Pain In The Neck (Ember!)

It was break time at the High School. Yuki, Kyo, Hatsuharu, Momiji (wearing the girl's uniform, as usual), Kyo, Tohru, and Ember, maybe a few others, were standing around at the lockers.

Kyo was looking somewhat annoyed as Yuki and Hatsuharu made little jokes about him, Momiji laughing right along with them, while Tohru was trying to talk to Kyo to get his mind off of them.

((In the next post I make, I shall bring in the pain in the neck. *laugh*))

Ember was laughing at the two boys make fun of Kyo. You had to admit, it was pretty funny.

Edward smirked and walked up behind his sister. THe thoughts of Kyo now...so amusing.

Makoto Takei walked through the halls. Oh. The blonde-headed Momiji was in the girl's uniform again. Kyo's hair was still dyed orange, and Hatsuharu's still dyed white. The only good Sohma boy was Yuki. And that Ember Cullen's hair! Such a vibrant red! It must be dyed too. The others should follow his example. The student body president marched over to the group.

Great, him. Yuki thought.

Oh, Yuki, such a great role-model. I do hope he accepts becoming student body president when I graduate! Makoto thought.

"Hello, President-san," Yuki said, sounding a tad bit annoyed.

"Ah, hello, Yuki-kun," He said hastily, then glanced to the 'troublemakers'.

"Sohma Kyo, Sohma Momiji, Sohma Hatsuharu, Cullen Ember!" He addressed them. "I'm sick of so many rules being broken. Why in he** do you, Hatsuharu and Kyo dye your hair such odd colors?" He demanded to Ember. He'd talk to Momiji in a moment about the girl's uniform.

"What the-- How many times do I have to tell you?! It's my real color, da**it!" Kyo snapped.

"This is my real color, too," Hatsuharu said, sounding on the brink of snapping into Black mode.

"Nonsense! I see the black roots!" Makoto suggested, meaning the black hair on the back of Hatsuharu's neck.

"...this is my natural color." Ember said. She was of Irish desent....it wasn't really that hard to figure out.
Edward watched. Wow, he was annoying.
"And please don't call me Cullen Ember. Call me Ember." She said.

[Akkii]

Makoto rolled his eyes at Ember disbelievingly. "I highly doubt that that is your natural color." But he gave up, whirling to Momiji.

"And you! Why are you wearing the girl's uniform?" He demanded.

"I look better in it," Momiji stated.

"How foolish! A boy wearing a skirt out in public!"

"But... but..." Momiji sniffed, crying now.

Tohru bowed. "Ah, President-san, h-he just thinks he looks better in it. Please stop..." She said quietly.

Haru stepped up to defend Momiji, even though Tohru was trying. "Listen, you," He growled. Yup, he'd snapped. "Look, if I didn't have piercings, it wouldn't mean I was a nice guy! If I had black hair, it wouldn't mean I wouldn't be able to beat you to a bloody pulp," He said, then turned to the girls behind Makoto. "You girls think Momiji looks alright, right? And if he looks good now, imagine what he'll look like when he's older and looks better in the boy's uniform."

The girls were imagining it and gasped. So handsome!

Makoto scoffed. "There's a dress code! It's not fair to the other students!"

"What if Yuki came to school dressed in the girl's uniform?" Hatsuharu suggested.

Makoto imagined now. "So.. beautiful..."

"QUIT IMAGINING ME!" Yuki growled.

[Platinum]

Ember almost gagged.
Eeww...

"But, President. This is my natural color. You can ask my brother." She claimed, pointing her thumb at Edward in the background. Edward nodded once.
"And why are you imagining Yuki in a skirt?' She asked.

[Akkii]

"It's Haru's fault..." Yuki had to admit.

Haru, who had, for the most part, returned back to normal, nodded, a distant gaze on his face. He was bored...

Momiji was sniffing, trying to stop crying.

The president grimaced slightly, not wanting to reply.

"President-san, it really is her real color," Yuki said. "And their colors are natural too. If they'd been dyed, we'd have seen the colors faded at some point, correct?"

"I... suppose you're right, Yuki Sohma-san," Makoto grudgingly agreed.

Da**it, what a pain in the neck... glad he'll be graduating this year. Wish he wouldn't be picking me for Student Body President, though... Yuki thought.

[Platinum]

You could hear a snicker in the baclground. Edward, reading Yuki's thoughts.

Ember didn't know what Edward was snickering over, so she just socked him in the shoulder to get him to shut up.

[Akkii]

"I heard there was a fight earlier," Yuki lied. "Down on the first floor, President," He said.

"Thank you, Yuki-kun," Makoto replied, going down the stairs, followed by the two girls.

"So annoying..." Yuki muttered, leaning his head against a locker.

Ember sighed. He was annoying. "What's his problem with people with different hair color?" She asked, leaning her head against Yuki's shoulder

((You spelled it right. He's not currently the vice president, and he and Yuki don't know eachother. It would be a tad awkward. And we haven't used the nickname Yun-yun, have we? if we have, let's pretend we haven't, because Yuki DESPISES that name when he first gets it. xD))

"Well, some people consider it disrespectful to not have more natural appearing hair colors, such as black, brown, or blonde. So orange, vibrant red, and white would be rejected. In middle school you're sometimes teased about it. Though... I never was. Kisa Sohma is, though. She has orange hair, like Kyo."

Kanya was walking around. Since it was break she really didn't have much to do. Her work had been finished in her classes despite her being tardy again. She glanced up as she crossed the group. Of course she noticed the vampires right off the back as they would notice her. She was curious though. She had met Yuki once before. Although now she could control her power... A little. It still allowed her to see secrets without her wanting to. Like now for instance. Ember's was blurry. She had another side apparently. Since it was blurry that meant it wasn't exactly a secret. The others were interesting though. Apparently they changed into a rabbit, cat, cow, and a rat when hugged by the opposite gender. Big secret. One that she really didn't want to know. Although she already had plenty like that.

[Platinum]

Ember's senses perked up. Vampire. Female. Ability.

Senses secrets.

She turned around. "Hello..." She said softly, still gathering information.

[Akkii]

Yuki glanced at Ember and turned to look at Kanya.

"Oh, hello Kanya-san," He said, remembering the last time he saw her. He wondered if Ember was sensing something about the girl. Kanya did look like a vampire...

[LoneWolf]

Kanya nodded."Hello." Kanya saw something else. Apparently both of these vampires here had abilities. Strange. It wasn't exactly a secret so she would see them. She would rely on other things to figure out there abilities. Unfortunately for Edward she wasn't dwelling on the secrets she had learned... Or anything for that matter. Her abnormal amber eyes stayed on Ember for a moment before flickering to the others."Ah yes. Yuki right?" She said although every one knew who Yuki was thanks to his fan club.

[Akkii]

Yuki nodded.

"These are my cousins," He motioned to the Sohma boys. "Kyo, Momiji, and Hatsuharu Sohma. And this is Ember Cullen, and her brother Edward Cullen," He introduced.

"Nice to meet you. I have heard Yuki has many cousins." She kept a normal tone despite the secrets that would normally interfere. She didn't really like being able to see peoples secrets. Always knowing... It was hard to keep them all. To make sure she kept calm and didn't let anything slip.

Yuki nodded. "Quite a few," He agreed.

"Way to many," Kyo grumbled.

"Want a lollipop?" Momiji asked, holding a lollipop out to Kanya.

Ember almost smiled at the boy. He was rather...bouncy.
