I'll Miss You

[Akkii]

"Thanks, Nii-san," Tadao said. Wow, Shade and the cat were friends? Interesting. He figured he'd call Kyo. He dialed the number.

"Hello?" Yuki answered the phone.

"Hey, Yuki. Can I speak with Kyo?"

"Sure," Yuki said. He held the phone away from his ear a bit, and Tadao heard Yuki call, "Baka Neko, get over here! Somebody wants to talk to you!"

He heard Kyo call back, "DON'T CALL ME THAT! I'M COMIN'!"

Then Kyo was on the phone.

"Yeah?"

"Um, do you think you could call Shade for me? I tried calling her cell but she won't pick up." Tadao replied.

"Sure. I'll call you back." Kyo hung up, tried Shade's number. Nobody picked up. He tried again. Nothing. "I swear, if her uncle did anything to her..." He muttered under his breath. He rode his bicycle to Shade's house. The driveway was empty. He pounded on the door. No answer. He tried the door. It was locked. He sighed and rode back to his house and called Tadao.

"Yeah, something's wrong Tadao. Nobody answered the phone. I went to see if she was home but nobody was there. Did you check with Hatori?"

"Yeah, I did."

"Da**! Well, I can't help you. Call Hatori or something." Kyo hung up, concerned. He didn't want to let the concern touch his voice before he hung up.

Tadao called Hatori and told him everything.

[Platinum]

Hatori now was puzzled. Shade, even though she showed differently, was a people person. She didn't like to be alone. It was strange that she wasn't with someone...

"I don't know where else she might be, Tadao." Hatori said, concerned.
"Do you want me to check her house, even though Kyo did?" He asked his sibbling.

[Akkii]

"Sure, Ha'ri-nii." Tadao said doubtfully.

[Platinum]

"Okay, call you back." Hatori said, hanging up the phone, the driving to Shade's house.

He knocked on the door. Then waited.

he knocked again, this time harder, then waited another five minutes. Still, no answer.

He knocked a third time and waited longer, finally, he concluded no one was home, and called Tadao.
"I just checked her house. She's gone." He said.

[Akkii]

"Where do you think she'd be?" Tadao asked, his brow furrowed. Did something bad happen to her on the way to the restaraunt?

[Platinum]

Hatori paused, not knowing if Shade would like him divulging(sp?) somthing that she had trusted him with.

He figured that it would would help a little bit, so that Tadao wouldn't feel like it was his fault.
"Shade Uncle...is not the nicest man..." He said breifly and quietly.

((I don't play Hatori very well...))

((You are!))

Tadao understood instantly. "Do you think he did something...?"

[Platinum]

"He might have." Hatori told his younger brother. He wasn't going to lie to him.

Hatori got in his car, and started drving towards the main house, then got a better idea.
"I'm sorry, Tadao, but I don't think Shade is going to show. Tell me where you are so I can pick you up." hatori said from his concentrated poistion at the driver's wheel.

[Akkii]

"I'm at a restaraunt. It's older. You know the one that used to be a bar? Shigure's favorite? That one. I can't remember what it's called but you should know where it is, right?" Tadao asked.

[Platinum]

"Yeah." Hatori said.
"I'll be there soon." He said, then hung up. A few minutes later, he pulled in the restaraunt.

[Akkii]

Tadao had been watching for Hatori's car. He walked outside.

[Platinum]

Hatori pulled in next to Tadao. His face had crease-lines in it from his furrowed eye-brows. It was plain and clear that he worried deeply for Shade. He pulled to a stop infront of Tadao.

[Akkii]

Tadao got in the car immediately. "So what are we supposed to do?" He questioned. He had a frown quite similar to Hatori's on his face.

[Platinum]

"I don't know. I guess We could look for her, or we could wait untill she decided on her own to come back." He said.

[Akkii]

Tadao nodded. "All right then. We'll wait..." He sounded reluctant to say the words, because what if she never came back?

[Platinum]

He nodded.
"We'll wait." He said.
