"Whether you were hungry or not." Zenri replied laughing a bit. "But I am curious... How long have you been painting?" She asked turning slightly to look back up at the mural.

Lee laughed. "It doesn't matter to me. I'm a vampire. I don't eat regular food." He said. He looked up at the mural with her.
"I don't exactly remember how old I was when I started painting. Kira always told me I was born with a paintbrush in my hands..." He trailed off at the mention of Kira's name.

Zenri looked back up at Lee. "Who is Kira?" Hadn't she heard that name before? She thought for a moment and came up with Lawliet's sister. Lawliet from the police station. The detective, that guy. He had odd thoughts...
"Lawliet's sister?" She added thoughtfully.

Lee nodded.
"My... ex-wife, I suppose." Lee said with a slight shrug. "I disappeared one night and left her all alone. I guess I still feel guilty about it, even though she's remarried now with three kids with that guy." Lee said. He considered Shade to be 'his' kid.

Zenri blinked. Still looking up at the taller man. She tilted her head slightly unsure of what exactly to say. "Why exactly... Did you disappear?" The woman asked glancing down for a moment.

"There was a car accident that was supposed to be fatal. My youngest son died in it and my oldest son dissapeared as well. That's the night I was changed. But there was really no way I could have survived that crash if I wasn't half something else so it was just eaiser to hide." Lee shrugged.

Zenri nodded slightly. "Okay..." She said trailing off; thinking. It was easier to think around Lee. Since she didn't have to worry about keeping her mental shields up.
((Maybe they could go for a walk and run into Shade or Kira? XD))

Zenri nodded slightly. His family sounded complicated. She put an arm around his waist and leaned slightly on him looking over at the wall.
"Want to go for a walk?" She asked looking back up at him.

"My family?" Zenri said looking up at him and laughing a bit as she walked with him. "As far as I know they've all gone crazy from the mind reading; at least the ones that can..." She said trailing off. Thinking for a moment she went on. "Anyway, it runs in my... Mothers side I think. Because she is all Fae. Emeric is my half brother and is a lot older then he looks." The woman stated laughing a bit. "My father on the other hand is dead. To me I'm not sure how." She said shrugging. Her father had been normal. Perhaps a little less then what she would have liked but he wasn't abusive or anything. And for a while her mother was around. That is, till she was sixteen. Then her mother left. She'd met her brother here in Japan; where she had lived for her whole life while Emeric had traveled here because he had thought his mother was here.
