It had been a rather uneventful day. Lawliet hadn't really had any really interesting days since they had attempted to bring Shade back. Someone had asked about Kiyoshi; what happened; how he was doing and such. He'd said fine and an unfortunate accident. They hadn't really come up with a story yet.
As the man walked along he thought of his passed niece. Whom he had come to know better throughout the three years he had actually gotten to stick around. If she hadn't been drug into so many bad things she would still be a good kid. Maybe even better. He figured if there was an afterlife she was better off there then here in the world with so much crime and violence.
With these thoughts he did not expect to see the familiar girl at the door of her old home. He paused and blinked. Was he seeing things? No... She was there. Right there. Kira would be ecstatic. Surprised, happy... That is, if Shade was herself. How would the girl act?
He walked over to her a little quicker and knelt beside the girl.
"Shade?" He questioned quietly.

The girl was still wearing the clothes she was buried in, which was a simple white dress. She had lost her slippers somewhere. But now her ankles and feets were all scratched up.
She had been sheilding her eyes from the blinding sun when this... man stopped next to her and knelt down.
She looked up at him, her expression innocent but also as if she ahd been terrorized. Like a child that had seen things she was supposed to see. Seen too much violence. Too much hate. Too much death.
I know him. I know him.... but I can't tell. It's too bright...
Shade just stared at the man for a second longer before looking down again.

Lawliet looked at her for a moment then glanced at the door. He stood and unlocked it. Glancing back at her he opened the door and left it for a moment.
"Come in here, out of the light." He suggested. It was probably bothering her due to her being underground for a while.

Shade wondered if she should trust this man. But she did get up from her sitting spot and timidly walked it. She hugged her body and glanced around like a frightened animal being pushed into a cage.
((This is hard. XD It's so... Un-Shade like. XD))

Lawliet watched her for a moment. She wasn't acting like Shade at all. He picked up the phone off the wall still watching her. The man carefully stepped around her then shut the door. He looked back at her; a little wary.
"Do you remember me?" He asked. "Or maybe Kira? Hatori." He questioned in his normal tone, with a slight hopeful tone touching it.

Silence.
The names sounded familar to her. Kira was the most recognizable out of all of those, but Shade didn't open her mouth to answer. She just stared at Lawliet with her dark green eyes and then looked down at the ground.

After watching her for a moment he continued to dial Kira's number. Waiting for her to pick up.
((Hmmm... To have more characters of mine involved I want to bring Myra in... XD L will call Kiyoshi and he can't drive so Myra does. XD))

Kira almost didn't pick up her phone, but she couldn't run away from life so she picked it up and mumbled a soft, "Hello?" into the speaker.

Lawliet was glad that she picked up the phone. "Hello, Kira. L here. With good news... I think." He said with a glad at the seemingly mute Shade. "Shade is here; whatever that Fae did, worked." The man stated.

There was silence on the other end of the line.
"I'm coming." Were Kira's words before she hung up. She would be there soon. Probably much too quickly to be abiding by the speed limit.

Lawliet listened to the dial tone for a moment before hanging up his end. "Kira is coming. She's your mother." He stated looking back over at Shade. Thinking for a moment he then dialed Kiyoshi's number.
"Hello." He said once it was answered. "Shade's here and Kira's coming. Thought you would want to know as well."
((Bleh, went through the conversation. XD))

Shade just looked up at L again when he spoke and went back to staring.

Kiyoshi had pretty much done the same thing Kira did. But the one-armed man was finding it more difficult for him to get there then Kira.
"Eeh.., Myra. I need to to drive me somewhere." He said to his girlfriend.

Myra looked up; nodding slightly. "I'll get Chiasa then." She said; blinking.

Lawliet was finding it odd how no one at all seemed to say good bye anymore. The man set the phone down and leaned against the door frame. He then thought about Ryuu; then realized he didn't have the boys number. Well maybe Kira did.
"Shade... You can sit in here." He wasn't sure how to treat the girl exactly. Since he didn't know what she knew or what things she could still do. Walk for sure though. He was pretty sure she understood him as well.
((They can poof there in a couple of posts. XD))

Shade looked at Lawliet, but then sat down. Proof that she did understand human speak. At least, simple comands like 'sit'. She looked down at her hands, were bloody and streached all the way up to her elbows, but the worst of it was around her hands and knuckles.
She clawed herself out of the grave.

Lawliet followed her eyes then left the room. He came back with a first-aid kit. Something that probably needed restocking but would do for the most part. Myra would probably come and she was a nurse; the girl could help. He was a little wary to try and clean it off himself at the moment though.

The sound of tires squealing to a stop sounded outside of the house.
Kira stepped inside of the house, her eyes landing on her daughter. Her first daughter. Her first born.
"Shade..." The woman breathed, taking closer steps, resting a hand on her shoulder.
Shade jerked away quickly. The feel of human touch was odd to her new, since she had been in a box in six feet in the ground for almost two months. Every touch, sensation was ten-folded for Shade. The smooth texture of the dress rubbed softly against her skin. The rougher feel of the couch felt like sandpaper grinding against her skin. The cuts on her body felt like tousands of knives that had been sliced and stuck on her skin. The breeze was like a sandstorm peeling off her skin. The sun was like being followed by a spotlight.

Lawliet watched for a moment before speaking. "I don't think she can talk. But she understood me when I said she could come in and sit down. Though..." He trailed off looking back at the girl. "She didn't seem to remember your name. Or Hatori. I didn't really ask about Ryuu or anyone else." That reminded him.
"One more thing... Should we call Ryuu and if so do you have his number?" He questioned.

Kira seemed a bit heartbroken, but covered it up quickly.
"I actually don't know where he's living now. He always comes to see me. I've never been over to his place." She said to her brother.

Lawliet nodded slightly. Maybe he could find out from someone at work. Either way, it would have to wait. "She's here though." He added catching her look and glancing at Shade.
Myra drove up to the house; slipping out of the car with a glance at Kiyoshi before walking around to get Chiasa.
((I figured Myra and Kiyoshi could get here. XD And can we say Kiyoshi told Myra what happened...?))

Kiyoshi got out of the car and watched as she got Chiasa. The man made his way to the door of the house, holding it open for the two because it was the least that he could do.
Shade and Kira looked up as the door opened again.
