The scents were all so... amazing! And... well, delicious. Brittney was in the park. She was glad she was full. Jade was off hunting with Azriel. Though, Brittney didn't understand why. They'd both been hunting with the other vampire last night, and she was too full to eat. She'd never been one to have a big appetite. She was usually underweight and dehydrated. She remembered Jade forcing her to drink a huge cup of water, because she was concerned. She smiled to herself and stared at anything that wasn't a person. That was the best way to keep herself from getting too into the smell of the humans. It was really intoxicating. She watched a butterfly, because it was amazing to watch it with her new eyesight.
Her eyes wandered, and she walked around aimlessly, wandering around in an area of the park with more trees. Maybe she'd run by the house where her family lived and peek in, just to see how they were... Oh, she missed Illy. She missed even Felicity. She sighed to herself, and stopped walking, watching the butterfly flutter away.
Then, she realized she'd stopped right in front of some... well, a guy. A cute one, at that.
She would have been blushing. "Er, hi..." she mumbled.

Night looked up calmly. The adopted Arata was actually quite use to random things so he did not view this as weird. He lived with a man that spouted out absurd ideas and leapt about. What he thought was normal was incrediably weird for others.
"Hello." He said smoothly. He ran a hand through his light blonde hair. "Do I know you?"

Brittney shook her head.
"No," she replied. "We don't know each other. I was just distracted," she said truthfully. She sighed and thought. She felt the venom in her mouth. His scent was nice... she was shocked she was able to refrain from biting him.
"Um, I'm Brittney," she said absently.

"Night." The blonde haired boy said. Gaku had told him many ways to 'get' a woman like this, thought Night wasn't really interesting in such deceiving ways to make a woman fall in love with you. He figured if he just was himself then if the woman liked him, she liked him.
Sadly, when he was being himself, he was very odd.
"Do you come here often?" He asked, well, at least right now he sounded normal.

"Not really," Brittney replied. She'd always had to watch her sibblings. And now she was often wary of being around other humans... being a vampire was still a shock to her, and sometimes she just wanted to hate Azriel for changing her into this. But she didn't hate him, because Jade loved him, and he loved her, and, well, she decided that she would be okay. She was used to toughing it. Like when she was little and her dad kept getting sent to jail for things he hadn't done. G*d, she hated her biological mother for doing that to him.
"Do you?" She asked him.

"That's cool," Brittney said, trying on a smile. She pulled her long dark brown hair out of it's braid, putting the rubber bands that had been holding the hair around her wrist and running her fingers through her now wavy locks.
"I do too," she added, still messing with her hair. "Oh, by the way, I really like your name. It makes me think of my favorite character in one of the books I read." She mentally swooned when she thought of Erik Night, a character in the House of Night series. But this Night guy looked nothing like Erik, who had sleek black hair, and icy blue eyes. No way. But still... he looked cute, she had to admit.
((Bleh, we need to have something happen. Who does Night live with again? XD))

Night watched her mess with her thick, wavy hair.
"Wanna walk with me?" He asked her suddenly, tilting his head at the girl.

"Same," Brittney replied. She grinned a bit.
"Oh, by the way, some of my friends call me BLT, Britt, Beaver, and even, to tease me... Night." She laughed a little. Usually she didn't share her nicknames. Beaver and 'Night' were more embarrassing ones. Her brother Micheal called her Beaver, and Jade had awarded her the nickname Night because of her obsession over Eric Night.

"They're cute... Beaver." He told her, the smallest of smirks dancing on his face. He wasn't being mean, just playing with her.

Brittney glared at him. But it wasn't exactly an angry one.
"Even my best friend hardly gets away with that without me yelling at her," she said, half joking. Jade rarely called her 'Beaver,' but instead Kairi, because it was prettier and Jade loved speaking the Japanese that she knew. Brittney stuck her tongue out at Night, crossing her arms over her chest as she walked with him. She gave him a smile, showing him her two front teeth on the top, the reason why she was called Beaver. Even as a vampire, that hadn't quite changed. She was glad.

Brittney smirked. "Anything but Beaver... or... err, Night, since that's your name and it'd be weird. Anyway, you could basically call me BLT or Britt... or Sandwich, or just Brittney," she said, shrugging her shoulders. She glanced around and wondered if Jade ad Azriel were still hunting.
