Shade sat in her bed, aching to much to move. Hatori had recently told her that her cancer had spread to her spine, down the spine, then up into her brain stem.
Not good, Shade figured.
She rest one hand on the large bulge on her stomach. But it was still smaller then her other two pregnancies. She figured that it was because she had eaten less in this one because of her lack of apitite. She maybe ate half of dinner and completely skipped out on breakfast and lunch. And anytime she did eat, it would hurt and sometimes she even choked on it. She got so embrassed that when she did eat, she would takke her food up to the room she was staying in.
She felt a painfull kick. Her eyes went wide. She knew what that meant. "Kazuma! Saki!" She screeched out, feeling another kick. She was kinda glad she was already laying down.
She groaned in pain. Everything seemed to hurt twice as much now. She went to yell for the two again, but found that she had lost her voice. She felt something warm and wet run down her chin. She wipped it off quickly and looked at her hand. Blood. She let out a whimper, seeing that she couldn't scream. Oh no... what if they didn't hear her? She couldn't scream out again, it hurt to much and she really couldn't get up and walk...
She felt her water break.
((Shade'll die later in this thread. XD I couldn't really think of anything...))

Kazuma was in Shade's room pretty quickly, Saki right behind him, though it looked more as if she had simply walked. Even if she hadn't heard Shade, she could sense the distressed waves. It was like the girl was screaming out to them through the waves.
"I'll call Hatori," Kazuma said, while Saki went to stand beside Shade, murmuring soothing things and holding the girl's hand.
((Mehhhh. xPP))

Shade nodded to Hatori, before gritting her teeth and trying to ignore the pain. "It hurts!" She finally cried out. Things started to get blurry, Shade knew this was a result of her cancer. She whimpered and shut her eyes. She squeezed Saki's hand just to make sure she was still there and this wasn't a horrible nightmare.

((You called Kazuma Hatori. XD))
Saki gave Shade's hand a tight squeeze and placed a cool-skinned hand against Shade's forehead, hoping to soothe the younger girl just a little bit.
Hatori was there pretty soon after Kazuma had called him. He'd just run there. It was faster anyway. He stopped on the side of her bed and murmured, "Do you want Tadao to be here?" Then he proceeded to do what he could to help her, sending up silent prayers like, 'Please help her through this.'

((Ooops. XDD))
Shade couldn't find any words to reply with. She managed a shaky nod before gritting her teeth again and squeezing her eyes shut a second time. She whimpered again. "This is wrong, it hurts!" Shade yelped out, sputtering out more blood. Her pupils were small, like pinpricks on emeralds. The roaring pain seared down her back, up her neck, into her lungs and throat and throbbed up in her head, like someone had set off a bomb inside of her, and now she was being burned from the inside out.

Saki was worried, but was forcing herself to send waves of comfort and reassurance in Shade's direction. She moved her hand from the girl's forehead and started running her fingers gently through the girl's hair. She held Shade's hand with her other one the entire time.
Hatori told Kazuma to call Tadao, who showed up within a few minutes after the call was made. He had kissed her on her forehead, then on her lips despite the blood. He'd merely wiped it away from his face afterward, then kissed her again. Of course, he was gentle. It was just that he was worried for her, and he was trying to reassure her in his own way.
Hatori for the most part ignored his brother, just trying to help ease the pain in any way possible.
((Mlahhh. Sooo, is she giving birth naow? Is it coming right now, or is it just a little longer? XD))

((Not yet. XD Soon.))
Shade didn't want Tadao to see her like this. Half crazy from pain but barely able to scream. She held in her tears and snapped as forcefully as she could. "Get out, Tadao! Out!" She didn't deserve him. She was being selfish right nowm and she knew it. She didn't want him to see her cry.

Tadao looked a little hurt. Could you blame him? He wanted to be with her when she had this next child. He knew that Shade might die giving birth, and if that happened, he wanted to be right beside her. He wanted to be with her, and comfort her. But he did as she asked anyway, pecking her on the forehead then leaving the room without another word.
Kazuma was wonderingi if he should give Kyo a call as well. The two were best friends after all.

Shade groaned again, now the tears came. She looked over at Saki, and her eyes were crazed. "Don't tell them I cried! Please don't tell them that I cried!" She begged Saki. She looked away sharply and coughed, producing more blood from her mouth. "I'm going to hell!" She cried out, her voice was hoarse and cracked.

Saki shook her head. "Shh, it's okay. I won't tell them. You're not going to Hell," she murmured, remaining calm.
Hatori grimaced, hating himself for not having anything to say to his stepdaughter to reassure her, to make her feel better. He hated himself that he couldn't ease her pain. He hated himself for not being able to help her at all.

Shade shook her head violent, then whimpered again. "No, no, no. I'm going to Hell!" She screeched. She yelped again in pain. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She said loudly. "I don't want to go to Hell!"
--Skipping the birthing process XD--
The child had black whispy hair and blue eyes like most children. Her skin was pale, but it would probably turn dark pretty quickly.
Shade actually appeared calm now. Or maybe she was crazed into silence.
Or maybe she always knew that she would going to die young. Shade took her child and held her close, tears still in her brilliant green eyes.
And then she died.
And she looked calm for the first time in her life.

Hatori heard her heart stop beating.
"No... no, no, no. Shade..." His stoic expression was replaced by one of distress and grief.
Saki shook her head sadly, and some tears even fell. She still felt Shade's waves, but they were all but drowned out by the waves of the nearby living people.
Kazuma looked sorrowful, but he held in the tears.
Tadao got a horrible sinking feeling in his stomach upon hearing his brother, and he came in to see Hatori close the girl's eyes with his fingertips.
Tadao was shaking. He walked slowly to Shade's bedside and literally crashed to his knees. He took her cold hand in his own and laid his head on her bed, beside hers.
Hatori saw his brother's shoulders shake violently. He set a hand lightly on Tadao's shoulder. Tadao shook him off "Get out!" He snapped, not really thinking clearly. Kazuma came over, just to get a final fleeting look at Shade, a girl that he had sort of thought of as a daughter, then left the room. Saki, who had tears still silently falling down her cheeks, drifted after the man. They left and shut the door, leaving Hatori and Tadao with Shade's body.
((Are we ending this now, or what...? XD You said you had a plan or something like that, when you said you'd have Shade die. =is confuzled.=))
