Azriel was slightly surprised by the question. He glanced down adjusting the wristband slightly.
"My father was killed by a sickness. But my mother and sister..." He trailed off in thought. "They were killed by a vampire." He mumbled. The vampire really didn't want to tell her he had killed his mother and most of his village. Surely she would hate him then? View him as a monster? Even if she did accept the fact that he had killed strangers to him. But his own mother? How could she not look at him as a monster?

Jade looked at him a little sadly. "Did... you do it?" She asked, concern touching her features. She wouldn't hate him if he said yes. Because... vampires were supposed to do that. And she was sure he regretted it. And that he would never hurt her. It was scary, of course, to think about the fact he might have killed his mother and sister. But... she decided she'd be able to accept it. Before he could answer, she hastily said, "Um... forget that question. It's okay if you don't want to answer. What was your sister like? Do you remember?"

Azriel glanced at her. She was too smart some times. Though he was glad she had said he could forget it. Which he readily did. "Ah, yeah. I remember her." His family were he ones he had not forgotten. Their memories did not even fade. "She was smaller, like mom and nice to everyone. Though she didn't have trouble sticking up for herself and friends." He said answering the questions about his sister. It did take a moment to think about her, how to explain what she was like. Since he hadn't spoken about his family in so long.

((At some point (in this thread or in a new one) maybe something could happen (serious or minor) where she bleeds (I dunno how much lol) and Azriel loses control, bites her, starts drinking her blood, then manages to stop himself, and she becomes a vampire. XD))
Jade smiled, showing the top row of her slightly crooked teeth. "She sounds like she's a great girl. The closest I can get to having a sister is either my dog Roxy, or my friend Brittney." She laughed. She hated keeping the big secret that her boyfriend was... well, a vampire from her best friend. But she still kept it. It was tough, though.

Azriel smirked and laugh quietly. "Your dog?" He asked jokingly. The vampire smiled lightly; having forgotten their former subject. Though it nagged him just slightly.

((*grins* What should happen? I want to torture the character that's based on me. xD Ooh! How about I do it in a different thread? *just had an awesome idea* Jade and Brittney are out walking. Jade was helping Britt pack for a sleep over, and now they're walking back to Jade's house. It's late and really dark out, then they get ambushed by a gang and get hurt. Azriel attacks the both of them, and they BOTH become vampires. Sorry, but I'd never be able to keep a secret like that for long. xD I'd need to share it with somebody! LoL))
Jade shrugged. "Sorta. My dog's a girl, and part of the family." She crossed her arms over her chest and walked around the fairgrounds with Azriel, looking around at the many rides. "How about the ring of fire? I haven't gone on there since I was ten. And it terrified me because when it went completely upside down, I wasn't even touching my seat. I think I'd be more confident with you there..."

((XDDD Okay. And I love rides. x3 Except when I'm in a ride where your being squished by the person next to you... XD Hmm... Maybe Azriel ends up attacking one of the gang people too. Just so he's not the bad guy completely. XDDD You start? I don't think I could since they're your charries... XD))
Azriel laughed. "Alright. Whichever one you want works for me." He said smiling and turning slightly walking toward the ride with her.

She still found the ride ahead of her frightening. But with Azriel there, it would sure help. She timidly took his hand. They didn't hold hands much, but she liked to.
"So... how about your mom? What was she like?" Jade asked curiously.

Azriel smirked. "She was constantly pestering me to get married. Back when I was actually... Human, people would get married and such at young ages. Times have changed a lot since then." He replied. "But she was a mother. Before dad had died she was really strict. After she seemed to deteriorate, so to speak." The vampire added; smirking slightly when she took his hand.

Jade smiled. "Yeah, I know about the early marriage thing. History class and stuff," she said, smirking a bit. She joined many other people in the line to the 'Ring of Fire' ride. "Was it annoying that she was always telling you to marry?" She asked out of curiosity.
