Lunch

Razi sat down at a table, looking around for her friends. Then she wearily poked her lunch with a plastic spork.

Kenny was first to get to the empty table. He sat beside her. He had brought his own lunch to school. "I'll share my lunch with you if you want." He wrinkled his nose. "It's hard to believe that stuff's even food. Doesn't look like it..."

Aura and Kisa came along next. Aura had talked Kisa into sitting with them, telling her it was no trouble. And of course wherever Kisa went, Hiro was sure to go. He was trailing behind the two girls. Hiro, Aura and Kisa had all brought their own lunches too. They sat down at the table.

Razi smiled, kissing Kenny on the cheek. "Thanks." she said. She poked the food again, before getting up and dumping everything in the trash. "Food posioning, a buck fifty." she joked.

Kenny laughed. "I actually thought you'd probably not bring a lunch and brougt extra for you anyway. Most of it's yours." He grinned. "You do eat more than me after all." He pulled out two chicken sandwhiches and handed one to Razi, and then gave her a little bag of chips, a cookie and some carrot sticks.

Kisa and Aura smiled as Kenny shared his lunch with Razi. Hiro just concentrated on eating his food.

Razi grinned. "You know me so well." she laughed, grabbing the food. "My mom packed me something, but Olivia threw a fit, and she knocked it off the counter and ate most of it." she said.

Kenny laughed. "That sucks. Did you throw fits often when you were her age?" He smiled at her.

"Hey, Kisa, want a piece of my chocolate bar." Aura asked Kisa.

Kisa smiled and nodded. "Sure. Thank you, Aura-chan."

Hiro, who had been watching Aura and Kisa, began to glower at his food.

Razi smiled. "My mom said I threw one when i woke up, before every meal, bath time, and bedtime." she said as-a-matter-of-factly.

[Akkii]

Kenny laughed. "Wow, what a brat!" He teased, kissing her on the cheek.

Hiro had seen that too and looked jealous.

Razi laughed too. "Okay, is it just me" she started "or is the history teacher the most boring person in the GALAXY?" she exclaimed, throwing her arms in the air, nearly hitting Kenny in the face. "And what's with the English teacher?"

Kenny jumped at Razi's sudden explosion.

Aura agreed with Razi. "I know! The history teacher drones on and on and on! But just be thankful that this school has teachers who speak English, I don't loads of japanese yet, because most people talk to fast. You guys," She looked to Kisa, Hiro and Kenny. "All just speak slow enough for Razi and I to understand!"

Kenny laughed.

Razi crossed her arms, pretending to be mad. "And what is that supposed to mean?" she asked, trying not to laugh.

"It means that in Japan we're dumb as sticks!" Aura laughed.

Razi laughed too. "I'm getting better." she said. "I'm teaching Livvy some." she smiled. "I taught her how to say no, mine, stupid, and want." she grinned.

A girl in a mini-skirt and a layered tank top walked over. Razi noticed her nails were painted neon pink, and she had pink highlights. "Hi." she said cheerfully, winking at Kenny. Razi stood up. "Back off, kid." she said. "He's mine." Colette stepped back. "Excuse me?" she said. "You heard me. So get you manicured, spoiled butt over there." Razi pointed across the lunch room, where a bunch of girls were sitting. Colette gasped. Razi cracked her knuckles and the girl scurried away. Razi sat down as if nothing had heppened.

Aura giggled slightly but tried to contain herself. "Calm down, Raz." She was glad her friend hadn't started trembling yet.

Kenny was biting his lip, his cheeks red. What Razi had done caused a scene and people kept looking from her to him.

Razi looked up, grinning. "What?" she said. "Is it such a crime to put someone in their place?"

Kisa was biting her lip nervously. Kenny explained. "Oh, well, she's just sort of one of the more popular girls. No big deal, really. People just pay more attention to that stuff." He shrugged. He'd been blushing because of the attention, but people were turning back to their lunch and he felt better.

Razi ducked her head, seeing Kenny's embarresment. "Er...I"m gonna go to the bathroom..." she said quickly, before jumping up and practically bloting from the lunchroom, mutterng "Stupid, stupid, stupid! I was in agner managment for THREE YEARS, and this is what I get."

Aura couldn't help but giggle a bit. "Poor Raz. If she's not out in ten minutes I think I'll go after her."

Skye sat at the end of a mostly empty table, watching them. They seemed like nice people. She watched he red-haired one run off, and wondered what happened. She considered following her.

Aura checked her watch. "Five minutes have passed and she's still not out. Be right back guys." As she stood up she noticed the girl staring at them and smiled politely at her and waved.
