Maliki slipped into the shelter walking back to his room that he had been staying in for a few months now. It was quiet since it was darkening out side. Most of the kids were probably in their rooms doing whatever. He didn't really care. But he did notice one who sat on a chair by the window staring outside. She looked lonely right now and since he wasn't planning on going to bed at the moment he figured he would say hi.
Aidan sat staring out the window thinking about her lost brother. Her and her sister were going to be nine soon. It would be a bitter sweet day. Truly not a good one. She wasn't completely aware of Maliki entering even though he wasn't very quiet.
"Hi. Don't think I've seen you around..." Maliki greeted tilting his head as he walked over and leaned on the wall a few feet away from her.
((Maliki and Aidan told me they felt neglected and wanted role played. I think Nadia wants to join. XDDD It would be interesting if Nadia fell in love with Maliki... It would be like an AkixGure age couple. XD Cause I think he's fourteen and she's almost nine.))

Nadia walked in from her room. She had wanted to go to bed early, but found she couldn't sleep. She saw a boy talking to Aidan, her sister, and walked over to them.
"Hi," she said quietly to them both.

Maliki nodded to her. "Hi. I'm Maliki." He greeted simply.
Aidan looked at her sister and Maliki. "I'm Aidan... That's Nadia my sister." She said introducing herself and her sister.
"Nice to meet you..." He replied trailing off a bit. "So what are you two doing here?" Maliki asked. The only reason he had come here was because he couldn't exactly live outside any more. It was getting to hard.

"Our dad..." Nadia's lip trembled a bit. It wouldn't hurt telling Maliki, would it? "...killed our mom and our little brother. So we ran away."

Maliki nodded sympathy in his gaze now. "I'm sorry to hear that." He replied calmly. Well it was worst then his past. He hadn't been abused or anything. Just abandoned.
Aidan had tensed as Nadia spoke. They hadn't told to many people. "What about you?" She asked looking at Maliki.
"Oh. Er... I didn't really know my parents or family." He replied swiftly after his stumbling beginning.

Maliki shrugged. "It's not that bad." He replied. "How old are you two?" He asked glancing at the two.
"Eight." Aidan replied, leaning back against the window sill.

((I was thinking of plots and I think I came up with a gooden. XD
I was thinking that Aidan and Nadia's father could find them here and tries to take them back. But Maliki finds out and gets into an argument with their dad(forgot his name). Since Maliki is a were-wolf I thought he could get really mad and turn into a were-wolf when (dads name) is arguing with him.
So what do ya think?))
"Ug... Parents. Why have kids if your not going to take care of them?" He asked looking down and shaking his head.

Nadia shrugged. A random thought popped into her head. "Maliki," she said quietly. "Aidan and I aren't very good at reading... could you teach us?" Hey, it was random, but he was an older kid and was probably pretty good at reading.

Maliki was a bit surprised. "Uh... Okay." He said shrugging. "Why not?" He added. For a moment he wandered how he would teach them. He had never really taught anyone anything before. "I wouldn't be sure how to teach you though." Maliki finished looking at Nadia as he spoke.

"Great!" Nadia said, grinning. She and her sister didn't grin as much as they'd used to, since their brother had died. "Let's start tomorrow..." she yawned. "I'm sleepy."

Aidan nodded and gave a polite smile before slipping off the chair. "Yeah lets go to bed." She said walking back to her own room.
Maliki nodded simply going back to his room also.

Nadia followed her sister, since they shared a room. "He's nice," she commented with a small smile. When they reached the room she quickly changed into a night gown. All their clothes they'd brought were clean now because there was a washer and dryer here.

Aidan glanced at Nadia. "Mmhm..." She agreed as though uninterested. The girl changed just as quickly as her sister.
