Her face actually turned pink.
"Hm... I guess it really is that obvious..." She said mainly to herself. "You could say that's how I became a vampire, I guess." She said, not really wanting to go into the subject any further

"Okay..." Kyo said, getting the idea. She'd either starved herself or been starved.
You could hear a sizzling in the kitchen, and the smell of vegetables and chicken now wafted into the room.
"Mm, Hond-san's making stir-fry," he said with a smile.

"It smells really good." She commented with a slight smile. She really had been missing out in a lot out things when she became a vampire.

Yuki looked like he was about to say something, but then Alice walked in.
"Hello Ember!" she said happily. "I had a vision of that guy turning you human," she hugged the girl gently. "Do you like it?"

Alice smirked. "Yeah. Is Tohru cooking something...?" she asked, wrinkling her nose just slightly. Vampires didn't exactly think human food tasted any good.
Most didn't, anyway (*pokes Spike*).

"Says you," Alice said with a smirk. "Hmmm, wonder if I'd forget everything if that guy turned me into a vampire," she chuckled. "Probably. Then you guys would have to try and remind me of everything."

Ember laughed.
"He said it was only for a little while, though." She said. "So I'll probably be a vampire in a week or two." She said. "I should probably get the most out of this that I can." She said.

Alice nodded. "Have fun with it," she said. "Who knows, you might grow before you change back and be just that much taller," she joked, making a little space between her thumb and forefinger.
Yuki laughed.
((Ember's birthday should just HAPPEN to be during the time when she's human. XD))

Alice laughed. "I'm sure you haven't. Hey, when's your birthday?" She asked. She, of course, knew it, because Ember had managed to remember it and so she'd thrown a huge party for the red-head once.

"My birthday is on the tenth." She said to Alice.
"... what are you planning?" She asked with a small smile.

"That," Alice giggled, pointing at Yuki. Surprise party...
"How old will you be turning then. You know, in physical age. And, technically you'll actually age for this one," Yuki laughed.

Yuki smiled. "Really? Hmmm, your birthday is very close to Valentine's day," he said, still smiling widely.
Ooh, that gave Alice an idea!
((My friend Brittney was born on the fifteenth, her cousin, who's another friend of mine was born on the thirteenth. XD))

She nodded. "Mmhm." She said. "I've never really thought of it that way. I used to hate my birthday because it was so cold." She said.
((I had an interesting idea XD Ayame should dress Ember up as a human, in something close to what she would of actually worn when she was alive in the 1900's!))

"Yuki," Alice chirped, then bent to whisper something in Yuki's ear. Thank God, Ember couldn't hear anything. "What's the number to your brother's shop?"
Yuki blinked, and told her the phone number, and Alice grinned. She was going to ask Ayame something... Hee! ^^
"Em, wanna see how the food's coming along?" Yuki suggested, taking Ember's hand.

Tohru smiled at them when she saw them enter the kitchen. She had a pan with rice balls. They looked quite plain, because you couldn't see the filling. But most of them had strawberries or plums. A few had cherries, though. Somehow she'd managed to find some in the fridge. Right now she was working on the stir-fry. Peppers, green beans, pea pods, and other vegetables were in it, along with a lot of bits of chicken.
"Honda-san, the food smells very good. What are the fillings in the rice balls?" Yuki asked.
"The fillings are a surprise," Tohru replied. "Oh, and thank you!" She beamed. "Stir-fry's almost done. Have an onigiri," she added.
Yuki smiled and took two rice balls off the tray, handing one to Ember. "You try yours first," he said to her.
