Connor smiled. Good. She forgave him. He put his arms around her and nodded slightly. It appeared that the others had already left. Probably gotten annoyed listening to the arguing couple. "It's fine. I wouldn't and will not lie to you though. You can trust me, Kyoshi." He said looking down at her; still hugging her.

Kyoshi nodded once, and meekly. "I know. I'm sorry. Hasn't been the best week." The girl murmured. She looked up at Connor and she felt the corner of her mouth turn up in a small in smile. "I'm sorry." She repeated, holding him close again. His body was much warmer then an ordinary person's. It was nice, and she liked the body heat coming from him. Even in summer. She got up on her toes and kissed het cheek softly.

Connor smiled slightly and leaned down to kiss her on the lips. He pulled back slightly to look at her. "So what's made this week bad?" He asked tilting his head. Then he glanced off to the side. "Come on. No one's at my house today. We can hang out there." He said with a lopsided grin. The shifter looked off to the side and turned slightly to the side putting an arm around her should to walk her back to his house.

Kyoshi gently touched the hand dangling off her shoulder once before sighing and leaning into his strong and dark body.
"My brother is a drug-addict." She said to him. " And he tried to rape a girl. Now he's living on the streets." She closed her eyes for a moment. "And he hates his whole family, me included." Kyoshi looked sad. "And Moshi want's to talk to me in person, which is never good..." She said to Connor, pressing into his lean body more.

"What? Kiyoshi?" Connor was surprised. He really hadn't expected something like that from Kiyoshi. Any of it. He looked down at her loving having her close to him. "And Moshi... You have to go?" He asked. "It does sound like a bad week." The shifter added glancing at her.

"If I don't go something bad will happen." Kyoshi said softly, figuring the first question about her brother was rhetorical. She put one arm and his waist. "But he can't hurt me, not anymore. I won't let him." She said. A morbid paprt of her brain dryly added.
You hope so, anyway. She swallowed.
"My life is like, spiraling down. I don't know what will happen next." She sighed and closed her eyes again. "I just want it all to stop so I can actually be a normal girl for once." She murmured, part of it just to herself.

Connor looked down at her, sympathetic. "I'm sorry. I could go with you. He wouldn't hurt you with me there. At least, he could try and not succeed." He suggested.
"No one is normal Kyoshi." He murmured. "I love you." The teen added looking back down at her.

Kyoshi nodded once. "I would like that." She said softly, before looking up at him as well.
"I love you, too." She said to him, her green eyes sparkling dully. Dull because she had a rough week, but still sparkling ever-so-slightly because she knew that he loved her.

"Then I'll be going with you." Connor said smiling slightly at her. He pulled her a little closer, only a little because she was already so close, with his arm that was around her shoulders. He leaned down and kissed her on the cheek.
"Love you more." He said teasingly with a smirk. His eyes were bright and held a playful gleam. Since his week had been fairly good, but he still found it was better with Kyoshi here with him.

Kyoshi grinned up at him.
"Nuh-uh. I love you you more." She argued with him playfully. She poked him once in the ribs. "And you know it's true!" She said in an almost sing-song voice. She grinned up at him again.

"I don't know. I love you a lot." Connor said laughing a bit as she poked him in the side. "I love you more then air." He said smirking and laughing a bit. The shifter pulled her around into a hug before picking her up and carrying her. Connor grinned down at her now before giving her a kiss. "I shall carry you to prove it." He said grinning at her.

Kyoshi let out a giggle when she was picked up.
"Aw, is that is?" She pouted playfully, but she still snuggled into Connor's strong arms, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Yep." Connor replied who kept walking. "Hey, look we're almost to my house." He commented nodding toward the house. It was a moderate sized house, plenty big enough for his family. The teen opened the door and walked over to the couch sitting down, while still holding Kyoshi.
"Okay. We're here." He said laughing a bit. Looking down at her he brushed some of her hair to the side and leaned down to kiss her.
"So, are we going to end it with we love each other the same again?" He asked grinning at her.

((Actualy, it was supposed to be, 'Aw, is that it?' but I messed up. >.< XD))
"Yup, I guess we'll just have to settle with that." Kyoshi said, leaning into Connor as he sat down on the couch. Kyoshi returned the kiss with one of her own. She felt like she was being spoiled. And oh, she loved it.
"You've got a nice house." She said, turning her head to look at it all from her spot on Connor's warm lap. "I like it." She decided, returning back to her snuggling with Connor.

Connor smiled and nodded putting his arms all the way around the smaller girl and hugging her a little closer. "Yeah. It's home." He said leaning back a bit more. The shifter ruffled her hair with his right hand a little playfully.
"Ah, I'm lucky to have you." He said smiling at her as he held her, loving having her close to him.

Kyoshi just laughed as he ruffled her hair. She ran her fingers through it.
"Mm, I dissagree. I'm the lucky one. I don't deserve you." She said to him. She placed her own arms around his neck and nuzzling under his chin.
"But I'm going to keep you all to myself." She said to him, closing her eyes.

He added loosening his arms a bit to where he was holding her around the small of her back. "Your a wonderful person Kyoshi. The only thing you don't deserve is pain and misery." He murmured to her.

"Nobody deserves that." Kyoshi said to Connor, resting against his chest now. She gently slipped off of her shoes using her feet. They dropped to the ground next to the couch. She closed her eyes.
"It's sad that it happens to people, anyways." She sighed.

"Yeah..." Connor murmured rubbing her arm lightly. He thought for a moment and looked down at her. "I know how I can prove I love you, and only you." He said in a low voice looking out at the wall. The shifter wandered how to ask her. It would be easy in the long run he figured. "If you want to." He said smirking slightly, wondering if she knew what he meant. The teen kept his arms around her putting his chin over her head.

Kyoshi for a moment, wondered what he meant, but it didn't take long. At first, she didn't know what to think. But then she decided.
She twisted in his arms and slipped out from under his head so that she could look him in the eyes. She was serious for one of the few moment in her life.
"... Yes. I want to." She told Connor, still looking into his face, her voice had also dropped into a softer tone.
