Adalina was back. Back at her mothers house. She had a bruise forming on her face where she'd been hit. It wouldn't take much to get back out. She'd called Xavier and told him she would be back as soon as her mother got lazy. Which wouldn't be long. The girl ran her fingers through her hair. Rubbing her arm, which had a nice sized cut on it from her being pushed and cut, she looked out in front of her. The house was quiet except for the background T.V. noise. Standing up she went to the window and opened it. Looking down at the ground she was on the second floor. Could she get down...?
The walker whimpered. She didn't want to be here. The girl got up on the window sill and turned to hold the window sill and drop down hanging there for a moment. Once like that she let go and landed on her feet but still fell. The girl pulled herself back up and peeked in through the window. Her mother was nowhere to be seen. She left running as fast as she could. Which wasn't too bad. Good. This was hard really. She felt tired and weak. Her face hurt and so did her arm. The wound seemed to have opened back up. Still running finally she stopped after running into someone. The problem was she didn't know who it was. She stepped back her arms bent up in front of her.
"Sorry..." She murmured.
((Can be anyone. Maybe Kenshin would work. XD))

Kenshin had just been out for a walk. The homework was finished. He jumped back, startled. "Oh, sorry--" he cut off and frowned.
"Adalina-san?" He asked, bending just slightly to get a better look at the bruise. "Ah, are you okay?" He looked concerned.

Adalina nodded. "Ye-Yeah, fine." She stated not liking the way her voice had started so she had changed it. The girl turned her head slightly to where her hair covered the bruise. "Just trouble at home. Mom, whatever. Stuff." She mumbled. Well, at least she knew him. This was Kenshin. She liked Kenshin, since he was nice. Not like the men her mother brought home.
" 'm out now though." She added biting her lip and looking back up at him; though she didn't have to look far.

Kenshin frowned. "Did your mom hit you?" He asked. He'd been slapped by his mother, when he was younger and did something bad, but it's not like she did it hard enough to leave a bruise or really hurt him.

Adalina looked down and shrugged. "Doesn't matter. It will heal. She's done worse too." She said shrugging again and glancing up at him. Wouldn't hurt to let him know.

"I would guess that you don't want to go back, of course. Want to hang out with me?" He asked.

Adalina nodded and smiled slightly. "Yeah, I'd like that." She said looking back up at him. Then she tilted her head. "Where to?" She asked glancing behind her as though a little wary. Although she doubted her mother would come after her. Wasn't like the women.

"Well, I've been walking. I'm thinking about heading back to the house, but it's also around lunch time," Kenshin replied. "Are you hungry?"

Adalina nodded. Starving. She hadn't been able to eat while with her mom. A 'punishment'. The girl rubbed the arm that was hurt, glad that it had stopped bleeding.
"Heh, yes. I am." She murmured.

Adalina shrugged and thought. Pizza. She wanted Pizza.
"Er... Know a place with pizza?" She asked looking up at him.

Kenshin led Adalina a few blocks away, to a pizza place.
"Here we go. A pizza buffet."

((Nope and you hadn't heard of Cici's till me and Kira told you about it. XD Sadly Cici's is like all over the states. LoL.))
Adalina smiled. Food. She was quite hungry even though she was used to going a while without food. "Smells good." She murmured looking around; blinking. Then she realized she didn't have any money. Another thought was that Kenshin had invited her here... So he'd probably pay. No big deal then.
"Where do we sit?" She asked glancing around again.

Adalina looked around and hesitantly went to sit down sinking slightly down in the chair. Mostly because she wanted to avoid odd looks due to her bruise.

Kenshin paid, then went over to Adalina. "Come on. Let's get some pizza," he said, taking the hand attached to her uninjured arm and led her over to the counter where they had the pizza. He grabbed a couple plates and handed one to her.

Adalina took the plate and looked at the pizzas that were there. She wasn't very picky about the type she got. So she got what looked good.
"Thanks, Kenshin." She said thanking him again.

Kenshin grabbed a slice of taco pizza, a slice of pepperoni, and one of Hawaiian. They weren't very large slices. Fairly small, actually. He took her back to sit down and smiled at her. "It's not a problem at all," he promised, taking a large bite of the taco pizza.
