Wesley turned to face him.
"Yes... she's my cousin." Wesley responded. How did this man know her? "How do you know her?" He asked, interested.

"My cousin and best friend is her husband," Shigure said. "Hatori Sohma. Their wedding wasn't too long ago."

Wesley nodded. "I see... I'm glad that she has finally moved on after her first husband." Wesely said. He missed Lee, but he was gone now. Kira had been clinging onto his memory, not wanting him to fade away.

"Yes. I am happy for Hatori, too. He has needed someone for a long time now," Shigure said.
He glanced over at Mayuko, who had turned away from everyone else. Was she crying? He could have sworn her shoulders were shaking slightly.
"Crystal, we should continue our walk, and stop bothering Arata-san," Shigure stated. If Mayuko was crying, and Wesley was as nice as he seemed, the man would try and comfort her. Maybe there would be sparks.

"Alright." Crystal said. "Bye, Wesley, Mayu." She waved slightly and headed for the door.
Wesley looked at the woman couriously.
"... are you alright?" He asked.

Shigure exited with Crystal, that almost wicked grin still playing on his face as he left with her.
Mayuko turned to Wesley in slight alarm, and flushed, wiping the tears away. She'd forgotten he was there, really. After Shigure had mentioned Hatori's marriage to Kira, she'd blocked everything else out and had began to cry without realizing it.
"I-I'm fine," she stammered out. Tears were still in her eyes, as if stuck there, though.

"Why are you crying? It's obvious that you are not fine." Wesley said to her, smiling slightly as the girl attempted to hide her tears.

"It's nothing. I am very happy for Kira-san and Hatori-san," Mayuko replied. Her voice cracked as she said Hatori, though. Ugh, she was so angry at herself. Why did she have to cry? This was embarrassing. Then she wondered if Wesley would mind if she just wailed like a child for a minute or two. Hatori hadn't minded.

"I am," Mayuko admitted. "But I'm still glad that Hatori found someone that makes him happy. Kira-san is very fortunate," she murmured, truthfully. Then she allowed herself to wail, like a child. Loudly, too. "Waaah!"
She carried on like that for about a minute or two, then sighed, looking a bit relieved, wiping the rest of the tears away. She smiled slightly. "It really is relieving, to have a nice good cry once in a while," she commented.

Wesley did nothing but blink and as she wailed.
"Oh... okay." He said Mayu. "So... do you often cry for no reason?"

Then, she added defencively, "And it was for a perfectly good reason!"

"Well, the first time, so much had been going on, with Shigure loving to meddle with my life and all that crap. And then, this time, Shigure's still trying to meddle in my life, and he just had to bring up that one subject. And besides, we adults usually forget that it's alright to cry, and we hold it in. We don't have to do that." Mayuko shrugged. "See? I'm teaching you something," she added sarcastically.
((XD I love playing Mayu. She once hit Kyo in the face with a folder. LoL))

Wesley chuckled again. "I guess, yeah." He said. "So what subject sis Shigure bring up that made you want to cry?" Wesley asked, trying not to pry, but wanting to know.
