Lacey stood on her tiptoes and looked over at Kyome and mouthed the word 'meanie'. She heard Adrian catch his breath.
"What was that?" She asked smiling, trying to stiffle a giggle.
"Nothing..." He said looking around blushing.
"You were never good at lying you know." She laughed quietly. He rolled his eyes.

Ayra turned slightly on the wrong foot and stumbled against Drake. "Oops. My bad" She giggled up to him, looking slightly embarrassed.

[Grr]

"It's ok. Everyone makes mistakes."

Ayra put her hands on Drakes chest to steady herself. "Yeah, I know. Especially when you wear heals."

[Grr]

Drake blinked. "Why are you wearing heels on a beach?"

Ayra made a gestur to Kyome, who smiled and waved slightly from her seat. "Mind if we sit down so I can take them off?" She asked.

[Grr]

"Not at all."

Ayra smiled and took his hand to lead him to the table closest to the water. She sat down and carefull bend down to loosen the straps of her sliver stilettos.

[Grr]

Drake say next to her. "You really didn't want to wear that, did you," he asked.

This was awkward. Lacey and Adrian were just looking at eachother blushing. Typical right? Adrian's thumbs stroked Lacey's back gently, which only made him blush more. She laid her cheek on his shoulder again.
"Uh, this is awkward..." He said, a nervous smile in his voice.
"Mhm." She said smiling under her breath.

"Nope, but she persuaded me to wear it when she said yo would like it, so yeah." Ayra said, pulling off her shoe and unlacing the straps on the other one.

KYome looked at Lacey, smiling warmly. She knew this was perfect, looking at the two couples. It just felt... right for them to be together.

[Grr]

Drake smiled. "Well, you do look lovely in that."

Ayra looked embarrassed, but said "Well, thats why i wore it." She said, sliding off her oher shoe and throwing them a little ways back.

The song ended from what seemed like forever. Lacey stepped away from Adrian and walked back down to the sandy beach. Adrian stood there looking after her.

[Grr]

Drake smiled warmly at Ayra," come on. The next song could come on at any moment." He gently took her hand and led her to the dance floor.

Ayra let Drake lead her back to the dance floor. A soft song a little older then some of the others came on as they were walking to the floor. She went on the tips of her toes, but still couldn't even reach his shoulders. "Gosh, your so tall!" She laughed. "It makes me feel so young again." She smiled up to him.

Kyome Sighed, then widened her mind to Adrian and thought to him 'Go to her, you idiot! go talk about anything!'

[Grr]

Drake smiled, then sighed, "yeah. I know. And sometimes, I wish I wasn't so tall."

"I don't." She smiled sheepishly. "I like that your tall. It makes me feel safe when you are around." She twirled in a small circle then went back into his arms.

[Grr]

Drake smiled warmily, and leaned down to kiss her fore head. He danced with her.

Lacey stopped mid-sprint on the way to the beach. Panting she sat on the sand, knowing Kyome was going to come after her. She put her head between her knees, attempting to clear her head. Did she like Adrian? Same for him?
