Azriel walked back toward the house door. He had been out hunting, alone. But he had been thinking. It had been a while since Britney and Jade had been changed into vampires. They showed good control and such. Perhaps taking them to see their families would be okay. If he, and possibly Alice as well, went with them and watched them with the whole thing. If they were able to hold themselves back with their families then they could see them instead of having to stay away. He had never had that chance, so maybe all would be well.
Walking into the house he paused for a moment to figure out where the two were. Upstairs, in one of their rooms. Jade's he figured. He walked upstairs and poked his head in the open door. "Hey." He greeted. Then what would they do about their eyes? How would they explain why they had been missing and why they were with him and the Cullen's instead of home? He was having trouble thinking up a plan.
"I think that you might be able to see your families... If we can think of how to explain you going missing."
((Meh...))

Jade and Brittney had just been talking to each other, drawing, and reading something off the internet to consume time and keep their minds off of things. Brittney had been complaining about how Jade drew so much better than her, while Jade was trying to convince her that Brittney was just as good, just not as good at her own style of drawing. They quieted and had both looked up when Azriel had entered.
"Really?" Jade asked, first to react. Brittney stayed quiet, as if thinking. "I'd really, really like that."
Brittney had a contemplative look on her face. She meed Azriel's eyes, then said, "Why can't we just tell them the truth?" she asked. She really hadn't learned much of the Volturi.
Jade, knowing a little more than Brittney when it came to this, quickly explained. "We can't just tell them. I've told you about the Volturi, right? Well, if they find out that humans know, they'll make sure the humans' hearts stop beating. They either get changed, or the Volturi will kill them."
"Oh..." Brittney mumbled. "Well, then how about we don't tell them. We tell our families that our disappearance isn't something that we can explain, and we just spend some time with them?"
To be honest, she looked forward more to seeing her cousins and Jade's family than her own. She had never felt at home at the house where she lived, even though her family was kind. Well, she'd be glad to see Illy and her other siblings, that was for sure...

"Will they take that?" Azriel questioned Brittney. Then he glanced back at Jade. "But that is why. The Vultori. It would be easier but harder without them. The times without them were rather... Dark." He stated; looking down. Since he'd been one he knew what they were truly like. But in some ways it was better. Without them around vampires would feed and make themselves known without problem. It's not like humans could really hurt them anyway.
"If that works for them, and you. Then we can say that."

Brittney shrugged. "They can't make us tell," she said. "And if it's for their safety, they'll understand."
Jade nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I think that'd work."
((Blaaaah. Sorry, I'm tired. XP))

Azriel nodded slightly. "Okay. Then I think it will work." He stated. They'd run across the trail of human a few times, but once it was clarified what that scent was they had backed off. So it was good in that sense.
"When do you want to go? Though I may have to talk to Alice..." Except she probably all ready knew...

"I think we're both ready to go whenever," Brittney answered. Jade nodded in agreement.
Alice flitted into the room.
"So, am I tagging along with you three?" she asked hopefully, grinning.
Jade glanced at Azriel. She didn't mind, but she wasn't sure if Azriel had wanted her to go. Though, she assumed he did want the pixie-like vampire to come along, since he was about to go talk to her.

"Yeah." Azriel replied looking over at the smaller vampire. "I wanna be sure we can all keep control. And you're better at it." He stated. The vampire stood up; looking over at Jade and Brittney. "So we can go now."
((Eeeh... Wanna magically poof to one of their houses? XD))

((XD Sorta, eh? LoL.))
Azriel was a little worried about the whole thing. But it had been his idea, but hopefully it would go well. Though he was pretty sure it would all be fine... They wouldn't harm their families, now that they had had practice with control. "Ah... They won't think we kidnapped you or anything, will they?" He asked looking over at Jade.

