Devon almost winced. He was a monster as well. Did Akito think he and the other Cullen's deserved to be locked up?
"I'm also a monster, Akito." He said to her. "And don't say that I'm not. You know I am. I feed on the blood of living things to sustain myself." He said.

Despite the fact Devon told her not to say he wasn't a monster, she objected. "You aren't a monster, Devon. No matter what you say. You're sorry, right? I mean, for all the past.... wrongdoings. Kyo's mother committed suicide because of him, and he didn't even cry when she died. He wasn't even sorry."

Akito smirked. "Maybe. I don't think Kyo's that way though," She said.
But there was something she often thought about when she thought of Kyo. Even if she did dislike Kyo, she sometimes felt an even stronger hatred for his father, who abandoned him.
She clenched her fists at the thought without realizing it.

Akito shook her head. "Wasn't you. Just... well... maybe I do dislike Kyo. But someone who I hate even more would be that father of his. He basically abandoned Kyo. Ugh, I'm disgusted with so many parents in this family," her fists clenched tighter.

Akito sighed. "Fine, but I'm sure you understand why I'm getting so worked up," She said, glancing down at the picture then suddenly blushing. It was of her, another baby picture. She had a towl wrapped around her, but it was falling down, revealing some of her upper half. Of course, it probably wasn't as big a deal when the child was a baby, but it was still embarrassing. Her hair was soaked in the image, clinging to her face. She'd just gotten out of the bath tub. She wondered who had taken that picture, her father or Shigure. Either may have done it.

"Agh, don't look at that!" Akito said, cheeks growing a brighter shade of red, covering the rather embarrassing picture with her hand. In a picture near it it showed her clinging onto Hatori's leg, saying something. Hatori seemed to be chuckling in the picture.
"Mm, I remember that one. Hatori, Shiguer, Ayame and Kureno were heading off to school and I was begging them to take me with them," she chuckled.

"Four," Akito chuckled. "It was the 'Mabudachi's' first day of junior high, Kureno's first day of fifth grade. Neh... Shigure had to litterally pry my off of Hatori's leg. I tried to kick him."
