Ayra smiled back to him. "Then, this will be easy!" She exclaimed, leading him to the little clearing in the middle of the tables. She grabbed his forearm and started to flow to the music.

Drake followed her to the 'dance floor' so to speak. He was used to this type of music. He danced smoothly woth the music.

Adrain walked into the party, blushing vigorusly. He hated suits. He had a blac jacket with a black shirt with a bright silver tie. He was wearing a light wash jean and grays converse. He noticed Lacey looking at Drake and Ayra smiling. He walked over. "Hey." He said putting his hand on the back of his neck while blushing, still.
"Oh, hey." She said over her shoulder. "What's up?"
"Are they dating or something?" Adrain asked raising an eyebrow.
"I guess. They do make a cute couple."
Adrain nodded. He had a feeling he was going to get attacked by a frustrating Kyome for wearing jeans. Then he noticed Lacey's shoes. "Nice." He said motioning toward Lacey's feet.
"I know right." She smiled. "Kyome got mad at meh." She said smiling bigger and pulled her pinki to the side of her mouth.

Ayra laughed excitedly as she and Drake weaved and twirled and just had fun to the music. She pulled Drake closer so that they could maneuver around easier and put her hand in his. All the while, she was smiling and moving her feet gracefully around, making her dress glimmer as it caught the moon and candlelight.

meanwhile, Kyome came over to Lacey and Adrian and glared at them. "You two are evil, wearing Those" She pointed to both pairs of converses. Even she couldn't stifle her laugh though. "Welcome to the party!" She exclaimed to Adrian

Drake was dancing that was somewhat similar to ballroom dancing/ But he was going with how Ayra was dancing as well.

Drakes dancing was a little less modern and more formal than what she was doing, so she switched up the style of dance to match his. "There, that better?" She asked him, smiling.

Kyome asked Lacey and Adrian "so, hows it been here? kinda colder than the country side, huh?"

"Mmmm, It's been okay." They both said in unison. Looked at eachother and blushed and looked away again.

"Thanks," Drake said, smiling.

Kyome looked from one to another, a grin stretching over her face. "You two...?" She asked waggling her eyebrows at them. No wonder Adrian was blushing and Lacey dressed up in her finest. (even if her finest were those wretched knee converse definitely NOT made for parties.)

Ayra looked to Drake. "Oh, no problem!" She said. "Easy peasy, as kyome would say." She laughed. the band glinted for a second until they turned a little. The music stopped and went to another, much slower track. Ayra slowed her pace to match it, leaning closer to Drake to fit the type of dance for the song.

"No!" Lacey said quickly. Adrain had wandered off to the food table out of embaressment. He wondered if it could be possible... Probably not.

Drake danced along with Ayra. He was famliar with this type of music. He danced smoothly and easily to the music.

((How about much later in the thread, The boom box plays a loud, heavy metal song. XDD, Drake's reaction would be funny.))

Kyome leaned into Lacey, smiling. "Are you lying to me?" She whispered to her so Adrian had no chance of overhearing.

Ayra sighed and put her head on Drakes chest, loving the smoothness of the dance. It was easy to get lost in the tempo of it.

"Why would I lie to you Kyome? You could tell if I was lying." Lacey smiled brightly, ignoring the question. She knew she would attack Adrain later. Ugh, Kyome. She wrinkled her nose out of the perfume stuff that her big sis sprayed her with. It smelled like lavender. She bent over and retied her converse. She felt a pair of eyes blazing up and down her. She think she knew who's they were.

Kyome just chuckled. "Yeah, and I know when you are nervous, and your nervous just wearing THAT around him" She smiled beautifully at her.

The music went from the soft orchestra to a huge, banging beat. Ayra stiffened. "Oh, gosh." She laughed, looking to Drake. "Rock music. Heavy metal at that." Ayra looked to the boom box, wondering who had changed the music. It just had to be the song Down with the Sickness.

Kyomes eyes bugged at the sound of the music too. "What the..."

[Grr]

Drake freaked out when the heavy metal music boomed through the air. As if a reaction, he smashed the boom box. It sputtered a few words, then dies. Drake, snaping out of it, realized what he just did. "Oh. Sorry."

Kyome just stared at Drake like he was crazy. "What the heck?" she said, raising an eyebrow. Ayra put her hand to her mouth to cover a laugh, but it was too late. She burst out laughing. "I guess it was a too quick of a change of music!" She snickered, holding her arm to her side.

Lacey eyes widened at the crash and sputter of the boom box. Then laughed, really hard and really loud. She went to go sit down at the walker's table. The wolves had gotten here by now and Kyome had a back up boom box hopefully. The chair was pulled out from underneath the table for her to sit in it. "Here." She looked up. It was Adrian. Crap.
"Thanks." She said smiling slightly, and sitting down.

Kyome crouched behind the table and pulled out a I-pod and a pair of huge speakers. "There." She said after setting it up and putting on the sot orchestra again.

[Grr]

Drake relaxed. "You know. When you pick music, consider who you're inviting."

"Hey, It's not my fault." Kyome said. "I borrowed the CD from the Cullens. It was a burned mix CD" Kyome said, getting back up. Ayra sat down next to the food table and laughed some more.
