing that if this girl was a werewolf she would have instincts like a wolf. So she averted her gaze, since she remember how werewolves were with challenges and such.
"For quite a while actually..." She added trailing off.

"Oh... okay." Shade somehowed seemed a bit dissapointed. But she shook it off quickly. "Nice to meet ya." Shade said.
Lee seemed a bit tense at first, but after feeling and seeing Shade's emotion changed her calmed down.

Zenri smiled. "Likewise." She said. Where exactly had the disappointment come from? It confused the half Fae a bit but she pushed it away as Shade had shook it off.
