Drake was out, on his morning exercises. He entered some woods, but it had a fowl stench. Drake was shruged it off, and continued running. He was just out on a morning jog, it shouldn't hurt anyone, right?

The boy had been wandering around the territory, preferring that over hanging out with Adam and everyone. Ugh, he was gonna join Flight's pack if he ever found her or Kyo or Shade or someone...
Soon, he scented something strange. It didn't smell very good. He figured it was a vampire. He shrugged to himself and jogged toward the scent to see. While making his way there, he was quietly singing the chorus of a song he'd written. "The last thing on my mind when I closed my eyes... oooooh, my, my... was our first kiss. It could've been raining. It might've been sunny. It might've been your house. Could've been Monday..." When he got closer, he stopped singing. "Huh, hi," he mumbled. Billy looked about nine or ten, but really he was twelve. "What's a vampire doing here, anyway?" He asked, keeping a safe distance, looking tensed. He didn't hate vampires, no. He didn't think it made sense to hate someone he'd never met. But he knew that they could be dangerous. So he was careful.

Drake stopped, "one, please don't call me vampire, and two, I'm just on my morning jog." The kid didn't smell human, so there was no point asking why he was alone.

Billy shrugged. "Not like I know what else to call you. I just know that you're a vampire," he said. "You shouldn't be on werewolf territory, by the way. If the others find out, there's gonna be problems."

"I won't cause trouble. I'm just passing through. And just call me Drake," he replied.

"Billy," the boy said simply. "And they won't care," he added, shrugging. He smiled anyway and leaned on a tree. Many would say he was 'cute'. They should hear his voice. Sure, he sounded like a girl. But he was really good.

"Whatever they throw at me, I can take it," Drake stated simply. He continued his jog.
