Devon was walking around the country side. He really liked it here. It reminded him of the Sohma Main House. He ran his hand through his platinum blonde hair.
He sighed, his golden eyes scanning the trees and fields. Everything was in sharp detail. He was a vampire again. Ember so far has lasted the longest. He honestly didn't know why. Seemed a bit unfair, but maybe he was just being a bit selfish and childish. He knew that he was lucky to be human for as long as he had.
He leaned against a tree, sighing. The hotel wasn't far from here and he figured he would go hunting but there was nothing here to hunt.
He sighed again, not doing anything.

Akito had been told where Devon currently was by Alice. She'd asked for Alice to let her know when Devon was a vampire again. So now she was walking through the country side, searching for Devon. She saw him up ahead and ran over to him.
"D-Devon," she panted. Hopefully he'd forgive her for being so cruel. Surely he'd believe her, though once he'd heard WHY she'd done it.

Devon glanced over Akito. His eyes narrowed a bit, but he still attempted to be polite.
"Hello, Akito." He said a bit coldly.

Akito bit her lip as it began to tremble. "No, no... Devon, I didn't mean what I said. Please, can I explain?" She pleaded. Tears touched her eyes, her knees felt weak.

"So what did you mean?" He snapped. "What did you mean?"

Akito averted her eyes for a moment, then looked into his eyes, so he wouldn't think she was lying or something.
"When you were human, Hera threatened to kill you if I didn't say what I said..." she explained quietly, her eyes continuing to tear up. She could barely hold them back.

"I don't care." He told her. "I don't care what Hera told you. You're a terrible person." He snapped at her, his golden eyes narrowing and his pupils dilating in anger. "I don't need you." He told her.

Now the tears spilled. Again her knees felt weak. She felt she'd collapse.
"W-what? But... Hera threatened to murder you, Devon. I-I stopped her from hurting you."
((I feel bad for Aki right now, and kinda mad at Dev. XDDDD))

"Don't leave me," Akito murmered quietly. Her eyes were suddenly wide, as if with terror, and tears continued to spill down her cheeks.

"No I'm not! One of the reasons I said that thing would be so you wouldn't think you'd done something wrong!" Akito replied. "I didn't reject you. Not really. I was doing it to protect you. Don't you understand?" There was a desperation in her voice. She wasn't sure what would happen if Devon were to leave her again, and this time never come back.

Akito held her head in her hands for a few moments then looked back up at him. "And I'm telling you now that I didn't mean it. I said it to keep you safe. Devon, this is the third time I've said it to you. Do you believe me?"
