Ember sat in the living room of their house. Every one else sat doing nothing. Hoping time would pass by faster.

Ember flipped mindlessly through the pages of an Anne Rice book. She wasn't even reading it. She had read it tons of times.

Suddenly, she laughed.
"What?" Asked Emmett, who was watching tv. His eyes were uncaring as he watched the screen flicker infront of him.
"Where to these people get these crazy ideas from? Stake through the heart..." She flipped a page of the book. "...garlic..." She flipped another page. "...holy water...crosses....sunlight...silver arrows...beheading...fire..." Every time she listed something off, she flipped a page in the book. She was just flipped wildly with out saying anything. Her eyes were crazed untill she finally threw the book and laughed bitterly.
"Ember...are you alright?" Edward asked with concern.
"Of course there's somthing wrong! I want to drink his blood soooo badly but I can't! He just taunts me with his smell everytime I get near him! It's INFURATING!" Ember yelled, then she sighed and sat back down.
Emmett and Edward watched with wary eyes. They knew how she felt. The other 'younger' vampires watched her and she grumbled to herself and tried to remain calm.
"Well! Isn't someone going to say anything?" She asked and waited for someone to speak.

Ember got up from her seat and picked her book. She smoothed out on of the pages and went off to return it to her room. Once Ember was out of ear shot, Emmet asked, "Do ya think she'll really leave?" He asked.
