" 'cause they're a bunch of people that want all the preternatural creatures dead." Bandit replied nonchalantly. " 'course when they got a hold of Flight..." He trailed off figuring he wouldn't go into detail. So he just shrugged. The boy jumped up and walked to the other side of the roof looking over the side.
"Hey Raven! Watcha doin' down there?" He called before laughing.
Raven looked up and frowned. "I don't know, why are you covered in blood?" She called back.
"Just get up here." Bandit replied rolling his eyes. "Flight with ya?" He asked.
"No. Lost her. She'll be fine." Raven replied once she got up through the fire escape. "Eh... Horse?" The other werewolf was confused by Akira's scent.
"Can't say what she is. Her names Akira. Akira, this is Raven." Bandit replied.
"Hey! The blood?" Raven asked eying him.
"Got shot. It'll heal though." He replied shrugging.
"And that's how you get infections." Raven grumbled. "Nice to meet you Akira." She said bowing low her black hair falling around the side of her face. "I apologize if Bandit was rude. He hasn't been taught the proper... Manners of society." She said smirking as she looked over at him.
"You were nicer before I got shot." He stated sitting down and scratching the back of his head.
"No. I just don't like the fact that you've gone and drug someone into our business. What did you do?" She asked.
"Nothin'." He replied shrugging.
((I could go on and on with these two. But I'll stop there. XDD))

"Hajimashi.te," Akira said to Raven. "Oh, and he wasn't rude at all. It was nice talking to him. And it wasn't exactly his fault. We... ran into each other. Then I guess... trouble was coming, I wasn't paying attention, and he pulled me after him. And he asked me what I was and all that..." she sort of trailed off.

"Yeah, yeah. Coulda been the area we tried to take or the Fellowship. Most likely the first. Then again maybe they're working together. Oh my g*d they're conspiring against us all." Bandit said blinking and twitching.
"Stop being such a spaz Bandit." Raven said laughing at him. "Even if that's the case we're out." She added frowning.
"Meh..." Bandit said waving his hand toward her. "And look! I got money." He said handing the money off to Raven.
"How?"
"Akira gave it to me." Bandit replied.
Raven even seemed to look at Akira suspiciously. "What's she want for it?" She asked.

"Nothing, promise. It wasn't much, and I've got more anyway. My account gets refilled every month, so it wasn't a big deal. I can give you more sometime if you want..." Akira said. "And, uhm... I heard from Bandit-san that you were looking for a job, so I mentioned that there are a few places that the Sohmas--my family--own, so if you end up not being able to figure anything out, you could get jobs there," she added.

"Eh?" Raven seemed surprised. "Ah, that would be good. I'm looking at the nursing home. I won't get very good payment and the jobs will be... Eh, but it will help me with a medical career." She said laughing a bit.
"Flight will take a job though." Bandit added thoughtfully.
"Yeah, she'll do anything." Raven said looking off to the side. The words had more meaning then the obvious one.
"Yeah, yeah. But should we go home or what?" Bandit added the question to draw attention away from other meanings.
Raven nodded to Akira. "Bandit can walk you home. I'm gonna go find Flight. You can come back home whenever." She said walking back to the fire escape and getting down. "Don't get yourself into anymore trouble." She called before leaving.
"Huh... Figures." He stated sighing and running a hand through his hair.

"Nothing is free. Er... For the most part. The problem is, we don't want to have to owe anyone, anything." Bandit replied standing up and walking over to her. "It's just the way we are." He added shrugging.

"I didn't think so." Bandit said shrugging. "And she'd rather clean. Were's drown easily." He said. "Not that I'm saying she's afraid of a little water, I'm just pretty sure she'd prefer cleaning." The boy added shrugging. Turning to the top of the fire escape he looked down as the distancing something. Then, instead of using the ladder, he jumped off and landed on the first thing.
"Haha, told Raven I could do it... Although that one wasn't that far down." He said sounding triumphant.

Akira laughed, amused. "Nice. Yeah, I can't do that. I'm more for running. I'm sure you could beat me at a race, though." She climbed down as quickly as she could. "Anyway, all right. I'll talk to my cousin's dad. He owns the building. We've got a family friend that works as one of the janitors there. Her name's Tohru Honda. I've never really gotten to know her, but other family members say she's great. She's very nice."

Bandit nodded and jumped up on the bar part of the fire escape. He leaned down and held onto it looking around now also. "Yeah, but Flight is faster. Thus her name, Flight. Looks like she's flying when she runs." He said turning to her and smirking. " 'course horses run fast." The boy added laughing a bit now. He went down the next ladder then slid down the last. Once he landed on the ground he wiped the palms of his hands on his jeans then shook his hands and looked at them.
"Sliding down a ladder with just your hands makes them feel weird." He stated. Some may wonder how 'mature' he was. Well, he wasn't really 'mature' at all. Although, he did seem to see the city as a big playground. To try new things, dangerous or not, was interesting and fun. Some times his only way of fun.
((Teehee... You know what I mean by he slid down, right? XD))

"I'm sure it does!" Akira said, laughing again. "I think it might hurt my hands, I don't do stuff like that much. My cousin Ritsu might be able to do something like that..." She merely climbed down the ladders, not doing any stunts like he did.
"Do you really want to know what I am?" Akira asked him.

Then a poof, and a horse stood there.

"Wow. A horse. Hey! Those are like from the Zodiac." Bandit said. He glanced off to the side noticing her clothes. "So you change like wolves do also." He said. Yes, he had gone through the no clothes thing several times. Nudity did not bother his pack. Of course, they did still have some sort of modesty in that respect. But to them it's like with doctors, a body is a body.
"How do you change back?" He asked tilting his head.

"We just... change. We have no power over it." Akira said. Luckily, for once the clothes didn't rip when she'd transformed. That was fairly lucky. How she'd managed that, she didn't know.

"My parents told the story to me when I was younger. And Flight too. She still tells it, just to remember things." Bandit replied shrugging. "And that's interesting. We change easier around the full moon and when the full moon comes around we have no choice. As long as Flight's there we normally don't... Do anything that would cause a lot of trouble." He replied finding it odd that he was talking to a horse.
"So... How does the shifting work?" He asked.

The horse shrugged, which is something strange since it's difficult to imagine a horse shrugging.. "Well, I change when I'm stressed out, weak, or when I hug the opposite sex. It's a curse."

Bandit shrugged. "For a while that's what we thought our other side was. Er... Our wolf. It's not. I guess yours would be... Sort of..." He shrugged. The boy didn't quite understand. "So is there eleven other animals?" He asked. "Er, and the cat." He added.
