A bird sat in a nearby oak tree. A lavender-haired, violet-eyed boy sat on a bench. A breeze was blowing slightly, making his hair blow into his face. He'd brush it away every so-often.
Yuki was enjoying this relaxation. Honda-san, Kyo and Shigure were back at the house. The sun was getting to the point where it was shining directly in his eyes. He sheilded his eyes with his hand, his eyes squinting. He was beginning to doze off and figured he felt like taking a walk, so he didn't fall asleep in the park. Wouldn't that be funny.
Yuki stood up and walked. He smiled as he walked by the toys on the playground at the park and some little kids back at him. He went on his way and coughed a few times. He decided to rest. Today was a really good day. He saw someone walk by. He felt like talking with someone so he looked up at them and smiled. "Hello." He said politely. The girl looked like she wasn't from japan, but from the United States. "Are you new around here?"

Ember turned, being careful to stay in the shade. She had been cursing herself for coming out on a sunny day. Her words were too fast and too low for anyone but a vampire to hear. It just looked like her lips were trembling.
"Yes." she responded, her voice was like velvet . She waited for the other person to say something else.

Yuki nodded. "I thought so. Welcome to Japan... err... I'm sorry, what's your name?" He grimaced. "I'm Yuki Sohma."

"Thankyou. I'm Ember Cullen." Shesaid. Her voice was as smooth as silk. "I'm here with my family. You mightof heard of my adopted father, Carlisle? He's a doctor." She said, brushing some of her red hair out of the way.

"I'm sorry, I haven't. I don't really know of many doctors except for my cousin." Yuki laughed.
Then for the first time he noticed how pale Ember's skin was. It looked like Akito's. Yuki wondered if most people from America had that color of skin. He decided to ignore it.
"So, when did you move here? It must have been pretty close to the end of the year... I never saw you at school." Yuki said.

"Just a couple of days ago." Ember said. "My family moves around every where. Not that I mind. It's intresting to meet others." She said. She didn't mean others by humans...she ment otehrs by Vampires. Of course, Yuki didn't know that.

Why does he keep on making that funny sound? Is he sick? Ember thought. She didn't remember what it was like to be sick.
"I guess" She said and began to mumrer again. Too fast and too low for the human ear to hear clearly, but she was sure he heard 'Volturi', 'Alice' and 'Predicted'.

"Nothing nothing. I think it would be best if we were walking." Ember said.
Michell stood at the oppisite end of the park. The Human eye wouldn't see him, for he was in the shadows, but any Vampire could see and smell him there.

"Too sunny. Not green enough" She said, walking carefully in the shade. Her smooth pace was so litheful, it would break any ballerina's heart.
That's when she felt it. And Electrical shock strong enough to knock a person off their feet. She gasped and stopped walking for a moment

Yuki's eyes widened. "Are you okay?" He asked her. Followed by this was a slight coughing fit. "Sorry, my anemia's acting up again."

Ember looked at Yuki with a bit of horror mixed with surprise. Is this what Alice meant? The Volturi? Maybe theres more then one! Maybe Yuki is a Volturi.
Her amber eyes darkened to black. "Stay away from me." She hissed out.

"It's too late. Alice saw you coming." She said.
Mitchell came from behind and placed his hand on Ember's shoulder. It was as strong as steel. Ember quickly broke away befor his grip cold get any tighter.

Instinctively Yuki sent Mitchell a hard kick. What was going on, he didn't know, but he didn't think this person was good.

Mitchell didn't even sway a bit at the force of the kick. Ember turned around and punched Mitchell. The sound of boulders banging together. HIs head went to one side and he kicked Ember. Another sound of boulders clanging together. You'd think these people were made out of rocks. Ember flew down to the ground, but came back up with one fluid movement.
