Bother

[Platinum]

Shade sat with Tadao, she was finally out of the hopital, but she was still on some medicine to prevent infections. It was making her sleepy, and the rain wasn't helping much, either. She was with Tadao right now, sitting on his couch, not really doing anything, just injoying each other's precence


She was thinking about Hatori, he had been gone for a while, and she was a bit worried about him. Her mom had also been gone for a while. Shade wondered where they were, the maids wouldn't let her back in her house, so she had spent the night three days in a row at Tadao's house.

On the first night, she got a quick text from her mother saying she wouldn't be back for a while, and she didn't know how long they would be.

"Maybe... they went on vacation... and left us behind." Suddenly said Shade, breaking the silence. She thought about that for a moment.
"I dunno... they wouldn't do that, would they?" She asked Tadao, now looking up at him.

((Bleh. Not a good post. I figured Shade probably went over to Tadao's house since the maids wouldn't let her in their... probably so Shade wouldn't freak out about the mess and they could clean up all the blood. XD I thought about putting the lyrics to Bother in here, but decided against it. XD))

"Nii-san wouldn't do that, and I doubt that your mother would either," Tadao said, smiling at Shade. "Something important probably just came up."

((Will Hatori and Kira show up together? XD Kira can knock. lol))

Shade nodded. "Yeah... you're probably right."

There was a soft knock on the door. Shade wondered who that was.
"I'll get it." She murmured. Then got up off the couch was on and opened the door.

Kira waited for Tadao or maybe even Shade to answer the door. She smiled softly at Hatori who stood behind her.

Shade opened the door.
"Mom! You're back!" Shade said, not really notcing Hatori behind him. She looked up at him, and did a double take.
"Wh-what's wrong with Hatori...?" She asked softly.

Tadao was watching. He blinked. Hatori had red eyes... And he was paler than before, and just a bit different in appearance in other ways, that he couldn't exactly explain.

Hatori carefully took Kira's hand and led her inside, then shut the door.

The scents. Agh, it burned his throat. He took in a deep breath, and held it. Hopefully he wouldn't have to breathe too much.

"Long story short... I'm a vampire."

"You're a what?" Tadao asked, eyes widening a bit. "A.. a vampire? How?"

"A vampire bit me. I changed into a vampire. I'm still learning to control myself, and probably won't be staying at the Main House for a while."

"Have you told Akito yet?" Tadao asked.

"Not yet. I'm still trying to figure out just how to word it..."

Shade bit your lip.
"Why did a vampire bite you?" She asked, staring at him wide eyed.

Wow... he was different.

[Akkii]

"I have no idea. She use one of my surgical knives to hurt me, and then bit me," Hatori replied. He subconsciously ran his fingers down his arm where Angel had left the long, deep gash. There was a light, silvery scar there, though it was only visible in the right light. It was visible in the light of this room. He also had a few silver scars on his face, from when she'd scratched his face with the knife.

"Who's 'she'?" Asked Shade, eyeing the scars.

[Akkii]

Tadao looked like he realized something. "Was it that one girl? Umm, can't remember her name. But she's usually nice, and Yuki's... er, girlfriend? But she went kinda crazy because of something. The one that made Shade drink a kid's blood?"

"Right..." Hatori replied, nodding. "Ember. She's not usually like this. Some sort of thing triggered this side of her, apparently. I'm hoping she's back to normal soon."

[Platinum]

Shade felt like she was going to be sick at the memory.
"Oh. Her." She grimaced.

[Akkii]

"She really is an alright kid, normally. But, when she's not, she's a bit of... well... a nightmare," Hatori said. "But, anyway, not really much to tell." He took in another deep breath as his lungs ran out of air. He did his best to ignore the burning. This part of being a vampire really sucked.

Um, no pun intended. ((XD Sucked. I just realized that that could be a joke. lol))

Shade nodded. "I've seen her once or twice.. usually she justs stya out of eveyone's eay at school." She said.

((Kira and Hatori could go and tell Akito and Akito freaks out...))

"Well, I should probably go speak to Akito now. That's something I shouldn't put off for too long..." Hatori said.

"Good luck, Nii-san," Tadao said.

[Platinum]

"Yeah, good luck." Said Shade.

Kira nodded once, then followed Hatori out.

[Akkii]

Hatori shut the door as he walked out with Kira.

"Thanks for coming with me... but you don't have to come with me to talk to Akito," he told Kira in a worried tone.

[Platinum]

Kira smiled reassuringly at him.
"It's fine. I want to be with you when you tell Akito." She said. She also wondered when they would tell Akito that she was pregnant, probably later. If they told Akito right now, that would probably be too much for her.

[Akkii]

"Are you sure? You really don't have to come," Hatori said, wondering if Akito would take her anger out on Kira. There was no doubt Akito would be angry, and scared, and she'd probably be pretty sad. They were standing outside Akito's door soon.

((I'm gonna have Akito throw a vase at Hatori without thinking, and it's just gonna shatter and he'll be like: 0.0 That didn't hurt. XD))

Kira smiled at him again. "I'll be fine, Hatori." She told him.

[Akkii]

"Alright. Just... try and stay slightly behind me. It'll give me some peace of mind," Hatori said, smiling slightly. He knocked on the door.

"Enter."

Hatori came in warily. Akito was reading a book at her small table. Wow, good smell. He took a deep breath, and held it.

Akito looked almost surprised to see Hatori. "It's about time.... wait, what... Hatori? What happened to you?" She looked alarmed. "Are you a... no... you can't be..." she murmered.

"Vampire," Hatori murmered.

"No! No, why? Who?" Akito demanded.

"Ember..." Hatori replied warily.

"Yuki's girlfriend," Akito said.

Uh oh. Akito was angry. "Mm... yes..."

"I never thought that girl was any good," Akito said.
"Is there anybody else of the family that was attacked by her?" She demanded.

"Yes. Kyo... Yuki--" He barely got to finish his sentence.

"What?! Well, Hatori, aren't you going to do something about her? Punish her! How dare she do that!?"

"Akito, calm down. Ember-san is back to normal. There's no reason to punish her..." Hatori replied.

"Who cares if she's back to normal?! She still did it!" Akito said, standing up. She was outraged. She grabbed the vase (that the maids had to continually replace) and threw it at him without thinking.

Instinctively, Hatori winced. He heard the glass shatter against his chest.

It didn't hurt at all. He looked down. Some of the glass had made little rips in his clothes, but nothing worse than that. He looked down at the shards around him. Wow.

Akito blinked, and stared, in a sort of daze. Obviously, she had calmed down a bit.

"Anyway, Akito, I needed to tell you that I won't be here for a while, until I learn to control my thirst better." Hatori said.

"What...?"

"Don't worry, I won't be gone for long, just until I can have better control. And I'll come visit every now and then, maybe with Devon. But until then, Tadao is going to take over my duties. Carlisle says he'll help out when he needs to as well." Hatori explained.

Akito didn't respond, just sort of stared at the two.
