A single life taken far from you, a person you don't know, someone who has family, but otherwise has no real purpose in the world. It doesn't affect you. Even if you were to hear about it on the news, someone being killed, you may worry for yourself and your family, along with some friends. But you won't think much on the person who was killed. No one will go into the what ifs and such. What if this person had family? How is their family handling this?
Of course, then it happens to someone around you. And you feel like they did. Do you ever go back to thinking about them? How they lost someone they loved? Not always. You've probably forgotten about them by then.
Emeric had been surprised when he'd finally gotten to see Krysten and Kerstyn. They were grown to looking like teenagers already. The had grown so fast. It was strange. The Gray Lords said it was simply the fae blood with the vampire blood mixed that had made them grow so fast. They seemed to have grown in their minds as well. He was ready to bring them home. Takara was upset, he hadn't found out that the Gray Lords had taken them till just recently. He hadn't told Takara yet though, since he'd gone from where he was right to where he could speak to the Gray Lords.
Surprisingly the Gray Lords had seemed to decide to just let them go. He'd been grateful, but wary about whether they would turn around and ask for something later. Like with this war with the vampires. Would he have to become involved more with it?
The door creaked a bit as he opened it. Leading his children in. "Where is mom?" Krysten asked. She looked around with wide blue eyes. "She's here. Takara!" He called out her name, pausing in the hall.
((Gah... XP I tried... Eheh... Pretty title!? XD))

((XDD))
Kerstyn followed his twin, his eyes sweeped the room. A memory so far away yet so close at the same time, like a trick mirror. You reach out to it, and it's further then it seems. An insane man looking at a picture of himself, unfocused eyes remember something that seemed so far away, but like a whisper of yesterday, the two blend together, the ribbons of tangling together, gray and red, knotted and confused. Kerstyn cast away his musing for another time. Now, was a time for different musings.
Takara rushed into the room as fast as her lame leg would allow her, it was still rather quick for a crippled woman. Takara nearly burst into tears at the sight of her two children. "My babies..." Her lip quivered as she mumbled this to herself, stepped forward, she embraced her family, one arm around Krysten and Kerstyn, the other other one hooking around Emeric's waist.
These two were almost as old as her first set of children now... at least, in looks and such. And yet each set of twins hardly knew the other one. That would soon change. Takara decided. She wanted a full family, and that included Kiyoshi and Kyoshi, too.

Emeric put an arm around Takara as she put one of hers around his waist. He smiled lightly at her then glanced over at their children. Having them back, and Takara with them all as well, was enough to push whatever worries he had out of his mind for the moment.
Krysten grinned as her mother entered. She wasn't really dwelling on things like her brother. It's not that she wasn't smart, she just chose not to go beyond the face value of things. Though the face value right now was that things looked familiar, she was happy to see her mother, and have be with her whole family. Well, most of it. Her half siblings weren't here. Though she wanted to see them, and learn more about them. "Hi, mom." She murmured, still smiling.
Emeric glanced back at Krysten as she spoke. Though he was aggravated with the Gray Lords for taking the two, he was grateful they had allowed him to bring them home. Maybe they had gotten what they wanted, or figured they didn't need them at the moment. Though he figured this didn't matter, what mattered right now, is that they were back home.

"Hey there, baby." Takara cooed, brushing some of her daughter's fair blonde hair through her finger and away form her soft face. The children... they looked so much Emeric. Wonderful children, they were.
Kerstyn opened his mouth to speak, trying to find the right words, and hoping he wouldn't spout out something stupid about crazy men and ribbons. Or he sudden;y might find himself sharing a pretty white room with said crazy man. "... We missed you." He said softly to her, unsure of what to say.
((No, this is bad. XDD))

((XDD Nice though, with Kerstyn thinking. XDD))
"We missed you as well." Emeric replied. They had. It had been hard, looking for them. He was positive the only reason they had gotten the two back was because the Gray Lords had let information slip for him.
Krysten put her arms around Takara. "A lot." She mumbled, adding on to what Kerstyn had stated.
((I think we should bring Kiyoshi and Kyoshi in later. Maybe Takara or Emeric can call them. XD When we run out of ideas. x3))

((Kk. ^^))
Takara grinned and kissed each of her child on the cheek. She felt so happy right now. She might explode from how happy she was feeling and her blood would squirt out in rainbows. Well, okay, maybe not, but now you get the picture with just how happy she is.
"We did. And we're so glad to have you back." She said to them.

"Come on, we can go to the living room so we're not standing in front of the door all day." Emeric suggested.
Krysten nodded. "Okay." She said pulling back slightly and glancing around; trying to remember where exactly the living room had been.

Kersytn nodded once. "Yeah, that's probably a good idea." He said, following his mother who had already started moving to the living room. "Did they treat you good while you were there?" Takara asked her son and daughter, a bit of worry in her tone. ((::is shot:

"Oh, yeah. We were fine, we got some funny looks occasionally but I figured it was just because of the whole mixed blood and what not."Krysten replied sounding rather chipper. Though she was normally like that. At least she tried to be like that. She followed Takara and her brother into the living room now. So that's where it had been...
Emeric was glad that they had been treated well enough. He nodded slightly. "That's good." He said as he went in behind Krysten to the living room.

Kerstyn nodded. "Yeah, they were mainly curious, I think." He said. "Never harmed us or anything." He shrugged. Takara nodded once. "Good." She said with a smile. ((::Is shot:

Emeric nodded slightly. "Figures. Still upset they took you without any warning." He stated. "Yeah... I missed you all..." Krysten said. Then she wondered about her earlier thoughts. "Could we see Kyoshi and Kiyoshi?" She asked
((A way to bring it up. >o< XD))

((XD Kay.)) Takara smiled and nodded, understanding why these two might want to see their brother and sister. "Sure." She said. "I'll call them right now." She said, walking over to the wall phone and dailed the number to the first twin, Kyoshi, asking her polietely to come over before calling Kiyoshi and asking him the same thing. The two made it there quickly, Kyoshi opening the door for her brother, both of them freezing as they saw the two others. ((::is shot... again. )
