The vampire walked through the city. His amber colored eyes scanned the crowd. He was rather attractive, tall with ink-black hair. The amber color was just as strange as his last color, bright green. Even in his casual outfit of a simple white shirt and jeans he looked like he should be a model.
But he didn't care. He didn't have her, so it didn't matter. Nothing mattered.
Lee Sato walked through the city casually. He ran his pale hand through his dark hair once, before letting it fall back into it's messy position. He looked around once, before turning a street corner. He passed the police staition, and he felt feeling of pain and anger. He winced, not liking those feelings.
And, in his moment of distraction, he ran into someone.
((Ugh, not good at all, but whatever. XDD))

((S'kay.))
Zenri was really focusing on getting people out of her head. The woman hadn't been paying attention and sort of figured it had been her fault. Although she couldn't read this ones mind. Kind of like some other peoples minds. They were blank... So she just couldn't read them. Little did she know this was because she couldn't read vampires minds. Although, he brother could but he could also control his mind reading a lot better then her. She had just come out of the station from work, in her street clothes when she was ran into.
The blond glanced up at who she had run into, or the other way around. It seemed to have been mutual, since neither had been paying attention. She looked up at the taller man, not that she had to look far she wasn't too short. Avoiding mentioning something stupid, like, say, the fact that she couldn't read his mind. Which was actually comforting, because now she could focus on him and hear nothing. Amazing! "Er... Sorry. Wasn't paying attention. Thinking... To much..." Normally she was more out there. Right now she was a little oppisote. Okay, completely oppisote.
((Bleh...))

Lee shook his head. "S'fine, my fault, really. I was... thinking to much too." The vampire said, looking down at the taller girl. Not that he had to look down much, which was a nice change. Although Kira had been-and still was- short.
He blinked once hard and forced the image of the pretty woman- the pretty married woman- out of his head. That was kinda wrong, thinking about a married woman like that. Although, she had once been married to the girl. He blinked again and once again, had to force the girl out of his mind. "By the way, I'm Lee." He told her, holding out her hand for him to shake.

Zenri nodded slightly. Still nothing. She took his hand and shook it. "I'm Zenri." The woman didn't ad her last name. It was long and it wasn't something she wanted to mention exactly. His hand was cold though. Being a little oblivious she didn't think to much about it. She did catch the image of a woman when she shook his hand. It was confusing but she didn't get anything else from him. "Then I suppose we're both on the same page of thinking to much." She added with a slight laugh.
((I thought it would be like with Sookie who can't read vampires minds but occasionally catches glimpses from them. XD))

((XDD Kay kay.))
Lee smiled a bit at her. "Nice to meet you, Zenri." Lee told the girl. He looked back up at the police station. "Do you work there?" She asked her with a nod in the direction of the impressive building. But also angry. Yes, to him the building was angry because it was full of angry and tired people. There were a few traces of triumph though. Wither it was because a bad person had been put away, or a bad person managed to sneak away with the help a good lawyer. He didn't know. Lee himself didn't really have a job. Since the person he was had actually been proclaimed as dead. He did odd jobs for people, people who wouldn't ask his name and would pay him in cash. He lived in a small apartment, and once again, he payed in cash. It was almost like Lee was trying to hide for the government. He didn't have a bank account, a credit card, and if anyone asked for his birth certifict, he said it was lost. The hospital that had to burned to the ground.
Sure, Lee didn't like to lie, but it was really his only option.

"Yes. Actually I do." Zenri said glancing down. She looked back up at him. "You don't like police do you?" She asked. The woman could simply tell. Her power, and some of her reading people helped a lot in her line of work.
Reading people, as in their posture as well as their minds. She was just a regular with those things.
((D**n Persians! XD Just teasing...))

Lee blinked. "Well... I don't dislike them..." Lee began, who would have probably been blushing and stuttering if he were still human. "It's just... they wouldn't like me." He said. He was supposed to be dead, after all. They wouldn't be happy right now if they found a walking dead man...

