Leaving your past is hard. It's never an easy thing to do. No matter how bad, it seems to stick with you. Especially when it seems to follow you around. Raven was walking along the streets. She needed to get away from the pack in general. She didn't mind Keiji, she just wanted time to go and think. For no really reason... It was kind of nice to get out though. Even though she wasn't as used to the streets as she had been. The girl slipped around a group of people talking and chatting, teens. She wondered what it would have been like if she'd never been turned into a werewolf. Who knows? ((Bleh...))

One of the boys from the group, seemingly the center of attention at that moment, stopped talking when she passed by. Kaori? Was it really her? He hadn't seen her for three years!
"Hey guys, I'm gonna go, 'kay? See ya'll later." Yes, he had a bit of an Okie accent. He'd lived in Tulsa for a long time before he'd moved to Japan with his dad.
The others called 'okay's and 'bye Heath's to him, and he gave them all a goofy grin, then sprinted in the direction Raven had gone. He caught up to her.
"Kaori!" he exclaimed, grabbing her arm. He wasn't breathing hard or anything. He was really good when it came to running and strength and all that.

Raven was surprised at being called to and even more so when her arm was grabbed. Turning and looking at Heath she was rather confused. Since she couldn't remember him. "Er, Raven." She corrected. Since she was no longer used to being called Kaori. Now, he had to be from somewhere... No. He must be mistaken.

"Okay. Raven then. Whatever. Cool new name. G*d, I haven't seen you in forever. Where've you been?" he asked, wrapping an arm around Raven's shoulders and pulling her closer to him. He was extremely tall and muscular. "We really need to start catching up."

Raven shook her head slightly, pulling away. "Okay, wait, If I did know you I don't remember you." She stated looking back at him. Besides, having someone pull her in like that, aside from Keiji or maybe Flight, bothered her. Especially when they spoke like they'd never been apart, or only for a short time.

Heath frowned. "How could you not remember me? I was your boyfriend, Ka-- Raven." He stared at her confusedly. The teenager had a puppy-like look to him with his big eyes and curly hair. Now it was more of a lost-puppy look.

Raven stared back. It was a slightly odd look though. A mix between harsh and simply confused. Why did he insist this? And boyfriend? She didn't remember any of this! Why couldn't she? The werewolf was so confused. So very confused. It was not something she was liking. Though things rarely made sense to her. This was just... It wasn't right. "I don't." She stated rather quietly. At least he was simply an ex-boyfriend. Since she had Keiji now. "W-What's your name?" She questioned carefully.

"Heath," he told her, looking worried. "Why don't you remember me? We were dating before you disappeared." He smiled at her hopefully, and stopped wrapping his arm around her shoulders. He took her hand instead and squeezed it. "C'mon, Raven. You've gotta remember."

Heath... Raven still didn't recall him. Especially not dating him. Because of this she pulled her hand back and held both behind her back. Staring at him with her amber eyes. Maybe it had something to do with the transformation. It was a confusing thing to her. "I only remember leaving because I didn't like being around my aunt." Though she could remember why her parents had left her there.

Heath frowned. "You shoulda come to me, then. I'm sure it was a downer, but I was definitely around," he told her, not registering the 'I only remember' part. Yeah, he was kind of dense. But he was also a gentleman and kind and sweet.

"I don't know what I was thinking." Raven replied. She was rather aggravated that she either couldn't remember, or she was talking to a crazy person. The girl had completely covered pretty much all of her past before she was changed with false memories. Memories made up to covered things that would harm her. Though she didn't know that. All she knew was that she had a lot of holes in her memory. "There's a lot of things I don't recall."

Heath frowned. Then he brightened again with a sudden idea. "Well, why don't I treat ya to some lunch, and maybe while we talk I can help you remember."

Raven wasn't so sure. If this really was an ex boyfriend, then should she be hanging out with him when she had Keiji? Though she didn't think it would hurt to just have lunch with him. "Okay..." She said carefully. "That's fine I suppose." The girl added.

Heath grinned. "All right. Feel like going to the terriyaki grill? Or maybe just a burger place..." He gave her a crooked, dopey smile and waited for her to answer.

His smile made her smile, just slightly though. She was still wondering about the whole thing. Why were her memories so messed up? "Burger place works." She replied simply.
((*head desk* Should they run into Keiji after a while? LoL.))

"That's what I expected," Heath said proudly.
((Sure. ^.^ Bleh, my post was bad. They'll just magiacally poof there, and then Keiji'll walk in.))

((Sure. XD Hmmm... I don't know if Heath would try to kiss her or not, but that would be an interesting thing. Like, she can pull away and maybe freak a bit, but tell him she has a bf and such. But not with Keiji seeing the attempted kiss or anything... So if that works then we can do that instead of skipping the walk. Maybe she leaves after, and out of curiosity he follows to try and talk to her a bit more. Then he meets Keiji. *has been thinking about this plot for a while* XD ))

((Oh, that works. Heath wouldn't be one to just kiss her, though. He understands she doesn't remember. He'd probably give her a quick kiss on the cheek. But that'd be about it.))
Soon, they showed up at the burger place. They also had fried chicken, and so he ordered that for him and a large order of fries, along with a large Pepsi. Then he let Raven order.
After they'd both ordered and gotten their food, he led her to a table and sat down. He had even pulled out her chair for her, as if this was some special restaurant. He'd been raised right, that was for sure.
"So, what've you been up to? Where did you go?"

((That works just as well. LoL. She'd still be a little 0.o 'dude I have a boyfriend'. XD Maybe not exactly that but... Yeah... LoL.))
"Nothing really. But I went to a lot of different places. Bandit and Flight pretty much adopted me into their little group... It's kind of hard to explain everything." Raven stated. It really was though. At least, without mentioning werewolves, it was hard.
"What about you?" She added the question; sort of in a way to drive attention away from her.

"Bandit and Flight?" Heath asked. But then he basically shrugged it off for now.
"I haven't really been doing much. Mainly trying harder at keeping up my grades so I can stay on the football team," he replied with a shrug. "It's been really boring. I've dated a couple other girls, but none of them were as great as you. I spent a lot of time missing you, Raven." He smiled at her, then hesitantly leaned over, since he was sitting beside her, and gave her a tentative peck on the cheek. She'd probably be uncomfortable with a kiss on the lips, if she barely remembered him. He hoped she wouldn't get too bothered by that.
