Kira was sitting in her room, the door locked and the lights shut off. She was crying, yet. She was looked through pictures, flipping through them with a blank expression on her face.

I can't believe

Shade was up in her room, thinking. The entire house was silent. She was fliddling abset-mindedly with her cell phone. She looked down at her cell phone. She had a few messages... some from Hatori, others from her mother, like, one from Kyo...
She sighed, then dailed a number.

Kira sighed and shut the photo album. She tossed it on her bed and got up. She looked outside. In an hour or so the sun would be setting. The sky was painted bronze and blue right now. The clouds were orange as the sun was about to set.
She unlocked her door and stepped out into the hall way.

She was talking to Hatori. Well, she was doing most of the talking that lasted about twenty seconds.
"You. Be at my house in twenty minutes. Got it?" She then hung up and tossed her phone on her bed. She got off of her bed and walked down the stiars just as her mother was walking through the hall.

"Hey! Mom!" Shade called, Kira looked at her daughter.
"What is it?" Kira asked with a slight smile.
"I invited someone over, 'kay?" She said to her mother.
"... Okay." Kira said. Shade kissed her mother's cheek.
"Okay! He'll be over in twenty minutes, 'kay?" Shade said a bit happily.
"... Okay." Kira said again, a bit confused. Her daughter was strange...

Shade waited upstairs for Hatori, Kira was downstairs right now, talking to her sister while she cleaned up the house a bit.
"Do you know who Shade is inviting over?" Kira asked.
"Nope." Takara said, making a popping noise at the 'p' in 'nope'.
"Oh... okay." Kira said with a bit of a shrug. She wondered if L was going to be around when Shade's friend was going to be here. Probably so. He and Abbi and been there for a while.

Every time that I'm around her
I just go to pieces crashing tumbling to the ground

Shade was now downstairs, sitting on the couch, starring at the door expectatly. Any minute now... Hatori know better then any one, when she said twenty minutes, she really ment ten.
"Anxious?" Her mother laughed.
"Hm... guess ya could say that... is L going to be here?" Shade asked, glancing up at her mother.

"Hm.. yeah, I think so." Kira said.
Shade responded, waiting for the poilet knock of Hatori's on the door.
"So who are you inviting over?" Kira asked.
"A person."
"Well I figured out that much by myself. What's his name?" Kira asked.
There was a knock on the door.
"You'll just have to wait and see! He's here! Finally! Took his precious da** time." Shade muttered the last part and got the door.

Oh yeah, just tell her I love her

Hatori forced a polite smile when Shade answered the door. He bowed deeply. "You invited me over. Is there a problem?"

[LoneWolf]

Lawliet poked his head out of the kitchen. He was eating of course. Who had Shade invited over? He stepped out a curious light in his eyes. He didn't say anything just yet. Since he really didn't have a clue who Hatori was. Although if Kira's memories hadn't been erased he would probably be sick of hearing about Hatori.

"No... just come inside." Shade said, grabbing his wrist and almost roughly pulling him inside.
"Hello, Hatori-san." Kira said, bowing deeply. She had remembered this man from when he helped her...
"L, meet Hatori, Hatori meet L. I think you two would get along..." Shade said, thoughtfully.

[Akkii]

((XD Shade should hug Ha'ri IN FRONT of L!))

Hatori glanced around Shade curiously. Who was this? He was about to ask if this was Shade's uncle, then knew Kira would wonder how he knew...

Shade shot Hatori a glare.
"I'm cleaning up your mess." She told him.
"..." Kira was a bit confused.
Shade pulled Hatori forward and flung her arm's around the bigger man.
Any second now, he would turn into a seahorse.

[LoneWolf]

The only way to explain Lawliet's expression or thoughts would be by using a smiley. O.o That one to be exact.

So he continues to glance at Kira then back to Shade... What would happen?

*Poof*!

A little seahorse laid on the ground on top of clothes Hatori had just been wearing.

"Shade..." the seahorse complained.

Yes, it talked.

"Shut up! You have no right to complain!" Snapped Shade.

Kira stared at the sea horse.

Then, it came rushing back in a whirl of color. Lots of white... a pure color. Then, the mermories played quickly through her head.
"Ah! Hatori!" Kira yelped a bit, rushing over to the sea horse Hatori. "I remember!" She exlaimed a bit loudly.

[LoneWolf]

Lawliet kinda looked at Shade then back at the Seahorse. "You know that defies all logic." He said still monotonous. "Then again so do vampires." He said simply. "Guess it shouldn't be too surprising... But what does Kira remember exactly?" Lawliet asked looking to Shade for an answer.

[Platinum]

"Hatori decided to do something stupid and 'protect' Mom by erasing her memories..." Shade snorted. "She got depressed again. Nice goin' Hatori." She shot the last comment at the sea horse on the ground.

[Akkii]

Uh-oh. Hatori wouldn't be a seahorse for long. "Mm, I suppose I'll explain everything in a moment. Could someone take me to another room or something, I'm about to transform.."

[LoneWolf]

Lawliet nodded and glanced around. He was a bit lost in everything but he would figure it out or get told later. "Wait... Why a seahorse?" He asked looking back at Shade. It seemed like a strange animal to change into.

[Platinum]

'If you hvaen't already figured this part out, Hatori turns into a zodiac animal when he's hugged by the opposite gender... but his form got stuck in the off spring stage." Exlaimed Shade.
Kira had already scooped up Hatori and placed him in her room. She walked out and shut the door.

Hatori soon changed back, dressed and came back to the room.

"S'pose I should explain...?"

"No, I did for you." Shade said to Hatori with a soft sigh.
Kira wanted to fling her arms around Hatori, but she resisted the urge.
"Hatori... I'm so sorry." She said to him.
"Why are you saying sorry? He should be saying sorry!" Shade said a bit loudly. What...? Why was she saying sorry?

[LoneWolf]

"Yeah I got the gender thing. The Zodiac thing now makes sense." Lawliet said simply. He didn't laugh no matter how funny it should have been. Hm... This made Hatori's family as strange as his didn't it?

[Akkii]

"I don't think the Zodiac thing can exactly 'make sense'," Hatori said. Then he turned to Kira. "Your daughter's right, I should be the one to apologize, for erasing your memory like that," he murmered. "I wasn't thinking about what it would do to you."

[Platinum]

"D*** right about that!" Shade almost snapped. But she had gotten a bit calmer now.
"Shade." He mother scolded. But then turned to Hatori. "It's wasn't your fault, I promise." She said to him softly.

[Akkii]

"You can think that if you want. But don't be saying sorry for something you didn't even do," Hatori said to Kira, smiling a bit at her.
