"Well, I can hardly believe anybody in that family is happy with the curse. It's caused them to be abandoned, or abused, and bound practically by chains to Akito, who clings to the 'bonds' so zealously. It's wrong, how she treats them. So obviously, since nobody is happy, the bonds could never be real, they're just empty promises," Ren replied.

"Of course. One was abused by Akito, and I'm sure you know the story of Hatori's eye. And then there's the fact that Akito shoved one cousin out of a third story window. And, if the maids' gossip is correct, Akito once punched another cousin. His name is Momiji. Not to mention, those cursed by the zodiac were abused by their parents because of what they were. Momiji's mother had her memory erased. Isuzu's parents abandoned her while she was in the hospital, Yuki's parents sold him to Akito, and I could go on," Ren said.

"The only thing that was gossip was where Momiji was punched and where Akito shoved a girl out of the window. The rest is true. Kyo's even had his share of trouble with Akito. You've met Kyo, correct?" Ren said.

"I don't particularly like him, but he's been scorned by most of his family. Especially Akito. His mother killed herself because of what he is. His father despises him. Though, I can't exactly blame his father. It really is Kyo's fault that his mother died," Ren scoffed.
((Ren and Kyo's dad should soooo get together. They're a perfect match! XDDD))

Kira became angry again. Shade had told her about the time she had met Kyo's father.
"It wasn't Kyo's fault." She said to Ren. Kyo was almost like a son to her, she wouldn't stand by and allow this woman to insult him.
