Kira held the washcloth to the bite, flinching as the material touched her skin.

Hatori walked over to her and waited a few moments, then removed the wash cloth. The bleeding had slowed down. He studied it, very gently feeling along her neck, just in case.
"Good, good, she didn't get your artery. Thank God, you're going to be fine," He said, smiling at her. He kissed her cheek.

Kira felt her neck. The touched the cresant shapped mark lightly.
She breathed out a sigh of relief when Hatori told her it was going to be fine.
"I'm so sorry, Hatori..." She told him softly.

"What are you sorry for? You didn't do anything wrong," Hatori said, walking over to the counter on the other side of the room again to grab some bandages.
"You're still bleeding a bit. Let's cover it for an hour or two." He said, pulling a long lenght of bandage off the roll. He gently started wrapping it around her neck. "Tell me if I do it too tightly."

Kira nodded, remaingin silent as Hatori bandaged her neck.
"I feel like it was my fault." She said to him, her green eyes looking at him she he leaned over her, gently wrapping it around her neck.

"Nahh, it's not your fault. Angel, or Ember, whatever you'd rather call her, did this. Ember is Yuki's girlfriend. She's not usually like this. But sometimes she snaps. This is only the second time, as far as I know," He said, finishing up bandaging her neck. He cut the extra bandaging off with a pair of scissors, then secured it with a safety pin.
"How bad does it hurt?" He asked worriedly.

The coners of her mouth turned up in a small smile when he worried for her.
"I'll be fine." She said to him softly, reaching up to kiss him on the cheek.
"Do you know why she snaps?" She asked.

"Not sure. Last time it was a song from her past that she heard often. This time... I'm not sure what it was," Hatori said.

"...are you alright?" She asked him, meaning if he was still startled or scared. She didn't want Hatori to worry over her.

Hatori grinned. "I'm fine. A bit steamed about the fact that she even layed a hand on you, but I'm fine," He told her, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

She smiled up at him. "Thank you, I'm glad she didn't hurt you." She said to him. She honsetly didn't know what would happen if Angel had bitten or killed Hatori.

"Probably. It's difficult to treat your own wounds sometimes," Hatori said, chuckling that gravelly chuckle of his.
"I sure hope that Angel gets back to being Ember soon. It causes much of my family problems," He sighed.
