Layla skipped around her room, putting more ornaments on the Christmas tree, garland around everything she could, hanging stockings over her closet, and, as a bit of a joke, mistletoe over the door. With a few finishing touches, Layla finally stepped back and admired her last-minute decorating. She skipped out the door and walked down the hallways, humming 'Deck the Halls' looking for someone to talk to.

Momiji was also skipping around the halls. Even thought most of the Sohma family was not Christian, they celebrated Christmas. The entire Main House was decorated, and so was the HUGE garden outside the Main House. The short-ish blonde curly-headed boy smiled when he saw Layla. "Hey, Layla!" He waved.
((Momiji's a bunny. He's fifteen, but looks between six and twelve. He's just the cutest thing. He acts like a little kid, too. But he's also very mature. Just filling you in. ^^))

"Good afternoon, Momiji." Layla called cheerfully. She quickly tied her long blonde hair up and looked at him. "I can't wait until Christmas." she said excitedly, looking around at all the decorations.

"I know! It's tomorrow! Maybe you can come with me to Tohru's, Yuki's, Kyo's, and Shigure's house for Christmas!" Momiji said excitedly. He was shorter than Layla. He could easily pass as a little kid.

"That would be fun!" Layla replied cheefully. "So, did you put up any decorations?" she asked him. "It's funny, you know. Hardly any of us are Christians, yet Christmas is easily the most important holiday to us." she said thoughtfully.