Jade smiled. "I'll make sure to convince them otherwise. Besides, they know that if Brittney's with me, she would have bashed your face in by now if you'd kidnapped us," she said jokingly.
Brittney laughed. "True, true," she said.
=SKIP=
It wasn't long before they'd left the Cullen's house and arrived at Jade's house. Jade knocked on the door. Drew answered, and proceeded to hurl himself at his sister as soon as he saw who it was.
Jade grinned and hugged him. She would've been crying if it were possible.
"Drew, let go of me," she complained. "I want to see Mom and Dad, too. And Sea-sea," she said. Drew pulled away, and she led the way inside.
Brittney hugged Drew next, and Drew quite willingly hugged his sister's friend back.
"Mom, Dad," Jade called.
Jade's mother hurried into the room, and nearly began to cry when she saw her daughter and Brittney, who she also considered a daughter. But instead she beamed and rushed over to them, hugging them.
Of course they both kind of liked the smell of the people around them, but they held back. Not to mention they were often hunting, just to make sure that they were full most of the time so they could hopefully have better control around humans. Luckily, it had been working.
"Mom, get Daddy down here. So I can, uh, explain. Kinda..." Jade said in a tear-choked voice.
Deanna didn't respond right away, but finally stopped hugging the girls, then called her husband down. He came down, talking on the phone, but then, upon seeing Jade, Brittney, Alice and Azriel in the room, he told the person he was talking to that he had an important meeting, and then hung up.
"Hi Dad," Jade said, shuffling forward. Brittney did the same. James smiled at them, but also looked confused. But extremely elated, too. He hugged them almost as long as Deanna had.
"Where have you two been?" Deanna asked, casting a glance at Azriel. Some ideas crossed through her mind at what might have been going on, but she didn't say anything.
"Well, see, here's the hard part. We can't really tell you exactly what happened to us," Jade told her mother.
"Why not?"
"It's dangerous. More for you guys than me and Brittney. But we wanted to come by just so you know that we're perfectly fine. Britt and I, we're not in any danger, I promise you," Jade said.
"Jade, you know that you shouldn't worry about us. You can tell us. We'll be able to... well, take care of ourselves if something bad happens," James told his daughter, looking at her sternly.
Jade shook her head. "Look, what could happen is... Well, I can't explain that to you either. Basically, some practically immortal people would come and do some pretty bad stuff if we tell you and they find out."
"Zombies?" Drew chirped. "Zombies, right? I can kill zombies." The only way to explain his expression is: ^_^.
Jade groaned. Brittney laughed. "No, Drew, not Zombies. Something else." She paused. Brittney took over.
"Anyway, main thing is that we can't tell you what happened to us. But we promise that we're totally safe, and we'll even e-mail you guys and visit all the time just to prove it," Brittney said.
James had suspicions about what Alice and Azriel were doing here as well, but he could always tell when his daughter was anxious or uncomfortable or scared, and now she was perfectly at ease.

Azriel sort of stood off to the side; staying quiet. Jade seemed to have it under control at the moment. No one had mentioned their eye color yet though. So that was fairly good, wasn't it? Though there was the glances that he was receiving. Even for a vampire it was unnerving. Or maybe that was just him feeling uncomfortable with the glances. He wished it was so easy as to tell them the truth. But with the Vultori hanging over their heads, this wasn't going to happen.
Seamus, upon hearing his sister speaking and the excitement in a way, soon joined the group. Jade was once more practically attacked with a hug.
((Still dunno how to play Seamus. xP Bleh... Bad post though. XPP))

Jade would have been utterly surprised before she was a vampire by the hug. But with her amazing hearing, she heard Seamus coming, and so she wasn't surprised. That would probably disappoint her brother. She grinned, though, and hugged her little brother back. Then she looked at her mom and dad again.
"What happened to your eyes?" James asked, looking from Brittney to his daughter.
"It's part of what happened to us while we were gone," Jade explained. "Oh, and by the way, right now I'm not really attending school. That's another thing that's dangerous. But don't worry, I'm still getting educated. I'm taking classes online."
"Where are you staying?" Deanna asked.
"Uh, I'm staying with some people who have gone through the same types of things that I have... as far as me changing goes. Don't worry, Britt and I are in good hands," she promised. "She and I share a room and everything! Maybe... maybe, if it's okay with the others staying there, I'll invite you guys over there sometime." There was a quiet pause, then Jade said, "It's basically kinda like going off to college, okay? So, I'm basically moving out earlier than I planned to, y'know?" In fact, at first she'd been planning to go to college in the US with Brittney. It would be at a college in Texas that her uncle owned.
Deanna looked a little saddened. "Mm-hm, okay," she said quietly, nodding.
"But like I said, I'll come visit a lot, 'kay?" Jade said.
"Me too," Brittney said.
((Blaaaaaaaahhhh. Skip the rest of this visit, then they go see Brittney's family...?))

((xD))
They'd hung out there for a few hours. Alice had introduced herself and enjoyed herself quite a bit with the family. She was the shortest person in the house. Even twelve-year-old Seamus was taller than her.
"Oh. I think it's about time we went and saw Brittney's family," Alice chirped, smiling politely at James and Deanna. They could all smell the food that was being cooked by Deanna, and none of them wanted to explain that they didn't eat human food anymore.
"That's a good idea," Jade said.
"Oh, I was hoping to keep you for dinner," Deanna said.
Jade shook her head. "Um, no thanks Mommy. I mean, I'm not that hungry." Yes, of course she still said Mommy. Plenty of girls did.
"Neither am I," Brittney said.
"Azriel and I already ate," Alice said lightly.
"Oh, well, okay then," Deanna said. Jade smiled and hugged each of her family. Brittney even did the same.
"Well, bye! I'll call you all and see you later," Jade said, waving.
After the goodbyes, they finally left.
"My family's probably eating dinner by now. So let's just hang outside for a bit," Brittney suggested. "'Cause it would be easier if we didn't get invited to eat dinner..."
She hoped that she'd get lucky and Illy would be there with the rest of the family, instead of spending time with their grandpa. She also hoped that some of her cousins and uncles would be there. They usually were. They hung out at her house a lot.

Azriel nodded slightly. "That wasn't to straining was it?" He asked looking over at the two young vampires.
