She smiled a bit as well.
"Oh yeah... I'm sorry for hitting you the other day." She murmured to Hatori, a bit embarrassed about her outburst.

((Is this before or after Kira regains her memories? XD))

"You hit Nii-san?" Tadao asked, sounding surpised, but he didn't sound too upset. No wonder Hatori had a bruise on his jaw...

Hatori smiled. "No problem. It just hurts to smile. Ow. Just kidding," he chuckled a bit at the end.

She laughed aslight.
"Yeah, I hit him. I kinda lost my temper." She said with a slight smile. "Thank God Kyo was there to stop me from doing anything more then punching him..." She said thoughtfully.

Tadao laughed.

"Yup, Kyo was a big help," Hatori said. "But I don't think you should be sorry about hitting me. I kinda deserved it for being so stupid."

What...? Tadao was confused now. Hatori was being stupid about something. What?

Shade grinned at the confused expression on Tadao's face.
"Hm, it looks like Hatori didn't tell you. Well, when I saw you, you seemed really too depressed to talk to anyone." She said, the last sentence directed towards Hatori. She turned her attention back to Tadao. "Hatori erased my mothers memories of her ever even meeting him. He was convinced that the relationship would end up terribly. But the truth was, both of them were lost with out each other." She said. She stopped talking though when she noticed that she was rambling on a bit.

"So that's why you looked so depressed," Tadao said to Hatori. Then he directed his eyes back to Shade. "I'd ask him, but he wouldn't answer."

"I'd be deep in thought. To be honest, I barely hear half the things said to me," Hatori chuckled. "Shade's right. Kira and I are lost without eachother."

"thinking about what?" She asked Hatori. She just thought that he would be zoned out, like her mother was, thinking about nothing really.

[Akkii]

"Well, I'd try to keep myself busy thinking about work, but my mind would wander back to your mother. So I used up a lot of my energy to just think about things not relating to Kira," Hatori explained. "Didn't exactly work."

Shade seemed to think about that for a moment.
"Heh." She finally said, not really having anything else to say. She looked back over at Tadao, then back at Hatori.
"... She's been doing alot better now." She admitted quietly.

[Akkii]

"Good," Hatori said.

Tadao smiled. He knew about Kira's bad health. "I'm glad," he murmered.

((Has Tadao met Kira in person? XD We should have him go to Shade's house! ^^))

She nodded, obviously happy that her mother was well. She smiled a bit.
"And it's all really thanks to you, Hatori. I don't know what would have happened if she never met you." She said with a slight chuckle.

[Akkii]

Hatori smiled. "Thanks, Shade. Hmmm, why don't we all head down to your house, if you don't mind? Akito's feeling particularly well today, so there won't be any need for him to be calling me."
He didn't know Tadao knew Akito was a girl.

"That's fine with me." She told Hatori with a slight smile. She got up off the couch, finally pulling away from Tadao.

Tadao stood up too. "It'll be nice to really meet your mom," he said to Shade, putting his arm around her shoulders.

Hatori smirked. "Come on," he said, leading them outside of Tadao's place and down the hall, down a flight of stairs to the first floor and then outside.

Shade blushed a bit, but she put her arm around Tadao's waist and followed Hatori out.

Hatori unlocked his car and got in.

Tadao stopped having his arm wrapped around Shade and opened the door to the back for her to get in. After she had got in, he followed.

Hatori drove the car, they sat in silence, but it was a comfortable silence.
They got out.

"How is your uncle, Shade? What was his name again...? Lawliet, right?" Hatori asked Shade.

Lawliet appeared behind Hatori eating a cupcake. "I'm eating. So I am good." He said taking another bite of his cupcake.

Kyoshi walked out of the house behind him.
"Hey! those are mine!" She hollered at him, waving her arms a bit and rushing to throw her arms around his waist in a desperate attempt to get her half-eaten cupcake today.

Lawliet turned to look at her. "Here." He said handing her the half-eaten cupcake.

"Gah! I don't want it now!" She said, thrusting it back into his hands before skiddering off into the ho use, not even notcing the visitors.

Shade watched the scene. "Heh. You can um... pretty much expect that for the whole time that you are here." She told them with a slight smile.

Lawliet looked at the cupcake and shrugged before eating it.

"You've got some crazy family," Tadao said with a joking tone. "So you're Lawliet?" He looked over at Shade's uncle.

"I am L." Lawliet replied monotonous.

"Yeah that's Lawliet." Shade replied. "C'mon, let's go inside." She said, taking both of the men by the wrists and pulling them inside.

Tadao and Hatori walked in after Shade. They were being pulled in anyway. Haha.

"Hiiiii Shadiiiiiiieee!!" A young girl said, jumping up and down. "Who're they?" She pointed to Tadao and Hatori.

"Shade, is this a relative of yours?" Tadao asked with a laugh, noting the bright green eyes.
