Race ya. She challenged him. Shade was really fast, since she was smaller, sleekier, and not as bulky as the other wolves in her pack. She coiled up her muscles for a breif moment before catapulting herself into the woods. Her head was down to produce a more stream-lined figure and her tail was also down. The wolf took long strides, pushing herself to go faster.

Kyo wasn't exactly muscular either. He never had been, despite the martial arts. This made him quick as well.
Hey! Not fair! He thought, darting after her and catching up fairly quickly. This is weird. I used to be a cat, and now I'm basically as opposite as you can get.

Kyo was neck and neck with Shade. It would probably be a tie, and then they'd argue again over who won... as was how it usually ended.
I've never gone this fast before. Well, maybe I have, but that was different... The last time he'd run this fast was the first time Tohru saw his monster form. That'd been horrifying, and he thought she'd reject him. But this time, he wasn't exactly panicked about anything at all, and it was fairly relaxing. So long as he didn't concentrate on the fact that he'd be turning into a wolf every full moon, he was having a good time...

Shade also pushed her body to go faster. She narrowed her eyes and she actually felt like she was flying. Like Kyo, she had never gone this fast before in her life. It was wonderful. It was one of the few things that she liked about being a werewolf. The speed. The strength, was another thing.

And of course, Kyo pushed himself even harder. He would not lose.
Eventually they reached the house. A tie. But Kyo was SURE that he'd won.

Yeah, whatever! I was here way ahead of you! Protested the black wolf, a bit jitterly from the run. She panted, and her tail twitched, her body wanted to keep on running.

Whatever. Shade said with a roll of her eyes towards the ginger stripped and white wolf. Shade shook her furry maned head for a moment, before looking up at Adam's house. Guess we could wait for one of them to come out after they sence us, but if noone's home that might take a while and we might end up having to wait untill sunrise. She told him.

Shade laughed herself, sounding more like a hyena though.
Yeah, he was scared out of his mind, funniest thing that I've ever seen. She said, laughing again, managing to sound more like a wolf. She would probably growl at him next time she saw him just to see if the color drained from his face. She was glad though that Tadao hadn't run when he first saw her. True, he was freaked, but he didn't yell or run, he actually managed to stay semi-calm during her first transformation. Yet Kyo handled the situation the best when he saw.

Had he known it was you, he probably wouldn't've been as scared, but that was funny. Plus, he was probably worried about Tohru, too... but still, he'd never looked more cowardly. I'll have this over him forever. Kyo was in a very much lighter mood, recalling that look. Y'think he'll be at the house tomorrow? He laughed again. The sound was pretty strange.

Yeah. He does. I still get the creeps when I see her though. She did force me to drink blood, after all. Shade said, grimacing at the disgusting memory.

Yeah, but, you know, when she's her usual self... she's not too bad despite the fact that she likes Yuki, Kyo thought to Shade. She's alright. Not as cool a friend as you are, though. Besides, at first Ember was kinda like Yuki, as far as not liking me goes, I guess. But I think that's just 'cause she didn't know why Yuki didn't like me.

Shade said with a smirk. But she sounds alright. Shade added. She looked over her shoulder, the stars were begining to fade away and there was a slight orange glowing in the distance, which meant that she sun would soon come up and both of them would transform. Whicih also meant both of them would be naked. Shade just figured as soon as she got her hands back she would go into Adam's house and borrow some of his daughter's clothes...
