"Thanks." Murmured Crystal. She had tried her best not to flinch away from the doctor as he worked on her. But shapeshifters and vampires were supposed to be enemies, she wasn't supposed to have one dressing her wounds.

"You should be good to go," Hatori said simply. "Try not to strain yourself, and your arm should be healed by... ah... well, judging by your quick accelerated healing process, you'll be alright by the middle of next week..."

Crystal now stood up.
"Sorry for breaking your wall... and attacking you." She appoligized, rubbing the back of her neck with her good arm a bit uncomfortably.

"Actually, I'm glad you attacked me. If you hadn't, I would have killed Akito and then I'd have an angry Devon after me," Hatori replied, allowing himself to smirk just slightly. "And the breaking the wall thing... that can be fixed, I suppose. Considering Ki-- whatever that thing was that took over Kira's body is the one that sent you flying through it."

Crystal laughed slightly. But her voice held very little amusment.
"She'll be back, I know that for sure. She won't just leave, she wants to make Kira feel as much pain as possible for some reason, and that might be through hurting the ones she loves." Crystal said. But then she shrugged. "That's just what I think she'll do, anyways."

"Well, I don't want you to be the one fighting her off, with these injuries. Have another werewolf do it. Of course... don't have them kill her or anything. It is still Kira," Hatori said.

Crystal nodded, but grimaced slightly at the last part.
"What if killing her is the only way to get that thing out of her, Hatori?" Crystal asked, perfectly serious.

Crystal sighed and closed her eyes, feeling terrible that she was doing this to Hatori. But she had to tell him the truth.
"It won't leave unless it wants too. And who says that when it does leave, that it'll leave Kira perfectly unharmed? Leaving her body might kill her, too." Crystal told Hatori.

"No... no... she'll be okay, she's not going to die. That thing isn't going to kill her. I can't lose her, I won't let it happen," Hatori said, almost as if to himself, rubbing his temples. He didn't have a head ache, but he was trying to get himself to concentrate so he could think of something.
Shigure's lips tightened and his mind went to Kana. Would something similar to that happen to Hatori again?

Crystal sighed again. "I am so sorry, Hatori." She told him. "We won't give her up with out a fight, but she might not make it." She told him. She meant 'we' as in the shapeshifters.

Hatori didn't respond, but turned away from her. Shigure walked up to his friend and put a hand on his shoulder.
"It'll be fine," he said.
"What if Crystal's right?" Hatori asked Shigure suddenly, his gaze tortured.

Hatori looked over his shoulder. He'd forgotten Tadao was here. With Shade, as well.

Shade remained silent. Her mother might die? No. She didn't believe it.
"I didn't see a date." Shade said. "So she's not going to die." She said it with no trace of doubt in her voice.