Zenri tilted her head. "Why's that?" She didn't recall him being a criminal that was wanted or anything. Not to mention he didn't really look like a criminal to start with. "You don't look like a criminal..." She said trailing off and looking off to the side.
((Gah... You must have been itching to play Lee cause ALL your posts are better. XD))

((XDDD Not really.))
Lee sighed and looked away. Great, look what you've gotten yourself into this time, Lee. Lee looked back at the pretty blonde. "I'm not a criminal. It's just that government-types don't like me." The man said, running a hand through his thick black hair again. "I don't know why they don't like me." He said to her. More lies. He was already lying to some girl that he hardly knew. Greeaat. This made him feel loads better about himself. He looked at her with his amber colored eyes. Then began to think to himself. They wouldn't like me very much if they found out I was the one stealing blood transfusions from the hospitals... NOt to mention I'm supposed to be in the ground, in a coffin, dead. For several years now, actually... He thought to himself. He chewed on his lower lip. Who knew what kind of mind-reading thing they might have working for him. But he forced himself to calm down, telling himself in his mind that he had become much too paranoid after he had been changed and that he needed to cool down or he'd become a hermit or something weird like that.
"No idea what-so-ever." Lee said, throwing in a smile.
((It's just fun to play Lee. XDD Speaking of him, I need to make his bio... XDD))

((I think I'm going to have her catch a bit of those thoughts. XDD And you do... Both Lee's need made don't they? XD))
Well it was easy enough to see she wasn't getting the whole truth and partially a lie. But she could have done without catching the thought and almost answering it. Why would someone steal blood? Sounded like a vampire... Hadn't her brother warned her about other creatures? He had told her about her Fae blood. She hadn't known. Then he had warned her of other things running around.
Now cold skin, blood, and the fact that she could hardly read his mind, like he was dead or close.
"I see... Been written off before doing something wrong?" She knew better, but she didn't say anything. "I can understand that." The woman added thoughtfully. Since she was normally written off as crazy the first time she answered their thoughts.

Lee nodded, since it was easier to go with that. "Yeah. Happened a long time ago." He told her. Lies lies. He wished he could stop lying. But what was he supposed to say? He glanced back up at the building, wanting to get away from all the bad feelings coming from it. "Hey, Zenri, you want to go to a cafe or something? It's about noon, right?" He asked the girl, tilting his head ever-so-slightly.

Ignoring sense she nodded slightly. "Sure." Why not? Well... For one she was pretty sure he wasn't human. But she wasn't fully human herself. Besides, he was pretty good looking and asking her out. It wasn't like she was the best looking person in the world. At least she didn't think she was. "I know a good place if you don't mind." She stated, not wanting to be rude but she did know a place she had been planning to go too anyway. Now she just had company.

Lee shrugged. "I don't care." He said to Zenri.

Zenri nodded slightly. She walked around him do to the fact that the cafe was the other way. "Where are you from, anyway?" She asked. Her herself had moved from Germany when she was still living with her mother.
((Meh...))

"Actually, I've lived here all my life." Lee admitted. "Heh. Kinda pathetic, huh? I'm twenty-six and I've never moved out of the city." He said with a slight chuckle.

"Nah. There are plenty of people that are that old and have lived in the same house all their lives." Zenri replied laughing a bit. It was a quiet laugh though. She saw no problem with living in the same city for many years. She kinda missed her home country at times.

Lee grinned slightly. "Anyway, where are you from? You don't really look like you're from Japan." Lee pointed out.

"I'm from Germany. My last name is Abendroth." Zenri stated. "Been living in Japan for about five years." She added with a moment of thought as she remembered the years living here.

Lee nodded. "That's interesting, I've always wanted to go to Germany." He said thoughtfully. "Do you have any family here?" He asked.

"My half-brother, but my mom isn't around anymore." Well by that she meant dead. But she spoke about it lightly. It didn't really bother her too much that her mother was dead. She'd been closer then her brother anyway. "It's a nice country though. The towns and such are close together." The woman stated.
