"Pfft. No, not yet. He tried to though." She said, sitting down next to Kyo for no reason really. She sighed, obviously tired. A feeling she wasn't used to feeling. Vampires didn't need sleep. Vampire's couldn't sleep. As a human, this was different.

"Well I guess that's one thing that we can agree on." She said with a slight grimace, meaning that she also hated Aito. She couldn't possibly see how Devon could be attracted to that monster.

She couldn't help but chuckle. Of course, it was a bit dark. She couldn't help it.
"Hm, funny that's what I called him before he came over. I was a vampire then, I guess a bit foolish too, I didn't think that Akito would be able to hurt me. And I also felt that I could protect every one else from being hurt. Now look at me. I look like somebody dragged me behind a truck." She said with another dark laugh.

"You don't look that bad," Kyo chuckled. "You look more like... you were shoved down a mountain of gravel," he joked. "A lot of people wouldn't think Akito could hurt them. But he can, unfortunately. Has blind rages."

"One time we went to the beach house, and Shigure dragged Akito along," Kyo said. "He got mad because Tohru and I were having a good time building sand castles. So he ordered for 'the cat' to come see him. And that's something new. But either way, I went. We talked, then he hit me with a bell. It hurts more than it might sound," he said. "Ehhh, I got over it. I need to be careful now. Can't get close emotionally to Tohru, even though I want to."

"She cares alot about you." Ember said softly; looking over at Kyo. "... and you care alot about her. You can tell." She told him, her voice still soft. She felt a bit sorry for Kyo, plus it kinda hurt to speak any louder then this.

She chuckled a bit.
"Hm.. Kyo. You are really naïve sometimes." She told him. "I think that you two have a very special bond. You love her so much, that you would be willing to give her away to the person that you hate if it would make her happy. I think that you're 'good enough for her'." She said to him.

"You're right. That is confusing. And I'm only telling the truth." She said with a small laugh. "I honestly used to be like you. When I was a kid..." She told him. This had to relate a bit of how she became a vampire in the first place, and why she was so freakishly thin. She hadn't even told Yuki the full story of it all.

She chuckled. "I hated my step sibblings. They were so perfect. At everything. I'm not kidding, either. I would try to be better then them, but they always overshadowed me. And it didn't help that they were younger then me. My mother... she also wasn't a big help. She saw me as some sort of a jinx. I was clutzy, had no real talents, and was no were as beautiful as my sibblings. Thus, I became a bit bitter... not that you're bitter... well, most of the time you aren't." She explained. "Hm, I guess I didn't end up as lucky as you did though... I tried to commit suside. Obviously didn't go according to plan, since I'm still here." She laughed. "Anyways, that's enough about me." She sighed. She shrugged. "I'm over all of that now." She said with a slight smile. She looked past her shoulder, at the porch door. "I wonder if Akito is gone yet." She wondered outloud.

"He's probably not, you can almost feel the tension coming from the house," Kyo grunted. "Y'know, your mom was stupid," he murmered. "You're kinda pretty," he chuckled. "I mean, not kinda. But I don't wanna sound like I /like/ you ore anything," he smirked. "You're good looking. As good looking as Tohru, and the other Cullens, even as a human," he was blushing slightly because he didn't compliment often.

Ember blushed. She felt her cheeks become hot, so she turned her head away from Kyo untill she could recover. She had found that she was blushing alot since she became human. Was that normal?
"Thanks." She said softly. "I've never really been told that before..." She admitted. Yuki and Spike were the only ones who had ever said that she was pretty, and thinking about the time Spike told her that made her sick.
