"They say I'm sick. I don't feel any more ill than I tend to, though," Ren said, almost innocently.

Akito still looked... well, shocked. This woman that she'd known her entire life for being the thing she hated most was being the exact OPPOSITE. She wondered if this was some twisted nightmare, then remembered she couldn't sleep anyway.

"What's the matter, Akito?"

Her tone sounded too kind! It was probably wrong for Akito to be bothered by this, but she was. She almost WANTED Ren to say something cutting, cruel. Almost.

"You aren't yourself, Mother," Akito replied flatly.

"Oh? I'm not?" Ren asked.

"G*d, what's wrong with you?" Akito asked without thinking, rubbing her temples, trying to think straight.

((I kinda wanna make Ren suddenly go into a seizure. xDDD Or vomit up blood or something.
Akito: No. Blood. =twitch= Last thing I want is to lose control in a hospital.

"You normally don't act like this, Ren." Devon told her. "You're normally not so... giddy." He said, trying to put it nicely.

((Lotus showed me. Brain Fever. xDDDD The person who has it usually acts either VERY violent, like, even biting people and such, or being fairly childish. Ren isn't quite... acting childish, but she's dilerious. LoL It never said anything about seizing, but I still wanna do it. Hmmmm... maybe it could be something else. xDDD))

Ren shrugged, almost as if she didn't care.

Akito could barely bear being in here. She'd always hated hospitals. And now her mother had literally lost it, probably gone crazy or something. What the he** did she have, anyway?!

"Maybe we should talk to a doctor." Devon suggested to Akito quietly.
