It was a dark night in the mountains. The inhabitants, dragons. were going about their way, but they are always ready for a sneak attack by those who wish them gone, humans. The dragon king, Blazeclaw, was laying in his cave. His scales where black with a tint of red on the edges of each scale. His size was huge. His claws were sharp, but also worn from years of battle. He looked outside his cave, and saw a shooting star, but something was wrong. The star was getting bigger. Blazeclaw got on his feet, and walked outside of his cave. When he looked at the star again, he then realized that the star wasn't getting bigger. It was getting closer. He roared. His roar echoed through the mountains, warning the others to watch the sky's. They responded as such by taking shelter in nearby caves. Only Blazeclaw stood outside, watching the star getting closer. In a matter of minutes, the star crashed into the earth, shaking the ground. Blazeclaw looked at the star, but a closer look at the star, it was a giant crystal.
Blazeclaw stepped forward toward the crystal. Another dragon flew by and landed near the crash site. "What is that, sir?" The dragon asked.
"I don't know, Zertys," Blazeclaw responded. "But it seems harmless. Tell the others that this is nothing to worry about. But, do not touch it." The other dragon nodded and flew off to tell the others that everything is alright for the moment. Soon after that, another dragon, one with orange scales and beautiful teal eyes landed next to the dragon king. "Is everything alright," the dragon asked. This dragon was female.
Blazeclaw looked at her," everything is alright, Heluyl. Now, how are the eggs?"
Heluyl looked at her king and smiled," they are alright. They are in the secret forest, safe and sound."
Blazeclaw smiled warmly and nuzzled her. "I'm glad. Now let's get some rest, my queen." After that, both the dragon king and queen walked to their cave to retire for the night, while the guards flew around the mountains.
A few days later, a man, in full armor, shaped to look like a dragon, was on a mission with another warrior, this one female, in scale and leather armor, also shaped as a dragon, but a different kind. The man, the sun gleaming off his red and gold plate and scale armor, was carrying a long handled weapon. The bladed end looked like a giant spear head, but it had three prongs and it was bladed. The woman was carrying a staff that had four spikes on the top, and a ring hung from the head as well. Her hair was flowing out of the back of her helmet. They have heard rumors of travelers disappearing in a far off and hard-to-find forest.
"Do you think we're close to the forest, Dragon axe," the woman asked, her voice sounding more deeper through the armor.
"I would say so, Lung Bow. We have been traveling for days in the general direction of where the nearby villagers said," Dragon Axe replied.
